Breast cancer is among the cancers that may be healed as the disease diagnosed at early times before it is distributed through all the areas of the body. The Automatic Analysis of Diagnostic Tests (AAT) is an automated assistance for physicians that can deliver reliable findings to analyze the critically endangered diseases. Deep learning, a family of machine learning methods, has grown at an astonishing pace in recent years. It is used to search and render diagnoses in fields from banking to medicine to machine learning. We attempt to create a deep learning algorithm that can reliably diagnose the breast cancer in the mammogram. We want the algorithm to identify it as cancer, or this image is not cancer, allowing use of a full testing dataset of either strong clinical annotations in training data or the cancer status only, in which a few images of either cancers or noncancer were annotated. Even with this technique, the photographs would be annotated with the condition; an optional portion of the annotated image will then act as the mark. The final stage of the suggested system doesn't need any based labels to be accessible during model training. Furthermore, the results of the review process suggest that deep learning approaches have surpassed the extent of the level of state-of-of-the-the-the-art in tumor identification, feature extraction, and classification. in these three ways, the paper explains why learning algorithms were applied: train the network from scratch, transplanting certain deep learning concepts and constraints into a network, and (another way) reducing the amount of parameters in the trained nets, are two functions that help expand the scope of the networks. Researchers in economically developing countries have applied deep learning imaging devices to cancer detection; on the other hand, cancer chances have gone through the roof in Africa. Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) is a sort of deep learning that can aid you with a variety of other activities, such as speech recognition, image recognition, and classification. To accomplish this goal in this article, we will use CNN to categorize and identify breast cancer photographs from the available databases from the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
Generally, a large data set is required for learning of deep learning. However, since it is not easy to create large data sets, there are a lot of techniques that make small data sets larger through data expansion such as rotation, flipping, and filtering. However, these simple techniques have limitation on extendibility because they are difficult to escape from the features already possessed. In order to solve this problem, we propose a method to acquire new image data by using existing data. This is done by retrieving and acquiring similar images using existing image data as a query of the content-based image retrieval (CBIR). Finally, we compare the performance of the base model with the model using CBIR.
Deep learning advancements can solve computer vision problems, but large-scale datasets are necessary for high accuracy. In this paper, we propose an image generation technique using object bounding boxes and image edge components. The object bounding boxes are extracted from the images through object detection, and image edge components are used as input values for the image generation model to create new image data. As results of experiments, the images generated by the proposed method demonstrated similar image quality to the source images in the image quality assessment, and also exhibited good performance during the deep learning training process.
In this paper, we propose an user-centered integrated lost-goods management system through a ranking system based on weight and a hierarchical image classification system based on Deep Learning. The proposed system consists of a hierarchical image classification system that automatically classifies images through deep learning, and a ranking system modules that listing the registered lost property information on the system in order of weight for the convenience of the query process. In the process of registration, various information such as category classification, brand, and related tags are automatically recognized by only one photograph, thereby minimizing the hassle of users in the registration process. And through the ranking systems, it has increased the efficiency of searching for lost items by exposing users frequently visited lost items on top. As a result of the experiment, the proposed system allows users to use the system easily and conveniently.

With the development of deep learning technology, researchers and technicians keep attempting to apply deep learning in various industrial and academic fields, including the defense. Most of these attempts assume that the data are balanced. In reality, since lots of the data are imbalanced, the classifier is not properly built and the model's performance can be low. Therefore, this study proposes cost-sensitive learning as a solution to the imbalance data problem of image classification in the defense field. In the proposed model, cost-sensitive learning is a method of giving a high weight on the cost function of a minority class. The results of cost-sensitive based model shows the test F1-score is higher when cost-sensitive learning is applied than general learning's through 160 experiments using submarine/non-submarine dataset and warship/non-warship dataset. Furthermore, statistical tests are conducted and the results are shown significantly.
Data is critical in deep learning but the scarcity of data often occurs in research, especially in the preparation of the paired training data. In this paper, document image binarization with unpaired data is studied by introducing adversarial learning, excluding the need for supervised or labeled datasets. However, the simple extension of the previous unpaired training to binarization inevitably leads to poor performance compared to paired data training. Thus, a new deep learning approach is proposed by introducing a multi-diversity of higher quality generated images. In this paper, a two-stage model is proposed that comprises the generative adversarial network (GAN) followed by the U-net network. In the first stage, the GAN uses the unpaired image data to create paired image data. With the second stage, the generated paired image data are passed through the U-net network for binarization. Thus, the trained U-net becomes the binarization model during the testing. The proposed model has been evaluated over the publicly available DIBCO dataset and it outperforms other techniques on unpaired training data. The paper shows the potential of using unpaired data for binarization, for the first time in the literature, which can be further improved to replace paired data training for binarization in the future.

