The development of information and communication technology and COVID-19 have caused an unusual change in the hotel industry, and the demand for the contactless services such as service robots from hotel customers has surged. Therefore, this study investigates the perception of hotel customers on contactless services by applying a mixed-method analysis. Specifically, this study identified the causal correlations between variables through the structural equation model, and further applied the fuzzy set qualitative comparison analysis to derive patterns of variables that form the intention to use the non-face-to-face services. As a result of the analysis, it was shown that service experience co-creation, palyfulness, personalization, and trust had a significant effect on intention to use through the contactless service use desire. On the other hand, in the results of fuzzy-set qualitative comparison analysis, playfulness was derived as a core factor in all patterns. Based on these analysis results, this study provides academic basis for in-depth understanding of hotel customers' perception of contactless service and specific guidelines for hotel managers on the contactless service strategies in the era of COVID-19 pandemic.
This study aims to identify the main factors that caused the digital divide during the COVID-19 pandemic. Utilizing data from the 2020 and 2021 Digital Divide Surveys by the National Information Agency, a research model was constructed for analysis using SmartPLS 4, applying PLS-SEM and Multigroup Analysis methods. The results of the study are as follows. First, combining 2020 and 2021, mobile internet usage during COVID-19 is positively associated with digital skills, digital usage, and usage outcomes except for networking. Second, the impact of digital usage was significantly higher during the outbreak than during the beginning of COVID-19, which may be due to the increased demand for digital usage as the outbreak continued, and the corresponding increase in internet usage. Third, we discovered that demographics are not the main factor affecting changes in mobile internet use during the COVID-19 pandemic. Instead, digital literacy affects mobile usage, which is the most important one. The results show the importance of creating programs to teach people how to use technology appropriately. We propose that digital literacy should be central to training programs for people who use digital services.

The Mangi yoram("萬機要覽"), a guidebook of state affairs, was published by royal command in the late Joseon period. Its chapters on financial affairs(財用篇) are particularly remarkable, as they explain on all aspects of the national finance of the late Joseon period in a clear manner. The financial part of the Mangi yoram includes metallic mineral resources, such as the location of gold, silver, copper, lead deposits and the prosperity and decline of the mines, and the various uses of each of the minerals. These are still regarded as valuable resources. Its contents on agricultural geography comprise not only the total yearly output of grains, paddyfields and dryfields, their taxation and standards of taxation, but also ginseng which was famous in the outside world in the pre-modern era. The book also clearly explains distribution of agricultural dikes for irrigation and their functions. The book also contains information on forestry geography, e.g. the varieties of pine trees and their distribution and mountain containment policies. Contents related to commercial geography consist of material on different types of markets such as the yukuijeon(六矣廛), sijeon(市廛), peongsisuh(平市署), nanjeon(亂廛), and the distribution, size and prosperity and decline of the border markets of the northern frontier such as the hoeryungkaesi(會寧開市) and geongwonkaesi(慶源開市). Contents related to transport geography are the distribution and functions of government granaries etc. Obviously, this book contains detailed information on various aspects of Korean geography. If we try to understand the contents of this book from the framework of modern geographical classification schemes, the geographic information contained in the book assumes even greater significance. In sum one may conclude that this book, which the king kept by his side, contained useful geography related knowledge and necessary information, and was directly relevant to the administration of the country. It exerted immense influence on the contemporary intellectual world of Joseon Korea, and was regarded as an invaluable resource.
