간호교육 철학정립 및 교육과정 개발을 위한 기초조사 (A Preliminary Study on Setting Philosophy and Curriculum Development in Nursing Education)

  • The purpose of this study is to guide the direction of the Korean nursing education to analysize ⑴ the philosophy and objectives ⑵ curriculum, and ⑶ educational environment. This analysis is based on the data from 50 nursing schools (14 4-year colleges and 35 3-year colleges) The survey was conducted from Dec. 1986 through Jan. 1987 by mail. 1) Educational philosophy and objectives 10 4-year colleges and 8 3-year college program have curricular philosoph. Most popular curricular philosophies are human beings, health, nursing, nursology, nursing education, nurses role in the present and in the future. 10 nursing schools mentioned that human being is the subject to interact with : environment physically, mentally and socially. 2 schools mentioned that health is the state of functioning well physically, mentally and socially. 13 schools mentioned that the nursing is the dynamic act to maintain and to promote the highest possible level of health. 4 schools mentioned that the nursology is an applied science. 4 schools mentioned that nursing education is the process to induce the behavioural changes based on the individual ability. There is different opinion about the nurses' role between 4-year college and 3-year college. In the responses from 4-year colleges they focus on the leadership in effective changes, self-regulating and self-determining responsibilities, applying the new technology, continuing education, and participation in research to further nursing knowledge. In the responses from 3-year colleges, they focus on the education in college, primary health care nursing, direct care provider and public health education. Among 50 respondents 40 schools have educational goals which can be divided into two categories. One is to establish the moral and the other is to develop the professionalism. 2) Curriculm The analsis of curriculum is only based on the data from the 4-year colleges because the most of 3-year colleges follow the curriculum guideline set by the Ministry of Education. a) Comparison of the credits in cultural subject and in nursing major. The average required credit for graduation is 154.6 and the median credit is the range of 140-149. The average credit of cultural subjects is 43.4. In detail, the average number of credit of required course and elective courses are 24.1 and 19.3 respectively. The average credit for major subject is 111.2. In detail, the average credit for required courses and electives course are 100.9 and 10.4 respectively. In 5 colleges, students are offered even on elective course b) Comparison of the credit by class. The average earned credits are as follows : 41.1 in freshman, 400 in sophormore 38.3 in junior and 32.4 in senior. Cultural subjects are studied in early phases. c) Comparison of the compulsory and elective cultural subject by institute. The range of credit is 7-43 in compulsory cultural subjects and there are lot of differences among institutions. While all respondents require liberal arts as compulsary subjects, few respondents lists social science, natural science and behavioral science as required subjects. Social science-related subjects are frequently chosen as cultural subjects d) Distribution of creditsin cultural subjects by institute. The liberal art subjects are taught in 20 institute. English and physical education courses are taught in all instituions. The social science subjects are taught in 15 colleges and the basic Psycology and the Basic sociology are the most popular subjects. The natural science subjects are taught in 7 colleges and Biology and Chemistry are the most popular subjects among them. e) Distribution of credits in major basic courses by institute. Most of the institutes select Anatomy, Microbiology, Physiology, biochemistry and Pathology as basic major courses. f) Comparison of the required and elective courses for nursing major by institutions. Subjects and credit ranges in major are varing by institute. More than half of the respondents select the following subjects as required major subjects. (1) Adults Health Nursing and Practice (19.5 credits) (2) Mother and Child Care and Practice (8.9 credits) (3) Community Health Care and Practice (8.5 credits) (4) Psychiatric Nursing Care and Practice (8.1 credits) (5) Nursing Management and Practice (3.9 credits) (6) Fundamental of Nursing, Nursing Research and Health Assessment and Practice. Three institutions select Introduction to nursing, Rehabilitation Nursing, School Nursing, Public Health Nursing, Nursing English, Communication, Human Development as electives in nursing major. 3) Educational environment a) Nursing institution There are forty-three 3-year colleges and seventeen 4-year colleges and 81.4% of which are private b) Number of students and faculty 19.2% of the students are in 4-year colleges and 80.8% of the students are in 3-year colleges. In 4-year colleges, the number of nursing faculty members is in the other of assistant professor, instructor and professor. In 3-year colleges, the orderiis lecturer, associate professor, full time instructor and assistant professor. In 4-year colleges, 18.8 students are allocated per nursing faculty and in 3-year colleges, 33.1 students are allocated per nursing faculty. c) Clinical practices 66.7% of the 4-year colleges practice over 1201 hours in clinic and 28.5% of 3-year colleges practice over 1201 hours in clinic. In 4-year colleges, 11.5 students are allocated per nursing faculty and in 3-year colleges,17 students are allocated per nursing faculty The survey shows no difference in the procedure between 4-year colleges and 3-year colleges but 3-year colleges choose the more variety practicing site such as special hospital and community health clinic. d) Audiovisual facilities The survey shows a lot of difference in audiovisual facilities among institution and 3-year colleges are less equipped than 4-year colleges.

