Deep learning is another field of artificial intelligence (AI) utilized for computer aided diagnosis (CAD) and image processing in scientific research. Considering numerous mechanical repetitive tasks, reading image slices need time and improper with geographical limits, so the counting of image information is hard due to its strong subjectivity that raise the error ratio in misdiagnosis. Regarding the highest mortality rate of Lung cancer, there is a need for biopsy for determining its class for additional treatment. Deep learning has recently given strong tools in diagnose of lung cancer and making therapeutic regimen. However, identifying the pathological lung cancer's class by CT images in beginning phase because of the absence of powerful AI models and public training data set is difficult. Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) was proposed with its essential function in recognizing the pathological CT images. 472 patients subjected to staging FDG-PET/CT were selected in 2 months prior to surgery or biopsy. CNN was developed and showed the accuracy of 87%, 69%, and 69% in training, validation, and test sets, respectively, for T1-T2 and T3-T4 lung cancer classification. Subsequently, CNN (or deep learning) could improve the CT images' data set, indicating that the application of classifiers is adequate to accomplish better exactness in distinguishing pathological CT images that performs better than few deep learning models, such as ResNet-34, Alex Net, and Dense Net with or without Soft max weights.

Purpose Generative Adversarial Network(GAN) is one of deep learning technologies. This is a way to create a real fake image after learning the real image. In this study, after acquiring artificial intelligence images through GAN, We were compared and evaluated with real scan time images. We want to see if these technologies are potentially useful. Materials and Methods 30 patients who underwent 18F-FDG Brain PET/CT scanning at Severance Hospital, were acquired in 15-minute List mode and reconstructed into 1,2,3,4,5 and 15minute images, respectively. 25 out of 30 patients were used as learning images for learning of GAN and 5 patients used as verification images for confirming the learning model. The program was implemented using the Python and Tensorflow frameworks. After learning using the Pix2Pix model of GAN technology, this learning model generated artificial intelligence images. The artificial intelligence image generated in this way were evaluated as Mean Square Error(MSE), Peak Signal to Noise Ratio(PSNR), and Structural Similarity Index(SSIM) with real scan time image. Results The trained model was evaluated with the verification image. As a result, The 15-minute image created by the 5-minute image rather than 1-minute after the start of the scan showed a smaller MSE, and the PSNR and SSIM increased. Conclusion Through this study, it was confirmed that AI imaging technology is applicable. In the future, if these artificial intelligence imaging technologies are applied to nuclear medicine imaging, it will be possible to acquire images even with a short scan time, which can be expected to reduce artifacts caused by patient movement and increase the efficiency of the scanning room.

The exploration of the solar system is carried out through various payloads, and accordingly, many research results are emerging. We tried to apply deep-learning as a method of studying the bodies of solar system. Unlike Earth observation satellite data, the data of solar system differ greatly from celestial bodies to probes and to payloads of each probe. Therefore, it may be difficult to apply it to various data with the deep-learning model, but we expect that it will be able to reduce human errors or compensate for missing parts. We have implemented a model that detects craters on the lunar surface. A model was created using the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter Camera (LROC) image and the provided shapefile as input values, and applied to the lunar surface image. Although the result was not satisfactory, it will be applied to the image of the permanently shadow regions of the Moon, which is finally acquired by ShadowCam through image pre-processing and model modification. In addition, by attempting to apply it to Ceres and Mercury, which have similar the lunar surface, it is intended to suggest that deep-learning is another method for the study of the solar system.

This paper proposed a real-time earlobe detection system using deep learning on the web. Existing deep learning-based detection methods often find independent objects such as cars, mugs, cats, and people. We proposed a way to receive an image through the camera of the user device in a web environment and detect the earlobe on the server. First, we took a picture of the user's face with the user's device camera on the web so that the user's ears were visible. After that, we sent the photographed user's face to the server to find the earlobe. Based on the detected results, we printed an earring model on the user's earlobe on the web. We trained an existing YOLO v5 model using a dataset of about 200 that created a bounding box on the earlobe. We estimated the position of the earlobe through a trained deep learning model. Through this process, we proposed a real-time earlobe detection system on the web. The proposed method showed the performance of detecting earlobes in real-time and loading 3D models from the web in real-time.

