사업체 급식소 영양사 직무분석 ( 제 2 보 ) : 업무수행시간 및 적정인원산출 (Developing standardized dietetic staffing indices in employee foodservice by job analysis methodology)

  • The purposes of this study were to : a) investigate actual time spent and expected labor time spent on management activities, and b) develop standardized indices of dietetic staffing needs in employee foodservice. A job analysis questionnaires were developed and mailed to 65 dietitians who were members of The Korean Dietetic Association Practice Group, members with management responsibilities in employee foodservices. Completed questionnaires were received from 32 dietitians for a response rate of 49%. The questionnaire contained two parts with a total of 99 statements. Statistical data analysis was completed using the SAS programs for descriptive analysis, wilcoxon signed ranks test, wilcoxon rank sum test, and pearson correlation. The results of this study can be summarized as follows. 1. The actual time spent on management activities by dietitians in employee foodservice was 69.80 hours and expected labor time spent was 61.81 hours. And they were significantly different (p<0.05). 2. ILO allowance rate( 11%) was applied: The standardized working hours per week of dietitians working in employee foodservice with manufacturing and industrial plants, and office building were 79.61 and 64.25 respectively ; Staffing need indices were 1.81 and 1.46 respectively on the base of 44 working hours. 3.   • The purposes of this study were to : a)determine the percentage of labor activities expen-ded in various work functionsof hospital foodservice b)estimate the labor time utilized in each work functions c)investigate the overall work patterns of hospital foodservice and d)provide the basic data for effective labor control This study was conducted in two hospitals with 1300 and 1200 ed capacities and every employees of the dietary department were included in 10days work measurement. Work sampling methodology developed by Donaldson and Ostenso was modified and used for observing overall activities of hospital dietary department. Consistency of data and observa-tion period were verified by 3$\delta$ control chart and control chart. Observed data were satisfied with confidence level of 95% and confidence interval of $\pm$0.05, The results of this study were as follows: 1) The direct work function indirect work function and delay were 74.8%, 9.2%, 16.0% respectively with A hospital and 82.2% 7.2%, 10.6% respectively with B hospital 2) The productivity indices of direct work indirect work and delay were 9.05 min/meal 1.12 min/meal 1.94 min/meal respectively and total 12.11 minutes were utilized per meal served in A hospital and 10.72 min/meal 0.94 min/meal 1.38 min/meal respectively and total 13.04 minutes were utilized per meal served in B hospital 3) Full time equivalent(FTE) utilized in daily work of irect work indirect work and delay were 62.24 men 7.69 men 13.35 men respectively in A hospital and 64.09 men 5.63 men 8.22 men respectively in B hospital. 4) The contents of work activities of each employee group showed that delay time of the service personnel group was more than any other employee groups in both A hospital and B hospital 5) Examination of daily work schedule by time intervals showed that transportation work function was carried out all day so it is necessary to improve this work.

한국 농촌여성의 경제적 역할 변화에 대한 사례연구 -충청북도 청원군 산마을을 중심으로- (Changes of Rural women's Economic Role in a Korean Village -The Case of San Village-)

  • This Study is designed to present the concret data on the contents of the economic role and their change in the recent decade among women in a Korean Village. The Case Study method was used and the data was obtained through the participant observation. This Study is composed of the three parts. The first part deals with the effect of the agricultural mechanization upon the agricultural labor pattern of women. The second part examines how the introduction of a golf course and the textile factory in the vinicity affects the labor pattern among village women. The last part tries to demonstrate that the increasing contribution of women to the village economy has not yet produced any positive effect to their social status in the village. This is seen through the detailed description of two important village activities, one social(Tae dong-Gae) and the other ritual (Mokshinjae). The Results of the Study can be summarized as fallows. Firstly, the mechanization of farming is responsible for the increasing marginalization of women's labor in farming. This is particularly true for rice cultivation. Horticulture is still cultivated by women. As the mechanization progresses further, this trend will be more articulated. Secondly, it is found that women are actively utilizing the new external economic opportunities. In fact they are found to prefer those non-farming works to the traditional farming work. The former offers them less burdened work, less working hours, and more income than the letter. Lastly, women are found to be completely excluded from the process of the two important village activities. Only men are participants in them, and women only provides the labor for preparation of food and the necessary chores.

  • The small group activities (SGA) was introduced into some of enterprises in Korea in 1967 and plant division, Saemaul undong Headquarters had encouraged Quality Control Circles (QCC) within the manufacturing corporations in assistance of central government. Registered small groups as of august 31, 1984 amounted up to 78,243 units and the number of members were 791,512. Meanwhile, small and medium industries have mostly introduced small group activities considerably later and less actively managed than large business. Main reasons for the less effectiveness of the activities are due to lack of management skills and less awareness of it from management and workers group. Effective small group activities are presumed to be successful only with labor management cooperation on the basis of human-oriented management philosophy. The small group activities are also prevalent in service sector. More derivative methods have been developed and more members are willingly participating in training programs. The small group which is basically a horizontal organization unit, promotes communication within the whole organization. In consideration of the social circumstances and traditions, the flexible model of the small group activities suitable to the corporate environment, will contribute to industrial development.