가정간호 서비스 질 평가를 위한 도구개발연구 (A basic research for evaluation of a Home Care Nursing Delivery System)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop a basic framework and criteria for evaluation of quality care provided to patients with the attributes of disease in the home care nursing field, and to provide measurement tools for home health care in the future. The study design was a developmental study for evaluation of hospital-based HCN(home care nursing) in Korea. The study process was as follows: a home care nursing study team of College of Nursing. Yonsei University reviewed the nursing records of 47 patients who were enrolled at Yonsei University Medical Center Home Care Center in March, 1995. Twenty-five patients were insured at that time, were selected from 47 patients receiving home care service for study feasibility with six disease groups; Caesarean Section (C/S), simple nephrectomy, Liver cirrhosis(LC), chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD), Lung cancer or cerebrovascular accident(CVA). In this study, the following items were selected : First step : Preliminary study 1. Criteria and items were selected on the basis of related literature on each disease area. 2. Items were identified by home care nurses. 3. A physician in charge reviewed the criteria and content of selected items. 4. Items were revised through preliminary study offered to both HCN patients and discharged patients from the home care center. Second step : Pretest 1. To verify the content of the items, a pretest was conducted with 18 patients of which there were three patients in each of the six selected disease groups. Third step : Test of reliability and validity of tools 1. Using the collected data from 25 patients with either cis, Simple nephrectomy, LC, COPD, Lung cancer, or CVA. the final items were revised through a panel discussion among experts in medical care who were researchers, doctors, or nurses. 2. Reliability and validity of the completed tool were verified with both inpatients and HCN patients in each of field for researches. The study results are as follows: 1. Standard for discharge with HCN referral The referral standard for home care, which included criteria for discharge with HCN referral and criteria leaving the hospital were established. These were developed through content analysis from the results of an open-ended questionnaire to related doctors concerning characteristic for discharge with HCN referral for each of the disease groups. The final criteria was decided by discussion among the researchers. 2. Instrument for measurement of health statusPatient health status was measured pre and post home care by direct observation and interview with an open-ended questionnaire which consisted of 61 items based on Gorden's nursing diagnosis classification. These included seven items on health knowledge and health management, eight items on nutrition and metabolism, three items on elimination, five items on activity and exercise, seven items on perception and cognition, three items on sleep and rest, three items on self-perception, three items on role and interpersonal relations, five items on sexuality and reproduction, five items on coping and stress, four items on value and religion, three items on family. and three items on facilities and environment. 3. Instrument for measurement of self-care The instrument for self-care measurement was classified with scales according to the attributes of the disease. Each scale measured understanding level and practice level by a Yes or No scale. Understanding level was measured by interview but practice level was measured by both observation and interview. Items for self-care measurement included 14 for patients with a CVA, five for women who had a cis, ten for patients with lung cancer, 12 for patients with COPD, five for patients with a simple nephrectomy, and 11 for patients with LC. 4. Record for follow-up management This included (1) OPD visit sheet, (2) ER visit form, (3) complications problem form, (4) readmission sheet. and (5) visit note for others medical centers which included visit date, reason for visit, patient name, caregivers, sex, age, time and cost required for visit, and traffic expenses, that is, there were open-end items that investigated OPD visits, emergency room visits, the problem and solution of complications, readmissions and visits to other medical institution to measure health problems and expenditures during the follow up period. 5. Instrument to measure patients satisfaction The satisfaction measurement instrument by Reisseer(1975) was referred to for the development of a tool to measure patient home care satisfaction. The instrument was an open-ended questionnaire which consisted of 11 domains; treatment, nursing care, information, time consumption, accessibility, rapidity, treatment skill, service relevance, attitude, satisfaction factors, dissatisfaction factors, overall satisfaction about nursing care, and others. In conclusion, Five evaluation instruments were developed for home care nursing. These were (1)standard for discharge with HCN referral. (2)instrument for measurement of health status, (3)instrument for measurement of self-care. (4)record for follow-up management, and (5)instrument to measure patient satisfaction. Also, the five instruments can be used to evaluate the effectiveness of the service to assure quality. Further research is needed to increase the reliability and validity of instrument through a community-based HCN evaluation.

