협동학습이 치위생학생의 학습전략, 학업적 자기효능감 및 수업만족도에 미치는 효과 (Effect of cooperative learning on learning strategies, academic self-efficacy and class satisfaction among dental hygiene students)

  • Objectives : The purpose of this study was to examine the educational effect of cooperative learning, which enables learners to make portfolio by taking advantage of their knowledge and skills acquired through practice, on an oral prophylaxis practice course in an attempt to stir up the spontaneous learning of learners, their learning interest and problem-solving skills. Methods : The selected dental hygiene students engaged in cooperative learning in oral prophylaxis practice III class in the second semester of their sophomore year by utilizing portfolio that was prepared by altering an inclusive dental hygiene practice model. They completed all the 15-week practice course, and then their portfolio was evaluated. They were divided into eight nonequivalent groups whose members were all different in academic standing, and their learning strategies and academic self-efficacy were checked before and after the instruction was provided. And their satisfaction with the class was investigated after the instruction was provided. Results : 1. There were significant gaps to $0.36{\pm}0.07$ in the charge of learning strategies after they engaged in cooperative learning(p<0.01). There were the broadest differences in cognitive strategies to 3.61, followed by metacognitive strategies to 3.19, and significant differences were found in all the subfactors(p<0.01). 2. There were significant gaps in the charge of self-efficancy to $0.13{\pm}0.06$ after they engaged in cooperative learning(p<0.01). There were the widest differences in self-regulating efficancy to 3.49, followed by confidence to 3.03 and task difficulty preference to 2.97, and significant differences were found in all the subfactors(p<0.01). 3. When their satisfaction level was analyzed after engaging in cooperative learning, there were significant gaps to 3.94 in the satisfaction level with all of the lectures(p<0.01). There were significant gaps in the satisfaction level with lecture to 4.20, with ensuring academic achievement to 4.13 and with cooperative learning to 3.48 (p<0.01). Conclusions : The above-mentioned findings indicated that cooperative learning had a positive impact on the learning strategies, academic self-efficacy and class satisfaction of the learners, and this study is expected to lay the foundation for the development of new teaching methods for dental hygiene.

제 1, 2회 학생 과학 공동탐구 토론대회의 종합적 평가 (Summative Evaluation of 1993, 1994 Discussion Contest of Scientific Investigation)

