  • This study examined how national research and development (R&D) in the domain of logistics has changed recently in the Republic of Korea. We conducted basic statistical analysis and social network analysis on 5,327 logistics-related R&D projects undertaken during 2005-2019. Data for performing these analyses were collected from the R&D database of the National Science and Technology Information Service (NTIS). By constructing a co-occurrence matrix with keywords, we conducted degree and betweenness centrality analysis and visualized the network matrix to display a cluster map. This study presents our observations related to the following findings: (1) the chronical trends of logistics R&D, (2) focused fields of logistics R&D, (3) the relations among keywords, and (4) the characteristics of logistics R&D. Finally, we suggest policy implications to boost and diversify logistics R&D.

  • The policy change in the Data 3 Act is one of the issues that should be noted at a time when non-face-to-face business strategies become important after COVID-19. The Data 3 Act was implemented in South Korea on August 5, 2020, calling 'Big Data 3 Act' and 'Data Economy 3 Act,' and so personal information that was not able to identify a particular individual could be utilized without the consent of the individual. With the implementation of the Data 3 Act, it is possible to establish a fair economic ecosystem by ensuring fair access to data and various uses. In this paper, the law on the protection of personal information, which is the core of the Data 3 Act, was compared around Korea, the European Union and the United States, and the implications were derived through network analysis of keywords.

  • An increasing number of companies in the fashion industry are using AI curation services. The purpose of this study is to investigate perceptions of and intentions to use AI fashion curation services among customers by using text mining. To accomplish this goal, we collected a total of 34,190 online posts from two Korean portals, Naver and Daum. We conducted frequency analysis to identify the most frequently mentioned keywords using Textom. The analysis extracted "various," "good," "many," "right," and "new" at the highest frequency, indicating that consumers had positive perceptions of AI fashion curation services. In addition, we conducted a semantic network analysis with the top-50 most frequently used keywords, classifying customers' perceptions of AI fashion curation services into three groups: shopping, platform, and business profit. We also identified the factors that boost continuous use intentions: usability, usefulness, reliability, enjoyment, and personalization. We conclude this paper by discussing the theoretical and practical implications of these findings.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the oral records of sports development contributors to explore the direction of big data research on sports development contributors in the future. To this end, the audio file produced in the interview with Lee00, a sports development contributor, was converted into text. The major themes were extracted by analyzing these oral records. The sub-themes were extracted in chronological order. Keywords were extracted by analyzing sub-themes. And the extracted keywords are searched in Google search engine to find related topics and to use them. A Google search for the topic 'Mt. Inwang' extracted from the oral archives of Lee00, a contributor to the development of sports, finds newspaper articles about President Moon Jae-in's climbing Mt. Inwang and opening up Mt. Bukhan. In addition, articles about Mt. Inwang and mountain climbers that the narrator In-jeong Lee speaks are searched for. • The Community Social Service Investment project started as a state subsidy project in 2007 and has grown very rapidly in quantitative terms in a short period of time. It is a bottom-up project that discovers the welfare needs of people and plans and provides services suitable for them. The purpose of this study is to analyze using big data to determine the social response to local community service investment projects. For this, data was collected and analyzed by crawling with a specific keyword of community service investment project on Google and Naver sites. As for the analysis contents, monthly search volume, related keywords, monthly search volume, search rate by age, and gender search rate were conducted. As a result, 10 items were found as related keywords in Google, and 3 items were found in Naver. The overall results of Google and Naver sites were slightly different, but they increased and decreased at almost the same time. Therefore, it can be seen that the community service investment project continues to attract users' interest.

  • In this study we analyze research trends on machine learning healthcare based on papers from the United States, the United Kingdom, and Korea. In Elsevier's Scopus, we collected 3425 papers related to machine learning healthcare published from 2018 to 2022. Keyword frequency and centrality analysis were conducted using the abstracts of the collected papers. We identified keywords with high frequency of appearance by calculating keyword frequency and found central research keywords through the centrality analysis by country. Through the analysis results, research related to machine learning, deep learning, healthcare, and the covid virus was conducted as the most central and highly mediating research in each country. As the implication, studies related to electronic health information-based treatment, natural language processing, and privacy in Korea have lower degree centrality and betweenness centrality than those of the United States and the United Kingdom. Thus, various convergence research applied with machine learning is needed for these fields.

In addition, it is one of the usual hands-on marine festivals in Korea that can be enjoyed with one mind at the Boryeong Mud Festival, regardless of race, age, and language. This study explored the overall perception and trends of the Boryeong Mud Festival using big data extracted online from the Boryeong Mud Festival. First, keywords such as Chungnam, hosting, summer, reporter, experience, opening ceremony, performance, operation, news, tourist, opening, event, and festival were frequently exposed online. Second, due to centrality analysis, the centrality of festival experience programs and performances, opening ceremonies, and Boryeong mayor was high. Third, due to the CONCOR analysis, five clusters of meaningful keywords related to the Boryeong Mud Festival were formed.

  • The purpose of this study is to revitalize ESG tourism in Bhutan by comparing and analyzing the ESG tourism status in Bhutan and the ESG tourism status in Korea. Big data analysis using text mining was performed by selecting "Bhutan ESG Tourism" and "Korea ESG Tourism" as keywords. The top 30 keywords were extracted through word purification, and based on this, data visualization was conducted through network analysis and Concor analysis between each keyword. As a result of the analysis, it was confirmed that Bhutan, unlike Korea, did not utilize it even though it had elements to incorporate ESG and the tourism industry into the country itself. As a result, since it is necessary to combine ESG elements owned by Bhutan and combine them with the tourism industry, we would like to suggest the direction of combining ESG and the tourism industry through this study.