1980년대 주요산업정책(主要産業政策) 결정(決定)과 경쟁정책(競爭政策): 역할(役割)과 한계(限界) (The Competition Policy and Major Industrial Policy-Making in the 1980's)

  • 본고(本稿)의 목적(目的)은 지난 1980년대의 주요산업정책(主要産業政策) 결정과정(決定過程)에서 나타난 경쟁정책(競爭政策)의 역할(役割)과 역할한계(役割限界)의 원인(原因)을 고찰함에 있다. 1980년대의 주요산업정책 결정인 1986년의 공업발전법제정(工業發展法制定), 1986~87년 기간중 동법(同法)에 근거한 합리화업종지정(合理化業種指定), 그리고 1986~88년 기간중 조세감면규제법(租稅減免規制法)에 근거한 부실기업정리(不實企業整理)의 세 과정에서 경쟁정책(競爭政策)은 극히 제한된 역할밖에 하지 못하였다. 경쟁정책(競爭政策)의 역할한계(役割限界)의 원인(原因)에 대하여 본(本) 연구(硏究)는 정책집행론(政策執行論)의 다섯가지 가설(假說) - 법령상(法令上)의 문제(問題), 자원부족(資源不足), 직무태도(職務態度) 및 동기상(動機上)의 문제(問題), 전문성(專門性) 부족(不足), 그리고 불리(不利)한 정책집행환경(政策執行環境) - 을 중심으로 살펴보았다. 분석결과(分析結果), 경쟁정책(競爭政策) 담당기관(擔當機關)의 제한(制限)된 전문성(專門性)과 경쟁정책(競爭政策)의 효율적인 집행을 저해하는 정책환경상(政策環境上)의 요인(要因)이 가장 의미 있는 변수로 나타났다. 이러한 경쟁정책(競爭政策)의 역할한계(役割限界)의 원인(原因)에 대한 분석(分析)을 토대로, 본고(本稿)는 현재 논의가 진행중인 우리나라 공정거래제도(公正去來制度)의 제도개선방안(制度改善方案)을 평가(評價)한 후, 불리(不利)한 정책집행환경(政策執行環境)의 개선(改善)을 위한 제도적(制度的) 조치(措置)와 전문성제고(專門性提高)를 위한 경제기획원(經濟企劃院)의 순환보직제도(循環補職制度)의 합리적(合理的) 조정방안(調整方案) 및 공정거래위원회(公正去來委員會)의 내부조직(內部組織) 개편방안(改編方案)을 제시(提示)하였다.