  • The first and the second "Discussion Contest of Scientific Investigation" was evaluated in this study. This contest was a part of 'Korean Youth Science Festival' held in 1993 and 1994. The evaluation was based on the data collected from the middle school students of final teams, their teachers, a large number of middle school students and college students who were audience of the final competition. Questionnaires, interviews, reports of final teams, and video tape of final competition were used to collect data. The study focussed on three research questions. The first was about the preparation and the research process of students of final teams. The second was about the format and the proceeding of the Contest. The third was whether participating the Contest was useful experience for the students and the teachers of the final teams. The first area, the preparation and the research process of students, were investigated in three aspects. One was the level of cooperation, participation, support and the role of teachers. The second was the information search and experiment, and the third was the report writing. The students of the final teams from both years, had positive opinion about the cooperation, students' active involvement, and support from family and school. Students considered their teachers to be a guide or a counsellor, showing their level of active participation. On the other hand, the interview of 1993 participants showed that there were times that teachers took strong leading role. Therefore one can conclude that students took active roles most of the time while the room for improvement still exists. To search the information they need during the period of the preparation, student visited various places such as libraries, bookstores, universities, and research institutes. Their search was not limited to reading the books, although the books were primary source of information. Students also learned how to organize the information they found and considered leaning of organizing skill useful and fun. Variety of experiments was an important part of preparation and students had positive opinion about it. Understanding related theory was considered most difficult and important, while designing and building proper equipments was considered difficult but not important. This reflects the students' school experience where the equipments were all set in advance and students were asked to confirm the theories presented in the previous class hours. About the reports recording the research process, students recognize the importance and the necessity of the report but had difficulty in writing it. Their reports showed tendency to list everything they did without clear connection to the problem to be solved. Most of the reports did not record the references and some of them confused report writing with story telling. Therefore most of them need training in writing the reports. It is also desirable to describe the process of student learning when theory or mathematics that are beyond the level of middle school curriculum were used because it is part of their investigation. The second area of evaluation was about the format and the proceeding of the Contest, the problems given to students, and the process of student discussion. The format of the Contests, which consisted of four parts, presentation, refutation, debate and review, received good evaluation from students because it made students think more and gave more difficult time but was meaningful and helped to remember longer time according to students. On the other hand, students said the time given to each part of the contest was too short. The problems given to students were short and open ended to stimulate students' imagination and to offer various possible routes to the solution. This type of problem was very unfamiliar and gave a lot of difficulty to students. Student had positive opinion about the research process they experienced but did not recognize the fact that such a process was possible because of the oneness of the task. The level of the problems was rated as too difficult by teachers and college students but as appropriate by the middle school students in audience and participating students. This suggests that it is possible for student to convert the problems to be challengeable and intellectually satisfactory appropriate for their level of understanding even when the problems were difficult for middle school students. During the process of student discussion, a few problems were observed. Some problems were related to the technics of the discussion, such as inappropriate behavior for the role he/she was taking, mismatching answers to the questions. Some problems were related to thinking. For example, students thinking was off balanced toward deductive reasoning, and reasoning based on experimental data was weak. The last area of evaluation was the effect of the Contest. It was measured through the change of the attitude toward science and science classes, and willingness to attend the next Contest. According to the result of the questionnaire, no meaningful change in attitude was observed. However, through the interview several students were observed to have significant positive change in attitude while no student with negative change was observed. Most of the students participated in Contest said they would participate again or recommend their friend to participate. Most of the teachers agreed that the Contest should continue and they would recommend their colleagues or students to participate. As described above, the "Discussion Contest of Scientific Investigation", which was developed and tried as a new science contest, had positive response from participating students and teachers, and the audience. Two among the list of results especially demonstrated that the goal of the Contest, "active and cooperative science learning experience", was reached. One is the fact that students recognized the experience of cooperation, discussion, information search, variety of experiments to be fun and valuable. The other is the fact that the students recognized the format of the contest consisting of presentation, refutation, discussion and review, required more thinking and was challenging, but was more meaningful. Despite a few problems such as, unfamiliarity with the technics of discussion, weakness in inductive and/or experiment based reasoning, and difficulty in report writing, The Contest demonstrated the possibility of new science learning environment and science contest by offering the chance to challenge open tasks by utilizing student science knowledge and ability to inquire and to discuss rationally and critically with other students.

대학 교직수업에 적용한 플립드 러닝의 교육적 효과 (Educational Effects of Flipped Learning on University Teaching Courses)

  • 본 연구는 대학 교직수업에 적용한 플립드 러닝의 교육적 효과를 검증하고, 학습과정에서 학습자들이 느낀 플립드 러닝의 장단점을 분석하는 것이 목적이다. 광주에 소재한 N대학교의 교직 이수자 64명을 대상으로 한 학기 동안 플립드 러닝을 적용하였다. 15주 수업 중 7주 수업에 플립드 러닝의 기본 구조인 동영상 콘텐츠에 대한 사전학습과 강의실 내 토론 및 학습자 활동으로 수업을 진행한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 플립드 러닝을 적용한 후에 학습자들은 함께 학습하는 상황을 보다 편하게 느끼며 협력학습을 더욱 선호하게 되었다. 둘째, 플립드 러닝은 학습자의 메타인지 향상에는 영향을 주지 못했지만, 하위요인 인식과 인지전략의 향상에는 영향을 주었다. 셋째, 플립드 러닝이 학업적 자기효능감 향상에는 영향을 미치지 못했지만, 협력학습 성향이 낮은 학습자들의 과제 난이도 선호와 자신감 향상에는 영향을 주었다. 넷째, 플립드 러닝은 자기주도적 학습능력 향상에 의미 있는 영향을 주지 못했지만, 협력학습 성향이 높은 학습자들의 학습계획 능력 향상에는 영향을 주었다. 다섯째, 플립드 러닝에 대한 학습자들의 수업만족도는 전반적으로 매우 높았다. 보다 효과적이고 효율적인 플립드 러닝 적용을 위해서는 안정적인 학습지원시스템이 전제되어야 하며, 학습자의 사전학습과 과제 수행에 대한 부담감은 줄이면서 학습에 대한 흥미와 집중력을 높일 수 있는 제도나 정책과 함께 수업설계 전략이 적용되어야 함을 제안하였다.

