At present, 265 national food waste recycling facilities have been operated by public facilities 95 and private facilities 160. it has continuously installed a food waste treatment facility from 1997. The government set up and implemented guidelines and inspection standards for the installation and operation of the facilities. However, unclear detailed examination items, designs and process standards for the installation procedures of the facilities are causing problems due to the unskilled operation management system, decrease in efficiency and defects of a facility. This study conducted mail and site surveys on 95 public food waste recycling facilities that it suggest the ways to operate facilities which minimize problems. At the result of investigation, a pre-treatment facility was not installed 2 systems(2 inputting facilities) and hopper covers and food was overloaded. also the transportation amount was excessive. In case of a main treatment facility, the secondary environmental pollution was caused by inexperienced operation and the efficiency of the facility was reduced due to excessive input of food. also the operation management standards of the facilities were inappropriate. The odor and food waste leachate treatment facility is investigated as problems that are unskilled operation, lack of regular inspection and inappropriate capacity of the treatment facility. Based on the problems found through the investigation, it suggested some ways of efficient operation. this study might contribute to minimize mistakes and defects and improve the efficiency of install and operation course of food waste recycling facilities through finding.

This study is to investigate the air pollution characteristics of an industrialized midsize west-coastal city by comparing air quality to a neighboring inland city. The hourly averaged data of $O_3$, $SO_2$, $NO_2$, CO, and $PM_{10}$ measured from continuous air quality monitoring sites in Gunsan (coastal) and Jeonju (inland) were analyzed. The data set covers the period from 2004 to 2006. The annual average concentrations of the air pollutants in two cities were compared in their abundances and temporal trends as well. $O_3$ and $SO_2$ in Gunsan were relatively higher than those in Jeonju, while vice versa in case of $NO_2$ and $PM_{10}$. It seems that heavy automobile emissions from Jeonju mainly bring on higher $NO_2$ and $PM_{10}$ than those in Gunsan on annual base. $NO_2$ concentrations in both cities showed bimodal diurnal variations with peaks in the morning and in the late evening. These peaks correspond to the coupled effects of rush hour traffic and meteorological conditions (i.e., variation of mixing height and dispersion conditions). Maximum hourly averages of $NO_2$ ranged from 18 ppb to 28 ppb at Jeonju, and from 12 ppb to 20 ppb at Gunsan. $O_3$ showed typical diurnal variation with a maximum in the afternoon between 14:00 and 16:00 LST. Diurnal variations of CO and $PM_{10}$ were similar to $NO_2$ while $SO_2$ was similar to $O_3$. Seasonal variations of $PM_{10}$ in both cities indicated that their concentrations during spring season were significantly high. Asian dust storms occur frequently during spring and seem to affect increase in $PM_{10}$. High $O_3$ and $PM_{10}$ days were selected from both cities. The analyses based on the HYSPLIT trajectory model during the high $O_3$ and $PM_{10}$ showed these episodes (six cases) were mostly coincident with Asian dust storm originated from northern China and Mongolia. However, these high air pollution episodes in the west coastal cities may not only be caused by the Asian dust but also affected by other air pollutants transported from China accompanying the Asian dust.

Hebei Spirit Oil Spill that happened in 2007 had prompted the need of revisiting the coastal safety. In response to this, Korea had made an effort to implement VTS in every coastline in the country. There are a lot of theoretical studies on VTS function nowadays, but coastal VTS are less frequently studied. In this paper, performance analysis results and accident prevention activities of Jindo Coastal VTS center were summarized and the Coastal VTS function are investigated. Jindo Coastal VTS covers relatively wide area and various places with various maritime traffic characteristics are the major navigation vessels, which means that it is important to control these vessels. Since the probability of accidents due to human error is relatively high in coastal area due to negligence tendency of crews during coastal area navigation, coastal VTS has to provide sufficient assistance to navigating vessels. Like most harbour VTS, Coastal VTS provides not only main information service, navigational assistance and traffic organization services but also various services related with advanced search-and-rescue assistance, marine national security, maritime crime prevention, oil spill response, traffic services for non-service vessel, and safety supervision for water leisure boats.