워크샘플링에 의한 사업체 급식소 영양사 업무 분석 및 소요시간 산출 (Work Analysis and Time Measurement of Dietians in Employee Feeding Facilities by Work Sampling Methodology)

  • The purposes of this study were to: a) investigate the percentage distribution and the time spent of dietetic activities and b) estimate dietitian's staffing needs in employee foodservices. In 6 employee foodservices, the dietetic activities were analyzed by work sampling methodology. The results of this study were as follows: 1. The percentage distributions of dietetic activities, delay and non-dietetic activities were 79.06, 20.39, and 1.55%, respectively; 2. The major activities of dietitians in employee foodservice were production management 21.00%, purchasing management 16.73%, record keepig 14.40%, and menu management 6.30%, 3. The total labor time per week was 3,310 min (55.16 hr) and specially the time spent on 13 dietetic activities was 2,626 min (43.77 hr). 4. The time spent per week on major activities of dietitians such as production management, purchasing management record keeping, and menu management were 693.93, 554.83, 483.99, and 205.22 min, respectively.

일부 생산직 여성근로자의 월경곤란증에 관한 연구 (A study on dysmenorrhea of women labor workers)

  • This study was conducted to investigate the prevalence of dysmenorrhea in women labor workers The subjects were 327 women labor workers in the area of Kyunggi. Kyungsang and Chunla Provinclils. The data were collected from 20. January to 20. February. 1999 by using self-administered structured questionnaires. The contents of, questionnaire were composed of demographic(3 items). work related(2 items). life style (6 items), obstetric-menstrual(8 items) characteristics. and experiences of dysmenorrhea(6 items). The results were as follows 1. Prevalence rate of dysmenorrhea was $76.8\%$. Among women who had dysmenorrhea. $52.0\%$ of them had family history on dysmenorrhea. $46.0\%$ of them experienced limitation of daily activities. $18.3\%$ of them have started the dysmenorrhea since their employment present company. and $8.8\%$ of them visited hospital due to dysmenorrhea of the subjects who took analgesics for relieving menstrnal pain. $7.2\%$ had no effect. 2. The frequency of dysmenorrhea was significantly different by educational level. working period. and the amount of mentrual flow.

사무직 기혼여성부부의 생활시간구조 분석 (Time Use of Married Female Clerical Workers and Their Husbands)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate time use of married female clerical workers and their husbands. Data for 143 couples were gathered from using structured questioinaire and time dairy. The analysis of time use data was carried out two approaches. They are the amount of time spent and the distribution of time for dailly activities. And also the couples' perceptions how restricted their long time labor to their family life was analyzed. The results were shown as follows: (1) Married female clerical workers and their husbands have long labor time and their physiological and leisure time is too short. This means the patterns of their time use are very unbalanced type. (2) Wives worked longer than husbands on total labor with a large sexual difference in household works.(3) Couples perceived that wives' work more negative affection on their family life than husbands' work.

산업내 전직율이 기업 R&D 투자에 미치는 영향에 대한 연구 (Effects of Intra-industry Labor Mobility on Firms' R&D Intensity)

  • This paper shows that labor mobility is positively related to R&D intensity at the industry level in Korea. Different from the perception based on individual firm-level studies arguing that firms can be reluctant to R&D in fear of the job transfer of employees, firms in industries which have high job transfer of employees turn out not to reduce investment in R&D. This result is also confirmed by 2SLS regression. This result supports that, if there exist spillover effects through the job transfer of employees, job transfer can positively contribute to R&D activities.

수출입과 기업의 노동수요 (International Trade and Labor Demand of Korean Firms: Focusing on Heterogeneous Firm Productivity)

  • 본 연구는 국제무역에 참여하고 있는 우리나라의 기업들을 대상으로 수출입이 기업의 노동수요에 미치는 영향을 살펴보았다. 통계청의 기업활동조사 데이터를 이용하여 2006년부터 2014년까지 제조업 24개 업종에 속해 있는 기업들의 수출입이 노동수요에 미치는 영향을 시스템 GMM 방법을 사용하여 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 생산성이 높은 기업에서는 수출이 늘어나면서 생산 확대를 위한 노동수요가 창출되는 효과가 나타난 반면 생산성이 낮은 기업에서는 이러한 효과가 유의하게 나타나지 않았다. 그러나 기업이 오프쇼어링을 이용하여 국내업무를 해외로 재배치한 경우, 수출이 유발하는 노동수요 증가 효과가 축소되는 것으로 분석되었다. 한편, 수입증대는 기업의 노동수요를 감소시키는 것으로 나타나는 데, 이는 수입제품이 노동을 대체하는 효과 때문인 것으로 보인다. 반면 기업이 오프쇼어링을 이용하는 경우, 생산 효율성 증대로 수입의 노동수요 감소효과가 완화되는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과는 수출입이 기업의 고용에 미치는 영향은 기업의 생산성 및 글로벌 아웃소싱 참여 여부에 따라 달라질 수 있음을 시사한다.

Occupational Safety and Health Activities Conducted across Countries in Asia

  • Three occupational safety and health (OSH) activities, one international and two national workshops, were documented as part of OSH activities conducted under the International Labor Organization/Korea Partnership Program in the year 2011-2012. This study aimed to provide information on what the three OSH activities were implemented and how they contributed to the improvement of OSH in Asian countries. The international workshop was useful for the participants to understand a variety of information on OSH as well as participatory action-oriented training (PAOT) approaches at the regional and global levels. The two national workshops were practical for participants to strengthen their knowledge and skills on the PAOT at the enterprise and national levels. The study shows that the three OSH activities contributed to the understanding of the participants on OSH and PAOT, and that the activities promoted the improvement of OSH across countries in Asia.