물리치료학과 학생들의 재활로봇에 대한 인식도와 자기효능감 조사 (A Survey on the Recognition of Rehabilitative Robots for Therapy and Self-Efficacy in University Students Enrolled in the Department of Physical Therapy)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to investigate basic data on the recognition of rehabilitation robots and self-efficacy through general characteristics of students in the department of physical therapy. Methods: This study surveyed 100 students in the Department of Physical Therapy at E University in Seongnam using Google Form, an online survey tool. The questionnaire consisted of 64 questions including 15 questions on general characteristics, 13 questions regarding recognition of rehabilitative robots, and 36 questions about self-efficacy. General self-efficacy consisted of three sub-factors: confidence, self-regulation efficacy, and task difficulty preference. Results: The recognition of rehabilitative robots according to general characteristics showed significant differences in age, level of education, and experience in searching rehabilitative robots; according to general characteristics, self-efficacy showed significant differences dependent on age and gender (p < 0.05). In addition, recognition of rehabilitation robots for students in the Department of Physical Therapy was found to have a significant effect on robot use self-efficacy (p < 0.05). Conclusion: There were significant differences in the scores of rehabilitation robot recognition and self-efficacy according to the general characteristics of students in the Department of Physical Therapy. For such reasons, it is important for students to have an opportunity to get educated on rehabilitation robots; in order to achieve this goal, domestic studies on rehabilitation robots must be actively conducted. The technological development of rehabilitation robots and the establishment of a system for domestic rehabilitation robots from both social and legal standpoints were found to be necessary based on a volume of domestic research.

IPA를 활용한 전기공사 건설사업관리 역량 평가 및 개선방안 연구 (A Study on Competency Evaluation and Improvement Plan of Electrical Construction Management Using Importance-Performance Analysis)

  • 최근 건설 프로젝트 규모의 대형화, 복잡화로 인해 관리기술의 난이도가 상승하고 있으며, 이에 따른 리스크도 함께 증가하고 있어 프로젝트 관리기술 향상에 대한 필요성이 증가하고 있다. 이 같은 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 건설공사에서 우선적으로 건설사업관리(Construction Management)제도를 도입하였으나 국내 건설 산업의 경우 업역별 분리발주가 이루어지고 있어 프로젝트 전반에 걸쳐 건설사업관리제도의 기능이 제대로 작동되지 않고 있는 실정이다. 이 같은 부분적 사업관리제도의 운영은 향후 스마트그리드, 인텔리전트 빌딩 등과 같은 융 복합화 사업에 있어 많은 제약을 받을 수 있다. 국내 건설 프로젝트 관리기술의 향상을 위해서는 현 사업관리제도의 이질성을 극복할 수 있는 업역별 사업관리기술 역량을 확보하고, 협업 능력 저해 요소를 발견하여 이를 해결해야 한다. 이에 본 연구에서는 IPA모델을 활용하여 건설 전기공사의 사업관리제도 업무역량 차이를 분석하고, 프로젝트의 효율적인 운영을 위한 전기공사 사업관리제도 도입 방안을 모색하고자 한다.

한국형 휠체어 탑승 고속버스에 대한 사용성 연구 (The Usability Study on Korea Express Bus with Wheelchair Access)

  • 본 연구에서는 휠체어 사용 장애인을 대상으로 한국형 휠체어 탑승 가능한 고속버스의 사용성 평가를 수행하여 휠체어 탑승 시스템에 대한 효과성, 효율성, 만족도에 대해 알아보았다. 지역사회에서 생활하는 수동휠체어 사용자 11명, 전동휠체어 사용자 9명을 모집하여 휠체어 탑승 버스 승차하기, 휠체어로 내부에서 이동하기, 휠체어 탑승 버스 하차하기의 3가지 시나리오를 이용하여 사용성 평가를 수행하였다. 효과성은 과제 성공 여부로 측정하였으며, 효율성은 과제의 난이도와 수행의 노력도, 만족도는 제품에 대한 수용도와 전반적인 시스템 사용도 지표를 이용하여 측정하였다. 연구결과, 휠체어 사용자 20명은 3가지 시나리오 수행을 완료하였으며, 효율성에서 난이도 측정결과0.33점(적당하다)과 1.36점(조금쉽다) 사이에 분포 하였다. 수행의 노력도는 8.36점(전혀 힘들지 않음)부터 11.78점(가벼움)으로 측정되었다. 만족도에서 수용도는 1.00점(조금은 받아들일 수 있다)부터 2점(받아들일 수 있다) 사이에 분포하였으며, 전반적인 시스템 사용도는 수동휠체어가 70.7점으로 C등급의 수용가능한 경계선의 시스템으로 측정되었고, 전동휠체어는 73.1점으로 B등급으로 측정되었다. 본 연구는 국내에서 개발된 한국형 휠체어 탑승 고속버스에 대하여 휠체어 사용 장애인을 대상으로 사용성 연구를 수행함으로써 장애인의 대중교통 접근성과 이동성 확보 및 연구 방법에 대한 기초적인 근거를 제공했다는 점에서 학술적 의의를 가진다. 추후에는 사용성에 대한 근거 수준의 질적 향상을 위해 다수의 연구 참여자와 다양한 휠체어 종류를 통한 연구가 진행되어야 할 것으로 사료된다.

