공급자 개발을 위한 지식이전활동에서의 영향요인, 지식변화속도 그리고 성과 (Antecedents, Knowledge Change Speed, and Performance in Knowledge Transfer Activities for Supplier Development)

  • Rapid knowledge change, heightened competition. and shortened product life cycles are just a few of the constants faced by many buying firms in today's markets. Many buying firms have responded to these conditions by outsourcing non-core activities. The Quality and cost of a product or service offered in the market is a function, not only of the capabilities of the firm, but also of the network of suppliers who provide inputs to the firm. When a firm finds its suppliers lacking in performance it can help suppliers to develop their capabilities. There are three main goals for this study. The first goal is to identify the important factors that precede and influence firms' investment in knowledge transfer activities. The second goal is to investigate the relationship between knowledge transfer activities and the consequences of knowledge transfer activities. The last goal is to explore the effects of knowledge change speed. To analyze the validity of the research model and the hypotheses. the data are collected from 238 manufacturing firms through the administration of structured Questionnaires. The results of structural equation model analyses indicate that the model is generally valid and 11 of 14 hypotheses are supported by the data. Reasons for and implications of these observed relationships are discussed.

  • 본 연구는 지식이전 과정에서 조직 구성원의 사회네트워크 특성과 지식이전 성과 간 관계를 실증 분석하였다. 특히 사회적 구조와 사회적 관계라는 두 관계를 동시에 고려하여 지식이전에 관한 새로운 관점의 모형을 제시하였다. 본 연구모형의 주요 구성개념인 구성원간의 사회적 관계 강도, 지식이전, 성과 그리고 지식특성을 통합하여 실증 분석하였다. 이를 위하여 국내 기업 및 관공서 총 52개 조직의 296개의 설문을 최종 연구모형 분석에 이용, 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 사회적 관계의 강도는 지식이전에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 검증되었으며, 이때 내집단의 관계강도가 외집단 관계강도보다 지식이전에 보다 유의한 영향력을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 지식이전은 모든 성과(개인, 팀, 조직)에 긍정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 파악되었다. 셋째, 응용지는 내집단 관계강도와 지식이전의 간의 관계를 강화하는 것으로 나타나, 응용지의 조절효과를 확인하였다.

Systematic Review of Sustainable Knowledge Transfer Process in Government-Industry-Academia Consortium

  • The purpose of this case study is to understand the sustainability practices of knowledge transfer process at the Malaysian government-industry-academia consortium. At this stage in the research, the R&D consortium is defined as an established entity by two or more organizations that pool resources and shared decision making for cooperative research and development activities. In attempts to understand the formation, outcomes and sustainability of the sustainable knowledge transfer process, this paper conducted a systematic literature review based on Gough, Oliver and Thomas systematic reviews protocol. From the review, the data were enriched and enhanced with a better understanding of sustainable knowledge transfer process. The systematic review resulted in identifying six factors including internal and external perspectives. However, key sustainability factors are not only directly influencing KTP, and the consortium, but are also mediated by other organisational variables.

간호장교 리더십 유형과 지식이전의 관계 - 직무특성의 조절효과를 중심으로 - (A Study on the Relationship between Nursing Officer's Leadership Style and Knowledge Transfer - Focused on Moderating Effect of Job Characteristics -)

  • Purpose : This study attempted to find out the relationship between leadership style, knowledge transfer in nursing officers' job, considering the task characteristics. Methods : The data were collected from the military hospital during November 1st to November 17th, 2008 using a structured questionnaire and analyzed with the statistical method of frequency, correlation, and regression analysis, in SPSS 12.0 program package. Results/Conclusion : The results of empirical analysis shows that the levels of job tension and job focused task domain affect the job characteristics of the nursing officers' organization. The job characteristics have a moderating effect on the relationship between leadership style and knowledge transfer. The research is very useful in finding out the job characteristics which well depict military nursing organizations. This research suggests that a desirable leadership styles affect the knowledge transfer in the job characteristics type.