Recently, we are using robots and drones to collect images. However, as the robot or drone is shaken by external influences, pre-processing technology to register images is required. Therefore, in this paper, we use autonomous robots, drones dataset and improve the quality of shaken image data through the Deblur deep learning model. We confirmed through the experimental results that the shaken images were registered and evaluated the model.

Steganography has been successfully employed in various applications, e.g., copyright control of materials, smart identity cards, video error correction during transmission, etc. Deep learning-based steganography models can hide information adaptively through network learning, and they draw much more attention. However, the capacity, security, and robustness of the existing deep learning-based steganography models are still not fully satisfactory. In this paper, three models for different cases, i.e., a basic model, a secure model, a secure and robust model, have been proposed for different cases. In the basic model, the functions of high-capacity secret information hiding and extraction have been realized through an encoding network and a decoding network respectively. The high-capacity steganography is implemented by hiding a secret image into a carrier image having the same resolution with the help of concat operations, InceptionBlock and convolutional layers. Moreover, the secret image is hidden into the channel B of carrier image only to resolve the problem of color distortion. In the secure model, to enhance the security of the basic model, a steganalysis network has been added into the basic model to form an adversarial network. In the secure and robust model, an attack network has been inserted into the secure model to improve its robustness further. The experimental results have demonstrated that the proposed secure model and the secure and robust model have an overall better performance than some existing high-capacity deep learning-based steganography models. The secure model performs best in invisibility and security. The secure and robust model is the most robust against some attacks.
Recently, artificial intelligence (AI) and the Internet of things (IoT), which are represented by machine learning and deep learning among IT technologies related to the Fourth Industrial Revolution, are applied to our real life in various fields through various researches. In this paper, IoT and AI using object recognition technology are applied to classify clothing. For this purpose, the image dataset was taken using webcam and raspberry pi, and GoogLeNet, a convolutional neural network artificial intelligence network, was applied to transfer the photographed image data. The clothing image dataset was classified into two categories (shirtwaist, trousers): 900 clean images, 900 loss images, and total 1800 images. The classification measurement results showed that the accuracy of the clean clothing image was about 97.78%. In conclusion, the study confirmed the applicability of other objects using artificial intelligence networks on the Internet of Things based platform through the measurement results and the supplementation of more image data in the future.
Deep learning-based image processing is essential for autonomous vehicles. To process road images in real-time in a System-on-Chip (SoC) environment, we need to execute deep learning models on a NPU (Neural Procesing Units) specialized for deep learning operations. In this study, we imported seven open-source image processing deep learning models, that were developed on GPU servers, to Texas Instrument Deep Learning (TIDL) NPU environment. We confirmed that the models imported in this study operate normally in the SoC virtual environment through performance evaluation and visualization. This paper introduces the problems that occurred during the migration process due to the limitations of NPU environment and how to solve them, and thereby, presents a reference case worth referring to for developers and researchers who want to port deep learning models to SoC environments.

In order to find objects in an image through deep learning technology, an image dataset for learning is required. In order to increase the recognition rate of objects, a large amount of image learning data is required. It is difficult for individuals to build large amounts of datasets because it is expensive. This paper introduces a method for more easily constructing an image dataset including several sides of an object by photographing a rotating image. A method of constructing a dataset by placing an object on a rotating plate, photographing it, and dividing and synthesizing the captured images according to the needs is proposed.

CNN (Convolutional Neural Network), a type of deep learning algorithm, is a type of artificial neural network used to analyze visual images. In deep learning, it is classified as a deep neural network and is most commonly used for visual image analysis. Accordingly, an AI autonomous driving model was constructed through real-time image processing, and a crosswalk image of a road was used as an obstacle. In this paper, we proposed a low-cost model that can actually implement autonomous driving based on the CNN model. The most well-known deep neural network technique for autonomous driving is investigated and an end-to-end model is applied. In particular, it was shown that training and self-driving on a simulated road is possible through a practical approach to realizing lane detection and keeping.