Control of electrical types in the P-doped ZnO thin film by Ar/$O_2$ gas flow ratio

  • ZnO has a very large exciton binding energy (60 meV) as well as thermal and chemical stability, which are expected to allow efficient excitonic emission, even at room temperature. ZnO based electronic devices have attracted increasing interest as the backplanes for applications in the next-generation displays, such as active-matrix liquid crystal displays (AMLCDs) and active-matrix organic light emitting diodes (AMOLEDs), and in solid state lighting systems as a substitution for GaN based light emitting diodes (LEDs). Most of these electronic devices employ the electrical behavior of n-type semiconducting active oxides due to the difficulty in obtaining a p-type film with long-term stability and high performance. p-type ZnO films can be produced by substituting group V elements (N, P, and As) for the O sites or group I elements (Li, Na, and K) for Zn sites. However, the achievement of p-type ZnO is a difficult task due to self-compensation induced from intrinsic donor defects, such as O vacancies (Vo) and Zn interstitials ($Zn_i$), or an unintentional extrinsic donor such as H. Phosphorus (P) doped ZnO thin films were grown on c-sapphire substrates by radio frequency magnetron sputtering with various Ar/ $O_2$ gas ratios. Control of the electrical types in the P-doped ZnO films was achieved by varying the gas ratio with out post-annealing. The P-doped ZnO films grown at a Ar/ $O_2$ ratio of 3/1 showed p-type conductivity with a hole concentration and hole mobility of $10^{-17}cm^{-3}$ and $2.5cm^2/V{\cdot}s$, respectively. X-ray diffraction showed that the ZnO (0002) peak shifted to lower angle due to the positioning of $p^{3-}$ ions with a smaller ionic radius in the $O^{2-}$ sites. This indicates that a p-type mechanism was due to the substitutional Po. The low-temperature photoluminescence of the p-type ZnO films showed p-type related neutral acceptor-bound exciton emission. The p-ZnO/n-Si heterojunction LEO showed typical rectification behavior, which confirmed the p-type characteristics of the ZnO films in the as-deposited status, despite the deep-level related electroluminescence emission.

경호원의 조직 및 직업인식에 관한 현상학적 연구 (Phenomenological Study of Guard's Recognition for Organization and Vocation)

  • 공경호 분야에 종사하고 있는 이들이 경호원이라는 직업과 그들 조직의 특성을 어떻게 인식하고 있는지에 대한 연구를 통해 이 분야 진출을 희망하는 이들에게 좀 더 가치 있는 실질 정보를 제공하기 위한 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 연구 참여자들은 최고의 경호조직의 요건으로 '구성원 상호 간 존중'과 '가족 같은 분위기', 그리고 '우수한 조직원'과 '경제적 처우 및 풍부한 예산'을 손꼽았다. 둘째, 자신이 몸담고 있는 조직의 강점으로 '체계적인 일과와 교육훈련', '엄정한 선발제도', 그리고 '강한 응집력과 팀워크'를 들었다. 셋째, 연구 참여자들은 '내부 평가제도', '고착된 교육내용', 그리고 '제한된 보직 순환' 등은 그들 조직의 약점이라고 거론하였다. 넷째, 연구 참여자들은 최고의 경호조직에서 일하고 있다는 것 자체로 보람을 느끼며, 반면 시민들로부터 경호업무에 대해 협조 받지 못하거나 사고를 당할 경우 보상 및 처우가 기대에 미치지 못했을 때 회의를 느낀다고 하였다. 다섯째, 직무수행 간 어려운 점과 스트레스 원인으로 경호업무 특성을 이해하지 못하는 이들과의 업무협조의 어려움, 불안정한 생활패턴, 일관성 없는 평가, 그리고 계속되는 긴장감 등을 토로하였다. 여섯째, 직업의 장점으로 최고 조직에서 근무한다는 자부심과 직업안정성을 들었고 반면 업무중요도와 위험성에 비해 낮은 보수와 복지수준, 자유롭지 못한 생활 등은 직업의 단점으로 인식하였다. 따라서 경호 관련 분야 진출을 희망하는 이들은 이상과 같은 연구결과를 참고로 경호원이라는 직업 및 경호조직의 특성을 고려하여 진로목표를 설정하여야 하겠다.