선박소화훈련 시뮬레이터 개발에 관한 연구 (The Development of a Ship Firefighting Drill Simulator)

  • 우리나라는 세월호 사고 이후 해양안전에 대한 중요성이 증대되고 있다. 특히, 해양관련 종사자들에 국한하지 않고 대국민 해양안전의식 고취를 위해 학교 및 해양관련 단체에서 다양한 교육훈련 및 체험교육이 시행되고 있다. 선원의 안전교육은 SOLAS 규정에 의거 여객선은 10일, 상선은 매월 1회 소화 및 퇴선훈련을 실시하고 있다. 세월호 사고 이후 교육훈련의 효과를 증대시키기 위해 교육 정원을 기존 40명에서 20명으로 줄여 모든 교육생이 실제 교육훈련에 참여할 수 있도록 하고 있다. 현재의 교육훈련 형태는 교재에 의거한 이론교육 실시 후 실제 실습을 행하는 2단계 교육훈련이 실시되고 있다. 하지만 현재 인적, 물적 여건상 교육생들에게 많은 실습시간 부여 및 소수인원으로 구성된 실습교육이 곤란한 상황이나 시뮬레이션 기법이 도입될 경우 실습 전 숙달된 능력으로 실습교육의 빠른 진행으로 많은 실제 실습교육 수행이 가능할 것이다. 이러한 이유로 이 연구에서는 해상안전교육 중 소화훈련의 효율성을 증대시키기 위해 총 3단계로 구분한 교육훈련을 제안하고자 한다. 즉, 이론 교육 후 시뮬레이션 기법을 통한 개인별 임무 숙지 및 장비 사용법에 대한 이미지트레이닝교육을 추가하고자 한다. 이러한 시뮬레이션 기법을 사용할 경우 이론교육으로 얻어진 지식을 바탕으로 실제 훈련 전 가상으로 먼저 시행함으로서 실습교육에 빠른 적응이 가능하며 시뮬레이션 특성상 실제 훈련에서는 곤란한 긴급상황 대처훈련 및 다양한 시나리오에 의한 반복훈련이 가능하다. 이렇게 실습 전 숙달된 능력을 바탕으로 실습교육의 진행 속도를 증가시켜 많은 실제 실습교육을 수행할 수 있어 교육훈련 효율성이 증대될 것이다. 실제 교육생 설문조사에 의하면 개인별 실습시간 부족을 지적하였다. 이러한 이유로 가상현실 기법을 이용한 시뮬레이터 개발이 필요하여 이 연구에서는 개발방법에 대해 고찰하였다.

Diagnostic Performance of HPV E6/E7 mRNA and HPV DNA Assays for the Detection and Screening of Oncogenic Human Papillomavirus Infection among Woman with Cervical Lesions in China

  • Background: Human papillomavirus (HPV) is the most common sexually transmitted infection worldwide and it is responsible for most cases of cervical uterine cancer. Although HPV infections of the cervix do not always progress to cancer, 90% of cervical cancer cases have been found to be associated with high risk HPV (HR-HPV) infection. HPV DNA testing is widely used, along with Papanicolaou (Pap) testing, to screen for cervical abnormalities. However, there are no data on the prevalence of genotype-specific HPV infections assessed by measuring HPV E6/E7 mRNA in women representative of the Chinese population across a broad age range. Materials and Methods: In the present study, we compared the results with the CervicGen HPV RT-qDx assay, which detects 16 HR-HPV genotypes (Alpha-9: HPV 16, 31, 33, 35, 52, and 58; Alpha-7: HPV 18, 39, 45, 51, 59, and 68; and Alpha-5, 6: HPV 53, 56, 66, and 69), and the REBA HPV-ID assay, which detects 32 HPV genotypes based on the reverse blot hybridization assay (REBA) for the detection of oncogenic HPV infection according to cytological diagnosis. We also investigated the prevalence and genotype distribution of HPV infection with a total of 324 liquid-based cytology samples collected in western Shandong province, East China. Results: The overall HPV prevalences determined by HPV DNA and HPV E6/E7 mRNA assays in this study were 79.9% (259/324) and 55.6% (180/324), respectively. Although the positivity of HPV E6/E7 mRNA expression was significantly lower than HPV DNA positivity, the HPV E6/E7 mRNA assay showed greater specificity than the HPV DNA assay (88.6% vs. 48.1%) in normal cytology samples. The prevalence of Alpha-9 (HPV 16, 31, 33, 35, 52, and 58) HPV infection among these women accounted for up to 80.3% and 76.1% of the high-grade lesions detected in the HPV mRNA and DNA tests, respectively. The HR-HPV genotype distribution, based on HPV DNA and E6/E7 mRNA expression by age group in patients with cytologically confirmed lesions, was highest in women aged 40 to 49 years (35.9% for cytologically confirmed cases, Pearson correlation r value=0.993, p<0.001) for high-grade lesions. Among the oncogenic HR-HPV genotypes for all age groups, there was little difference in the distribution of HPV genotypes between the HPV DNA (HPV -16, 53, 18, 58, and 33) and HPV E6/E7 mRNA (HPV -16, 53, 33, 58, and 18) assays. HPV 16 was the most common HPV genotype among women with high-grade lesions. Conclusions: Our results suggest that the HPV E6/E7 mRNA assay can be a sensitive and specific tool for the screening and investigation of cervical cancer. Furthermore, it may provide useful information regarding the necessity for early cervical cancer screenings and the development of additional effective HPV vaccines, such as one for HPV 53 and 58. Additionally, gaining knowledge of HPV distribution may also inform us about ecological changes in HPV after the vaccination.

