이동로봇을 위한 구조광 영상기반 거리측정 (Distance Measurement Based on Structured Light Image for Mobile Robots)

  • In this paper, we address an active ranging system based on laser structured light image for mobile robot application. Since the burdensome correspondence problem is avoidable, the structured light image processing has efficient computation in comparison with the conventional stereo image processing. By using a cylindrical lens in the laser generation, it is possible to convert a point laser into a stripe laser without motorized scan in the proposed system. In order to achieve robustness against environmental illumination noise, we propose an efficient integro-differential image processing algorithm. The proposed system has embedded image processing module and transmits distance data to reduce the computational burden in main control system.

  • This paper presents a 3d image processing which uses neural networks to combine a 2D vision camera and a laser slit beam. A laser slit beam from laser source is slitted by a set of cylindrical lenses and the line image of the slit beam on the object is used to estimate the object parameters. The neural networks allow to get the 3D image parameters such as the size, the position and the orientation form the line image without knowing the camera intrinsic parameters.

  • In this paper, we present the new method for joint aspect inspecting system. We use the image processing and laser maker for light source. We can find the matrial joint status through processing the line pattern which is made by laser maker. To get the line pattern, in first, we did the preprocess of threshold. If the shape of line had over two segments, then the joint status is abnormal. We show our system efficency by experiment on tire facility.

  • 본 연구에서는 영상처리를 이용하여 레이저 포인터를 연구하였다. 레이저 포인터는 영상처리로 빛을 추적하고, 추적된 신호를 송신부에 (레이저 포인터) 수신한다. 레이저 포인터에 수신된 영상신호 이용하여 마우스 기능 및 지우기, 쓰기, 창 변환, 글씨 색 변경을 실행한다. 즉, 한 자리에서 포인터와 마우스 기능을 실행할 수 있는 스마트 레이저 포인터 시스템을 연구하였다.

용접선 추적 비전장치를 이용한 원형-사각 파이프의 T형 조인트 레이저용접 (T-joint Laser Welding of Circular and Square Pipes Using the Vision Tracking System)

  • Because of its fast and precise welding performance, laser welding is becoming a new excellent welding method. However, the precise focusing and robust seam tracking are required to apply laser welding to the practical fields. In order to laser weld a type of T joint like a circular pipe on a square pipe, which could be met in the three dimensional structure such as an aluminum space frame, a visual sensor system was developed for automation of focusing and seam tracking. The developed sensor system consists of a digital CCD camera, a structured laser, and a vision processor. It is moved and positioned by a 2-axis motorized stage, which is attached to a 6 axis robot manipulator with a laser welding head. After stripe-type structured laser illuminates a target surface, images are captured through the digital CCD camera. From the image, seam error and defocusing error are calculated using image processing algorithms which includes efficient techniques handling continuously changed image patterns. These errors are corrected by the stage off-line during welding or teaching. Laser welding of a circular pipe on a square pipe was successful with the vision tracking system by reducing the path positioning and de focusing errors due to the robot teaching or a geometrical variation of specimens and jig holding.

레이저 구조광 영상기반 거리측정 센서 개발 (Development of Ranging Sensor Based on Laser Structured Light Image)

  • In this study, an embedded ranging system based on a laser structured light image is developed. The distance measurement by the structured light image processing has efficient computation because the burdensome correspondence problem is avoidable. In order to achieve robustness against environmental illumination noise and real-time laser structured light image processing, a bandpass optical filter is adopted in this study. The proposed ranging system has an embedded image processor performing the whole image processing and distance measurement, and so reduces the computational burden in the main control system. A system calibration algorithm is presented to compensate for the lens distortion.

But this vision sensor cannot satisfy new trend which feeds foster and more precise processing. The sensor's sampling rate increases as reduced image processing time. However, the sampling rate can not over 30fps, because a camera has mechanical sampling limit. If we use multi line laser pattern, we will measure multi range data in one image. In the case of using same sampling rate camera, number of 2D range data profile in one second is directly proportional to laser line's number. For example, the vision sensor using 5 laser lines can sample 150 profiles per second in best condition.

  • This paper presents a laser cutting of 2D image. 2D image in pixel graphic format is converted into vector graphic image by image processing. Bitmap graphics are made easily, but can not being used in application works for geometry transition. The Sobel's Edge detection method is used to find boundary points on 2D image. The points are fitted into curves with sampling and filtering. Sampling can provide efficient computation and filtering reconstuct features in image. The NC code is generated on MURBS curve of the points. Also, the offset of contour and cutting conditions are considered.

  • 레이저 스펙클이란 간섭성을 가진 레이저 빛을 산란체에 쏘았을 때 반사되는 정보를 레이저 스펙클이라 한다. 이 레이저 스펙클의 가장 큰 특징은 현재 의학 기술로는 볼 수 없는 미세혈관 관찰이 가능하다는 것이다. 미세혈관 관찰을 위해서 레이저 스펙클 장치로 얻은 이미지를 영상처리 하는 과정이 필요하다. 이 논문은 공간적 방향으로 다양한 크기의 윈도우를 적용시키는 새로운 영상처리법을 제안하였다. 기존의 영상처리법 LASCA에서는 고정된 크기의 윈도우를 적용시켜 영상처리 하였다. 하지만 작은 크기의 윈도우를 적용하였을 경우 이미지의 공간 해상도가 좋아 혈관이 잘 보이는 장점이 있지만 스펙클 노이즈의 영향을 많이 받게되는 반면 큰 크기의 윈도우를 적용하였을 경우 노이즈 제거에는 큰 효과를 보지만 해상도가 낮아져 영상이 흐릿해지는 현상을 발견할 수 있다. 그래서 우리는 이 두가지 방법의 장점만 살리는 적응 윈도우 기법을 소개한다. 우리는 적응 윈도우 기법과 기존의 라스카 이미지를 비교하여 보일 것이며 적응 윈도우 기법을 이용해 영상의 화질을 높인 것을 보일 것이다.
