The study investigated the effect of food safety knowledge, food safety trust and the factors influencing organic food purchase intention in the 'new normal' of the COVID-19 pandemic. The study employed non-contrived and cross-sectional methods. The data was collected in Malaysia using convenience sampling. A total of 330 valid questionnaires were analyzed using Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) and PROCESS for hypothesis testing. The study revealed a significant relationship involving food safety knowledge on personal attitude, perceived social pressure, and perceived autonomy. Moreover, organic food purchase intention was found to be influenced by personal attitude, perceived social pressure, and perceived autonomy. Interestingly, trust in organic food safety moderated the relationship between perceived autonomy and organic food purchase intention. The study proved valuable for stakeholders and organic food producers to understand the 'new normal' COVID-19 market scenario for a sound understanding of the market and the sustainability of the organic food industry. A new research framework is proposed and validated, related to individual purchase decision in global health issues which is limited in current literature. Hence, the study contributed to a better comprehension of green consumerism mainly in the Asian market.

Floods are the most common natural disasters and are annually causing severe destructions worldwide. Human activities, along with expected increased extreme precipitation patterns as a result of climate change enhance the future potential of floods. There are proven evidence that infrastructure based responses to flood disaster is no longer achieving optimum mitigation and have created a false sense of security. Nature-based solutions(NBS) is a widely accepted sustainable and efficient approach for disaster risk reduction and involves the protection, restoration, or management of natural and semi-natural ecosystems to tackle the climate and natural crisis. Adoption of NBS in decision-making, especially in developing nations is limited due to a lack of sufficient scenario-based studies, research, and technical knowledge. This study explores the knowledge gap and challenges on NBS adoption with case study of developing nation, specially for flood management, by the study of multiple scenario analysis in the context of climate, land-use change, and policies. Identification and quantification of the strength of natural ecosystems for flood resilience and water management can help to prioritize NBS in policymaking leading to sustainable measures for integrated flood management.
To develop an Enterprise Data Model in Information Strategy Planning, it is essential that we first decide on the critical entities that need to be consistently managed in the enterprise. Identifying entities is a very crucial decision that has much influence on the subsequent phases in Information Engineering. Nevertheless, it is very subjective and usually depends on a decision makers experience and his/her own knowledge. In this paper, we propose a decision support system called CB*IMSS, which employs Case-Based Reasoning as the problem solution technique. By retrieving, analyzing and adapting some similar previous cases with a decision makers enterprise situations, this system can help them identify and decide the critical entities required for successful performance of the ISP.
Free burning arcs where the work piece acts as an anode are frequently used for a number of applications. Our investigation is exclusively concerned with a simplified unified model of arcs and anode under steady state conditions at atmospheric pressure. The model is used to make predictions of arc and anode temperatures and arc voltage for a 200 A arc in argon. The computed temperatures along the axis between the cathode tip and the anode surface compare well the measured data. This knowledge of free burning arcfeatures can play a role in developing the atmospheric plasma systems, however, further investigation should include the modelling of Cu evaporation from anode and non-LTE situation near electrodes for more realistic calculations.
A better knowledge of emission inventories can serve several important functions such as provision of public information, identification of primary sources, assessment of temporal and spatial trend, and analysis for national modelling studies. The purpose of this paper is to propose the new air emission source categories on the basis of the Korea Standard Industrial Classification. Hence, the paper focuses on reviewing and comparing the air emission sources categories of USEPA, and EU. The new emission source categories compose Tiers 1, 2, and 3. For Tier 1, there are 14 categories; fuel combustion-utilities, industries, and heating and others, chemical and allied product manufacturing, metals processing, and petroleum and related industries, etc. Tier 2 consists of small categories classified minutely in Tier 1. Tier 3 connects the categories of Tier 2 with the Korea Standard Industrial Classification.
The European Common Barnacle Balanus perforatus Brugiere (Crustacea, Cirripedia) has been introduced into the east coast of Korea, presumably via the ballast water of ships. The species has since been spreading along both the northern and southern coast to the east, most likely due to alongshore currents. We predicted the potential range expansion of Balanus perforatus in Korean waters using Genetic Algorithm for Rule-set Prediction (GARP), an environmental niche modeling technique. The results show that much of the southern coastal waters of Korea could be colonized by the spread of the nonindigenous species, but that the west coast is unlikely to be invaded. More sampling on the west coast would enhance the predictability of the model. To our knowledge, this is the first report of its kind for predicting marine nonindigenous species in Korean waters using GARP modeling.
An ergonomic evaluation model which can properly evaluate the design of a product or workplaces was developed to evaluate a new product in the early stage of design. Although several evaluation models have been developed and are in use in the field of ergonomics, they lack an integrated framework and analysis techniques. In this research, an ergonomic evaluation model was developed according to the framework which accommodates desirable components of the model. The framework represents the integration of four components: man model, workplace modeller, ergonomic evaluation functions and knowledge bases, which interact with a common object-oriented database. Components were developed individually and integrated with the workplace modeller. The generation and manipulation of man models, workplace modelling, and ergonomic evaluation features such as reach and visibility were implemented. The developed evaluation model has demonstrated distinct advantages of the flexibility to adapt another features for the ergonomic evaluation model and the better usability for users.
There is still a lack of knowledge and modelling relating to shear behaviour in reinforced concrete beams. The reason is that shear loading leads to complicated physical mecanisms, such as interlock action, dowel action, etc. Therefore, It is difficult that we make the ideal model of shear behaviour, while Truss model theory has been made good use of shear design because of simplicity and reasonableness. In this study, 6 T-type reinforced concrete beams were designed and made based on the two truss models, i.e, the plasticity truss model and the compatibility truss model, to observe shear strength of concrete and stress distribution of stirrups. 6 beams test pieces were tested with the following testing parameters. 1) specified concrete strength ; 270kg/$\textrm{cm}^2$, 400kg/$\textrm{cm}^2$ 2) with and without the steel fiber.
For a robotic workcell, which consists of multiple robots, several interconnection methods are presented in terms of the processor based architecture. Since few attempts have been made to formulate and analyze multiple robot system(MRS), we turn the knowledge of multiple processor system(MPS) or multiple computer system(MCS) to good account. The performance evaluation is achieved through queueing analysis, the aim being to compare their response time, utilization, probability of service failure under different workload. To verify the validity of the proposed analysis methods, a computer simulation is performed. The results together with comments presented here give some useful guidelines for the selection of an appropriate interconnection method.
In this study, a CAD/CAM system for axisymmetric deep drawing processes has been developed. An approach to the system is based on the knowledge based system. Under the environment of CAD/CAM software of Personal Designer, the system has been written in UPL. The geometries of intermediate and final object in deep drawing process, including processes parameters are input for the CAD/CAM system. The input data can be obtained from the results of Pro-Deep. The parts drawing of die sets for each process is generatedin tool design module of the CAD/CAM system. Also, the die assemblydrawings can be obtained. NC commands for machining of the part can be generated in the developed CAD/CAM system.