This paper presents a method for 1:1 verification by comparing the similarity between the given real product image and the drawing image. The proposed method combines two existing CNN-based deep learning models to construct a Siamese Network. After extracting the feature vector of the image through the FC (Fully Connected) Layer of each network and comparing the similarity, if the real product image and the drawing image (front view, left and right side view, top view, etc) are the same product, the similarity is set to 1 for learning and, if it is a different product, the similarity is set to 0. The test (inference) model is a deep learning model that queries the real product image and the drawing image in pairs to determine whether the pair is the same product or not. In the proposed model, through a comparison of the similarity between the real product image and the drawing image, if the similarity is greater than or equal to a threshold value (Threshold: 0.5), it is determined that the product is the same, and if it is less than or equal to, it is determined that the product is a different product. The proposed model showed an accuracy of about 71.8% for a query to a product (positive: positive) with the same drawing as the real product, and an accuracy of about 83.1% for a query to a different product (positive: negative). In the future, we plan to conduct a study to improve the matching accuracy between the real product image and the drawing image by combining the parameter optimization study with the proposed model and adding processes such as data purification.
Image outpainting is a very interesting problem in that it can continuously fill the outside of a given image by considering the context of the image. There are two main challenges in this work. The first is to maintain the spatial consistency of the content of the generated area and the original input. The second is to generate high quality large image with a small amount of adjacent information. Existing image outpainting methods have difficulties such as generating inconsistent, blurry, and repetitive pixels. However, thanks to the recent development of deep learning technology, deep learning-based algorithms that show high performance compared to existing traditional techniques have been introduced. Deep learning-based image outpainting has been actively researched with various networks proposed until now. In this paper, we would like to introduce the latest technology and trends in the field of outpainting. This study compared recent techniques by analyzing representative networks among deep learning-based outpainting algorithms and showed experimental results through various data sets and comparison methods.

In this study, a deep-learning image analysis model was established and validated for AI-based monitoring of the tidal flat ecosystem for marine protected creatures Ocypode stimpsoni and their habitat. The data in the study was constructed using an unmanned aerial vehicle, and the U-net model was applied for the deep learning model. The accuracy of deep learning model learning results was about 0.76 and about 0.8 each for the Ocypode stimpsoni and their burrow whose accuracy was higher. Analyzing the distribution of crabs and burrows by putting orthomosaic images of the entire study area to the learned deep learning model, it was confirmed that 1,943 Ocypode stimpsoni and 2,807 burrow were distributed in the study area. Through this study, the possibility of using the deep learning image analysis technology for monitoring the tidal ecosystem was confirmed. And it is expected that it can be used in the tidal ecosystem monitoring field by expanding the monitoring sites and target species in the future.

We present a novel deep learning architecture for obtaining a latent image from a single blurry image, which contains dynamic motion blurs through object/camera movements. The proposed architecture consists of two sub-modules: blur image restoration and optical flow estimation. The tasks are highly related in that object/camera movements make cause blurry artifacts, whereas they are estimated through optical flow. The ablation study demonstrates that training multi-task architecture simultaneously improves both tasks compared to handling them separately. Objective and subjective evaluations show that our method outperforms the state-of-the-arts deep learning based techniques.