학습태도를 매개변수로 한 셀프리더십 유형과 학업성과간 관계: 한국과 인도간 비교연구 (The Comparative Study between Korean and Indian Students regarding Relationship among Self-leadership Types, Performance and Class Attendance Attitudes)

  • 최근 셀프리더십과 관련된 연구들은 주로 경영학, 심리학, 상담학 등의 다양한 분야에서 많은 관심을 보이는 연구 분야다. 오랜 기간 동안 리더십은 조직 내 경영진이나 팀리더 등의 조직책임자들에게 강조되는 개념이었다. 그러나 최근에는 개인의 자유의지를 스스로 통제 혹은 관리하여 자신의 행동을 바람직한 방향으로 이끌고자 하는 셀프리더십(self-leadership)관련 연구에 학계, 산업계의 관심이 모아지고 있다. 본 연구는 정보기술(information technology) 및 엔지니어링 과목을 수강한 학부재학생들의 셀프리더십 전략(독립변수)이 수강태도에 영향을 미치는지 수강태도가 매개변인의 역할을 하여 학업성과(종속변수)에 어떤 영향을 미치는 지를 연구하였다. 한국(116명)과 인도학생(36명)을 대상으로 국가간 차이를 비교 연구하였다. 분석결과 한국학생들의 경우 건설적 사고유형의 학생일수록 자기노력을 많이 하며, 결과적으로 학업성과에 긍정적 영향을 미쳤다. 인도학생들의 경우는 행위중심유형의 학생일수록 학업성과가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 연구 결과는 조직 구성원 혹은 학생들의 셀프리더십을 고양함으로써 과업에 임하는 태도나 수업에 임하는 바람직한 태도를 제시하여 학업성과를 촉진할 수 있는 방안수립에 시사점을 줄 수 있을 것이다. 나아가 글로벌 환경의 기업 생산성 제고를 위한 셀프리더십 프로그램 마련에 도움을 줄 것이다.

데이컴(DACUM) 기법을 활용한 기계·금속 교사의 직무 분석 (Job/Occupational Analysis of Secondary Mechanical and Metallurgical Education Teachers Using the DACUM Methodology)

  • 이 연구는 데이컴(DACUM) 기법을 활용하여 기계 금속 교사의 직무(job)를 분석하는 것이다. 데이컴 직무 분석은 15명으로 구성된 데이컴 위원회를 중심으로 2015년 1월에 데이컴 워크샵을 통하여 실시하였다. 데이컴 워크샵을 통해 도출된 기계 금속 교사의 데이컴 차트의 타당성을 확보하기 위하여 검증위원들의 검증을 받았다. 주요 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 기계 금속 교사는 중등 교원 자격을 가지고 공업계열 특성화고등학교, 산업 수요맞춤형고등학교 등에서 학생들에게 기계 금속 관련 전문 교과목을 가르치고, 인성교육, 진로지도, 생활지도 등의 업무를 기획하고 수행하는 자로 정의하였다. 둘째, 기계 금속 교사의 직무 수행을 위해 요구되는 16개의 책무(전문교과교육준비, 전문교과교수활동, 학생생활지도, 취업진로지도, 교무행정업무수행, 자기계발, 기계제도, 범용공작기계가공, 수치제어공작기계가공, 자동화설비제작, 산업설비제작, 금속소재가공, 금속재료시험, 금속재질개선처리, 자동차정비, 자동차차체수리)와 199개의 과업을 도출한 후, 각 과업별 중요도, 난이도, 수행 빈도 및 특정 과업의 입직 초기 요구를 구명하였다. 셋째, 기계 금속 교사 직무 분석 결과를 바탕으로 데이컴 차트를 제시하였다.