In the highly competitive and divers world of financial market, customer is the single most important factor to company's survival. Especially, creating a relationship with valued customers is a key to success. CRM provides the mean to retain high value customers. It takes a prospect of what customers expect. Utilizing those knowledge can help the products and service meet the customers' needs, thereby maximizing customer satisfaction and company's profit. In this report, I am going to suggest a few ways to develop successful CRM in the life insurance industry. First, CRM should innovate the way of communication to keep pace with Web 2.0 era. In other words, the customer's needs should be caught by real-time communication than traditional off-line market research. Thus, the functionality and specification of products can be decided by customer's direct choice so that the customers are able to purchase the understanding and experience of the products. Second, CRM project should consider whether the initial strategy plan can promise the stable growth of customer at the first step. When planning strategy, the project needs to identify what customer wants and how to fulfill the needs with stable growth of the customer. In addition, the CRM should be developed by realizing that customer centric benefits ultimately guarantee the growth of the organization. Third, CRM systems should enhance the organization's ability to take the customer's insight in a 360 degree view and to capture the voice of the customer directly. In order to develop the best matched product package, more precise customer segmentation should be ahead of market segmentation strategy. Forth, the biggest reward from CRM will be a customer royalty program. Many successful banks are already planning and practicing customer royalty strategy. A comprehensive analysis of customers and their behavior allow organization to identify high value potential customers' needs and determine a strategy required to meet those needs. Even life insurance companies such as Prudential Korea are developing products designed for royal customers. Fifth, understanding and managing the experience of customer called Customer Experience Management also can increase customer satisfaction. Measuring only customers' experience and adapting it to marketing strategy make products position in the gap between the customers' expectation and experience not required by market. A key component of CEM is its application across all organizational functions. At last, the direction of change and development of CRM can be defined from the conceptualization of information technology represented by Ubiquitous and Web 2.0. Instead of just managing customer information, companies should take the initiative in personalized system with customer oriented strategy. Furthermore, with the regular communication between CRM stakeholders (Sales-Marketing-IT), customer's demand should be directly reflected to enterprise strategy in real time.
Although we have entered the era of digital transformation, there is currently no system that efficiently collects, manages, integrates, and services a large number of archaeological digital source materials produced as a result of cultural relics research, i.e., an intelligent integrated management and service platform for archaeological academic information. In this regard, the need to build a digital dictionary of Korean archaeology was confirmed by examining the problem of the Digital Encyclopedia of Korean Archaeology, which is currently available in PDF format on the web, the current status of the publication and use of the Dictionary of Korean Archaeology, and the cases of building digital platforms at home and abroad. Therefore, this paper aims to suggest a general direction for creating a digital encyclopedia of Korean archaeology based on the Dictionary of Korean Archaeology, which includes quality knowledge information, to reconsider the accessibility of archaeological data in conformity with data access limitations. The application of the series Dictionary of Korean Archaeology, published since 2001, and the necessity for digital transformation were examined, as well as the application of data from the archaeological data archiving platforms of Europe, the USA, Japan, and cases of establishing platforms corresponding to specialized encyclopedias from Korea. Based on these, a three-step implementation plan and detailed projects were suggested to create the Digital Encyclopedia of Korean Archaeology. Through this, we proposed the design of metadata for computerized records and the expansion to semantic (meaning-based) data that gives and shows the relationship information between the produced metadata as the implementation tasks to build the Digital Dictionary of Korean Archaeology. It is hoped that such research will help create an integrated intelligent management and service platform for archaeology, raise awareness, and provide a better understanding of Korean archaeology to the general public.
The purpose of this study is to explore some directions and alternatives for reforming the school education system, which is one of the core policy agendas of the Korean society that has met the upcoming 4th industrial revolution era and intelligence information society. Korean school education is a supplier-oriented system that does not take into consideration student's individual needs and aptitudes, and maintains uniform educational and learning practices while strengthening the characteristics of factory school model of the early 20th century. Especially, according to the excessive follow-up of the college entrance examination of the people the de-contextualization of knowledge and the instrumentation and learning of the education has been deepened. For the reform of the education system, first, it should transform the curriculum delegation system from the current administrative to teacher-based system. Second, we need to dismantle the bureaucratic corps of teacher that erodes the autonomy of the teacher and should establish the professional teacher system. Third, we should overcome egoism of each curriculum territory and reform the teacher education system. Fourth, it is necessary to overhaul the system of education and administrative bureaucracy as well as to overhaul the system of educational law. Fifth, it is necessary for the school administration to provide more effective communication between learners and teachers.