학과보건교육에서의 매체활용실태 및 영향요인 분석 (An Analysis of the Use of Media Materials in School Health Education and Related Factors in Korea)

  • The objectives of this study are to explain the use of media materials in school health education with other related factors in elementary, middle, and high schools in Korea. The data were collected by questionnaires from June to September in 1998. The number of subjects were 294 school nurses. The PC-SAS program was used for statistical analysis such as percent distribution, chi-squared test, spearman correlation test, and logistic regression. The use of media materials in health education has become extremely common. Unfortunately, much of the early materials were of poor production quality, reflected low levels of interest, and generally did little to enhance health education programming. A recent trend in media materials is a move away from the fact filled production to a more affective, process-oriented approach. There is an obvious need for health educators to use high-quality, polished productions in order to counteract the same levels of quality used by commercial agencies that often promote "unhealthy" lifestyles. Health educators need to be aware of the advantages and disadvantages of the various forms of media. Selecting media materials should be based on more than cost, availability, and personal preference. Selection should be based on the goal of achieving behavioral objectives formulated before the review process begins. The decision to use no media materials rather than something of dubious quality usually be the right decision. Poor-quality, outdated, or boring materials will usually have a detrimental effect on the presentation. Media materials should be viewed as vehicles to enhance learning, not products that will stand in isolation. Process of materials is an essential part of the educational process. The major results were as follows : 1. The elementary schools used the materials more frequently. But the production rate of media materials was not enough. The budget was too small for a wide use of media materials in school health education. These findings suggest that all schools have to increase the budget of health education programs. 2. Computers offer an incredibly diverse set of possibilities for use in health education, ranging from complicated statistical analysis to elementary-school-level health education games. But the use rate of this material was not high. The development of related software is essential. Health educators would be well advised to develop a basic operating knowledge of media equipment. 3. In this study, the most effective materials were films in elementary school and videotapes in middle and high school. Film tends to be a more emotive medium than videotape. The difficulties of media selection involved the small amount of extant educational materials. Media selection is a multifaceted process and should be based on a combination of sound principles. 4. The review of material use following student levels showed that the more the contents were various, the more the use rate was high. 5. Health education videotapes and overhead projectors proved the most plentiful and widest media tools. The information depicted was more likely to be current. As a means to display both text and graphic information, this instructional medium has proven to be both effective and enduring. 6. An analysis of how effective the quality of school nurse and school use of media materials shows a result that is not complete (p=0.1113). But, the budget of health education is a significant variable. The increase of the budget therefore is essential to effective use of media materials. From these results it is recommended that various media materials be developed and be wide used.