  • 오늘날과 같은 지식기반 산업에 있어서 지식은 기업의 경쟁력을 좌우하는 중요한 요인이라고 할 수 있다. 최근 국내 건설기업의 경우 기술력 제고와 정부의 부동산 규제정책에 따른 건설경기의 하락과 내수시장의 지속적인 불황으로 국내 외의 많은 불안정적인 요인들로 인해 어려움을 겪고 있다. 본 논문은 이러한 국내 건설업체들의 문제점을 해결하기 위해 기업조직이 보유한 조직지식의 속성이 조직 내 지식획득, 이전, 활용과 경영성과에 어떠한 영향을 주는지를 알아보고자 하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 구조방정식 모형을 이용하여 국내 건설업체들이 조직지식 속성의 내부 요인들이 지식의 획득, 이전. 활용과 경영 성과에 어떠한 영향을 주는지를 실증분석 하였다. 본 연구의 결과 국내 건설업체들의 경우 기업지식의 속성이 지식획득, 이전, 활용에 유의한 영향을 미치며, 지식이전은 경영 성과에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인하였다.

  • Multinational Corporations (MNCs) are establishing globally-distributed R&D centers around the world. Firms can overcome resource constraints and achieve superior innovative performance not only by using internal resources but also acquiring knowledge from oversea R&D centers. This paper explores the key factors that have been cited as significant influences on the ability to transfer knowledge, an important area of knowledge management of MNCs. Also, we identify the emerging outcomes in terms of R&D transfer and for the education, employment, and retention of knowledge works in MNCs. The result will be helpful for both MNC's managers and governments' decision makers with respect to R&D centers.

역지식이전에서 지식의 원천과 현지 시장 지식 간 관계에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Relationship between Knowledge Sources and Local Market Knowledge in Reverse Knowledge Transfer)

  • The purpose of this study is to classify the types of local market knowledge and knowledge sources in reverse knowledge transfer and analyze their relevance. To do so, first, we searched for papers related to the types of local knowledge published in 9 international business academic journals between 1988 and 2020, and derived four types of local market knowledge. Second, in order to classify the source of knowledge, we searched for papers related to network types published in 9 international business academic journals between 1988 and 2020, and divided them into 4 types to derive characteristics. Third, by examining the types of local market knowledge that can be obtained according to network types, a conceptual model was developed between them, and the suitability between local market knowledge and sources of knowledge was revealed through empirical analysis. Through empirical research on what kind of knowledge can be obtained depending on the knowledge sources, various business and academic implications can be provided to many companies.

중소기업의 지식경영이 구성원의 혁신활동에 미치는 효과 (The Effect of Knowledge Management on the Innovation Activities of Employee in Small Business)

  • This paper reviewed the two proposed hypotheses. The first hypothesis is to test the relationship between knowledge management and incremental innovation, and the second hypothesis is to test the moderating effect of firm-size on that relationship. Data were gathered from 434 employees in service industry, and multiple regression analysis was used to test two proposed hypotheses. In the first hypothesis, it was appeared that knowledge acquisition and knowledge transfer have positive effects on all incremental innovation factors (process innovation, operation innovation, service innovation). In the second hypothesis, it was appeared that firm-size has an positive interaction effect on incremental innovation in knowledge transfer, but not in knowledge acquisition. It means that knowledge transfer has more positive effect on incremental innovation in large firm-size than in small firm-size.

학습 전이에 있어서 유추 거리와 지식의 영향 (Influence of Analogy Distance and Mathematical Knowledge in Transfer of Learning)

  • 본 연구는 유추 거리 및 수학적 지식과 학습의 전이 사이의 관계를 규명하기 위해 수행되었다. 구체적으로 유추적 거리에 따라 구분된 세 가지 전이 문제 해결에서 차이를 보이는지, 그리고 각 전이 문제를 성공적으로 해결하는데 기여하는 수학적 지식은 무엇인지를 분석하였다. 분석 결과 세 가지 종류의 전이 문제 해결에서 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보였으며 유추 거리가 증가할수록 성공률은 점차적으로 감소하였다. 또한 사실 지식 보다는 개념적 지식이 전이 문제를 해결하는데 긍정적으로 기여하였다. 이상의 결과를 토대로 본 연구는 학습의 전이를 위해 수학 수업은 어떠한 점에 초점을 맞추어야 하는지, 그리고 유추 거리라는 새로운 구인을 찾고 그것이 전이에 미치는 영향을 실증적으로 규명했다는 점에서 의의를 찾을 수 있었다.

  • Technology transfer is recognized as a critical issue to strengthen industri competitiveness in today's global and knowledge-based economies. The vertical transfer of technology from R&D labs to industries is becoming more emphasized than the horizontal company-to-company transfer of commercialized technology. The network and cooperation among technology transfer intermediaries are becoming more important with the increasing demand of the comprehensive technology transfer services. This paper presents the configuration models for technology transfer from universities and research institutes to industries. The configuration models are classified and discussed from the viewpoint of information flow, and also technology and knowledge transfer.