One of the goals of the new 2015 revised curriculum is to cultivate the creativity of students who will live in the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution to create new things through diverse ideas and challenges based on basic learning skills. Accordingly, in order to solve the given problems rationally, the convergence problem solving ability that can process and utilize various areas of knowledge and information is becoming important. Therefore, in this study, we designed the integrative education using a 3D printer based on Tinkercad modeling and applied it to the class to investigate the effect on the improvement of computing thinking ability of elementary school students. To verify the contents of the study, two classes of 25 sixth-grade elementary school students were divided into an experimental group and a controlled group. For the experimental group, 12 classes of convergence education programs using a 3D printer were applied for about three months, and the same amount of general curriculum was conducted for the control group. After that, the t-tests were carried out using the pre-post test to measure the effectiveness of the computational thinking ability. After the application of the program, the experimental group showed statistically significant improvement in computational thinking ability, but the controlled group showed no statistically significant difference. The results show that convergence education using the Tinkercad modeling-based 3D printer has a positive effect on the improvement of computing thinking ability of elementary school students.
The Fourth Industrial Revolution, which is based on the development of information and communication technology (ICT), is expected to replace human knowledge work, which will cause problems of mass unemployment and wide income gap from job polarization. Furthermore, the change is expected to be rapid and wide, demanding proactive measures to respond to such abrupt social changes. However, previous literatures assume that the traditional form of employment will continue and provide limited solutions only. On the other hand, the Fourth Industrial Revolution will enable transition to the Prosumer Economy, which will ultimately lead consumers to become producers through increased job flexibility. If the prosumer economy arrives and the consumers become producers, it will no longer be the matter of finding workplace but rather, the matter of finding the work itself. In this regard, the new technologies of the Fourth Industrial Revolution can be the fundamental solution to such job issues. This paper suggests stable transition to the Prosumer Economy in order to solve the job issues in the age of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. In order to effectively support the process, this paper suggests first, ensuring the amount of education by shortening labor time; second, facilitating life-time education through free online education service; and third, closing the digital divide through mandatory use of the e-government system.
Web Based Instruction has its theoretical background in constructivism paradigm of education. According to social changes called information era and thanks to the sophisticated internet mechanism the constructivism in education has been dominant paradigm. This study was inspired by the issue that the fundamentals of education have been overlooked, as today's smart education policies established in the knowledge-based information society of the 21st century have only focused on building digital environment and its efficiency. To carry out the study, the media education of Germany, which is equivalent of Korea's smart education, was analyzed to obtain implications for Korea's smart education. In Germany, the media education has been managed by the country ever since the information society has begun. Since 2009, the media education has become a requirement for all schools in every state. Thus, the current media education policy of each state has been analyzed, which revealed the following common characteristics. 1) The media education is closely linked to existing curriculum and education, rather than being conducted separately with different standards. 2) The media education is being conducted in a democratic manner by actively reflecting the exemplary cases of school teachers, rather than following the instructions and guidelines from the government. 3) The media education deals with the character and identity of young students, based on their basic understanding of information society, which are essential for a successful life in the upcoming society. Unlike the first and second implication linked to the method and procedure of media education policy, the third implication is the basic purpose of media education, which is also the key implication of this study. The media education policy of Germany, which is being conducted with its own educational philosophy, offers significant implications for Korea's smart education policy. In Korea, the education only revolves around device-based environment innovation or content development. It should be noted that the purpose of smart education is developing smart individuals who can bring better, happier, and more successful society - rather than establishing a smart environment. Therefore, the focus of discussion on Korea's smart education that revolves around environment, infrastructure, device utilization, and contents development should be changed to the character and identity of students, which are required in the future smart era. That's when 'human-based' educational revolution, instead of 'device-based' classroom revolution can begin.