수학적 모델링 학습이 문장제 해결에 미치는 효과 (Effects of the Mathematical Modeling Learning on the Word Problem Solving)

  • 수학적 모델링은 일반적으로 수학적인 방법으로 해석되고 이해되어야 하는 실제적인 문제 상황을 해결하기 위해 상황에 대한 적절한 수학적 모델을 구성하여 문제를 해결하는 일련의 과정이라고 할 수 있다. 문장제는 실제적인 측면과 형식적인 측면, 모두를 포함하고 있으므로 수학적 모델링 활동에 이상적인 도구가 될 수 있다. 이에 본 연구는 실세계의 맥락을 고려해야 하는 진정성있는 문장제를 바탕으로 한 수학적 모델링 학습이 문장제 해결 행동, 문장제 해결에서 실생활 경험을 활용하는 능력, 문장제에 대한 신념 등에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. 연구 결과 문장제에 대한 수학적 모델링 학습은 직접번역 접근(DTA) 대신에 의미기반 접근(MBA)으로 문장제 해결 행동을 이끄는데 효과적이었으며, 문장제를 해결하는데 있어서 실생활 맥락을 고려하는 태도에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤다. 또한 수학적 모델링 학습은 문장제에 대한 긍정적인 신념을 형성하는데 중요한 역할을 했음을 알 수 있었다. 이와 같은 연구 결과를 바탕으로 초등학교에서 문장제를 어떻게 다루어야 하는지에 대한 시사점을 살펴보았다.

한국산 살모사과 3종의 경쟁과 공간적 생태 - 생태적 지위를 기반으로 한 모델과 지리정보시스템 적용 - (Interspecific Competition and spatial Ecology of three Species of Vipers in Korea: An Application of Ecological niche-based Models and GIS)

  • 생물종의 경쟁과 공간적 분포, 생태적 지위의 관계에 대한 정보는 생물지리학적 분포형태를 이해하는 데 중요한 역할을 한다. 본 연구에서는 한국에 서식하고 있는 살모사과 3종(Gloydius ussuriensis, G. brevicaudus, G. saxatilis)에 대해 관찰자료와 종 분포 모델 기법을 바탕으로 분포 특성과 종의 생태적 지위를 산출하였고, 예측된 종 분포 모델들을 바탕으로 지리적 분포와 생태적 지위의 분화에 대한 종간 경쟁 관계의 영향을 추론하였다. 연구 결과 고도가 살모사들의 분포에 가장 중요한 환경변수로 나타났으며, 그들이 분포한 고도는 그 지역의 기후와 상관관계를 나타냈다. 종간 생태적 지위는 비교적 높게 중첩되어 있었지만, 예측된 3종의 분포형태는 태백산맥을 기준으로 차이를 나타냈다. 분포모델들을 중첩한 결과, 종간 중첩된 지역의 서식지는 대부분 산림지역으로, 전체 조사 지역에 비해 비교적 작은 범위가 중첩되어 접소적인 분포형태가 예측되었다. 또한 중첩된 지역에 분포한 개체수는 종간 양의 상관관계를 나타내고 있어, 이 지역에서 종간 경쟁이 심하지 않다는 것을 암시하고 있다. 결론적으로 한국에 서식하고 있는 살모사과 3종은 유사한 생태적 지위를 차지하고 있지만, 직접적인 경쟁 없이 접소적인 분포형태를 띠고 있는 것으로 보인다. 향후 접소적인 분포형태를 일으키는 직접적인 요인을 알아내기 위해, 보다 자세한 생태학적, 행동학적 연구와 더불어 비교적 세밀한 격자 크기를 통한 다양한 지형변수(고도, 미소서식지 특성 등)들에 대한 연구가 진행될 필요가 있다.

  • 본 연구는 중소 벤처기업이 보유하고 있는 자원뿐만 아니라 자원을 획득하기 위한 노력(intent to access resources from others)이 자원이 부족한 중소벤처기업의 성장 및 생존에 매우 중요한 영향을 미치고 있음을 정량적 자료의 분석과 사례연구를 통해서 확인하였다. 특히 중소 벤처기업의 자원에서 매우 중요한 역할을 하는 기술자원의 확보 (Itami, 1987)가 어떻게 기업의 성장 및 생존에 영향을 미치는지를 살펴보았으며, 세계화의 관점(international perspective)에서는 세계화를 통한 시장확대를 한 기업들이 기업에게 필요한 독특한 자원과 능력을 확보하게 되고, 이 확보된 자원과 능력이 기업의 생존 및 성장에 영향을 미침을 확인하였다. 본 연구에서는 중소 벤처기업이 성장하고 생존하기 위해서는 자원의 보유뿐만이 아니라 부존 자원을 확보하기 위한 노력 즉, 전략적 제휴, M&A 등을 통한 자원획득 전략과 세계화를 통한 시장 확대가 성장 및 생존에 필수조건임을 알 수 있었다. 그러나 본 연구의 인터뷰에 참여한 25개 기업 중 성공적인 세계화를 이룬 경우는 30% 미만이었으며, 자원확보를 위한 전략적 제휴 및 M&A, 대기업과의 공동 연구개발 등을 진행, 세계화 추진에 여러 가지 애로사항이 있는 것으로 파악되었다. 공동개발, 제휴 등의 협력을 바탕으로 한 성공적 세계시장으로의 진출을 해결할 수 있는 대안으로 본 연구자들은 유기적 협력체 형성 즉, 소벤처 생태계의 조성 및 활성화가 필요함을 강조하였다. 최근 글로벌 시장에서의 경쟁은 개별기업 간 경쟁에서 기업 네트워크 간 경쟁으로 변화되고 있다. 이러한 상황에서 개별 벤처기업의 단독 해외시장의 진출은 매우 위험한 전략이라고 할 수 있으며 지속성장을 위해서는 선도기업과 초기 벤처기업 간 상생 협력 체계를 구축하여 해외시장에 동반 진출해야 할 필요가 있다.

IT서비스 기업의 정보화 성과 창출을 위한 메커니즘 요인 사례 연구 (A Case Study on Mechanism Factors for Result Creation of Informatization of IT Service Company)

  • 그 동안의 기업 정보화 성과 관련 연구들은 정보화 자체의 구축 완성도 및 그 재무적 효과에 초점을 맞추고 있어 정보화의 방향성이 경영전략을 지원할 수 있는지에 대한 연구가 미흡하였다. 기업의 정보화를 통해 기업의 경영전략 이행이 주도될 수 있는지, 주요 메커니즘 요인과 정보화 성과와의 연관관계 대한 검증이 필요하며, 이는 정보화 성공요인들을 경영학적 관점으로 재해석하는 연구가 필요하다는 것을 의미한다. 본 연구는 국내 대표적인 IT서비스 기업의 사례를 중심으로 3가지 선택, 학습 그리고 조정 메커니즘 관점에서 기업이 정보화 성과창출 과정에서 어떠한 메커니즘 요인이 적용되고 있는지에 대한 문제를 중심으로 연구하였다. 본 연구를 수행한 결과 8개의 명제를 도출하였다. 기업의 주체는 정보화 성과 실현을 위해 조직의 정보역량 확보를, 조직 분권화 문제 해결을 위해서는 정보화 투자를 가장 중요한 전략적 요인으로 선택하였다. 또한, 산업 내 경쟁이 치열해질수록 정보화 투자가 기업의 전략 실행의 활용 수단으로 전환되었고, 공식화된 프로세스나 정보기술을 통해 투자 의사결정 활동이 이루어지고 있었다. 조직의 차별화된 역량은 기술지식 습득을 중심으로 이루어지며 조직의 지식은 정보시스템을 통해 전사로 확대되고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 그리고 정보화 변화관리와 외부 협력업체 관리가 조직의 중요한 조정 요인으로 인식되고 있음을 발견하였다. 본 연구의 시사점은 선행 정보화 성과 관련 연구에서 실증적으로 다루지 못한 메커니즘 요인에 대해 직접적으로 사업 담당 임원, 정보화 담당 임원 등의 경험을 바탕으로 사례연구를 진행했기 때문에 IT서비스 기업의 정보화 성과를 위해 중점적으로 관리해야 할 요인들에 대해 실무적인 시각을 제공해 줄 수 있다고 생각하며 IT서비스 기업에 대해 최초로 SER-M 프레임워크를 적용하였기 때문에 정보화 성과 창출을 위한 메커니즘 요인에 대한 보다 깊은 이해와 경험적 사례를 바탕으로 타 산업군의 기업에도 적용할 수 있는 학문적인 기여를 제공할 수 있다고 생각된다.