Recently, problem of earth environment being attended with international issue, people are concerned about the environmentally-friendly and renewable biomass energy. Especially, the forest biomass is more important because Korea have to control carbon footprint for Kyoto Protocol and Convention on Climate Change. In case of Korea, forest area covers the land about 2/3 of all country. It is needed that more economical and efficient method to estimate the biomass by remote sensing data which include wide coverage and is progressed by one-step. In this study, we estimate forest biomass with LiDAR data and aerial photograph. Three biomass equation is used and estimate mean biomass of single tree and entire biomass in plots. The results are compared with field data. $R^2$ of the mean biomass of single tree is greater than 0.8 and that of entire biomass in plots is greater than 0.65. In conclusion, the method using remote sensing data is verified more economical and efficient than previous field data method.
Interviews are so important and meaningful that it is the heart of the documentary. In narrative film, it is focused as the story discourse, whereas documentary is strong in disclosure, which consists of narration and interview. In a TV documentary, interviews use conventional shots repeatedly, whereas in a documentary film that targets a relatively large screen, the interviewer's Mise-en-scene should consider the aesthetic depth. , which released in 2017 and used the audience for the third time in documentary film history, tries to make 40% of the volume of the main volume equal to the same angle. In a TV documentary, it is not uncommon for an interview cut to exceed 30 seconds, and if it exceeds 1 minute, immersion is significantly lowered, so the a mount and compression of the interview disclosure is important for both the director and the audience. In the case of the interview sequence of , it was the key to communicate the sub-plot with a relatively focused with long discourse, which is at least 8 minutes and 30 seconds to a maximum of 11 minutes, in a way that allows the audience to communicate. Furthermore, it was produced after the death of the protagonist Roh Moo Hyun, with the limitation that the voice of the protagonist was excluded, and the voice of Roh Moo Hyun was indirectly reproduced through the surrounding characters. In this study, it covers the meaning and scope of interviews in the production of documentary, and the aesthetic applications of the Mise-en-scene.

In this paper, a microstrip antenna with isoflux radiation patterns is presented for Low Earth Orbit(LEO) medium-sized satellites. Because of making isoflux patterns, the ground of proposed antenna under the patch was transform into a trapezoid for adjusting fringing field between the patch and ground. Next, the cavity walls were located at end of the ground for reducing back radiation. The proposed antenna was designed to receive S-band uplink(2.025 ~ 2.110 GHz) and the dimensions of the designed antenna with the ground are $160mm{\times}160mm{\times}40mm$ ($1.1{\lambda}{\times}1.1{\lambda}{\times}0.3{\lambda}$, ${\lambda}$ is the free-space wavelength at 2.068 GHz). Measured -10 dB bandwidth was 90 MHz(4.4 %) and it covers the required system bandwidth. Also, measured 3 dB axial ratio was 18 MHz(0.9 %). On the other hand, measured radiation patterns were isoflux patterns and its measured gain was 5.31 dBi at E-plane $46^{\circ}$ in the y-axis pol.

Human being does work to live out and they have their private life because human has sociality. Both work and life are important to live out but they are on the trade-off relationship. Because keeping the balance between work and life is too hard, it has been interested by academic and practical areas. Definition of Work-life balance here is that balance or imbalance arising between work and life has no negative impact on their daily life. Above all, Work-life balance is important because it is strongly related to identity. Recently, the introduction of the mobile office system has emerged as a way to solve the problem of work-life balance. It is based on the teleworking which was formerly generated. Teleworking is to perform the work in the employee's home or office space set aside without going into the workplace. Concept of the mobile office system here is not only using portable devices during work for convenience but also the system which is designed for the performance. Thanks to the diffusion of smart devices(smart phone, tablet pc), mobile office system has been spread. Although the importance of mobile office systems is emerging, there are few researches about it. Even they mostly focus on the standpoint of performance of mobile office system. However, Quality of life is as important as the performance. As a part of Quality of Life field, Work-life balance is the closest to employee's quality of life. So this study aims to examine the effect of the use of mobile office systems on work-life balance. To do so, we try to find factors effecting Work-life balance from existing studies and then set a research model. We set the use of mobile office systems as independent variables which are divided by use of function, use by location and use by situation. There are four dependent variables - sense of self command, sense of balance, solving work problem, solving life problem. We collected data from employees who are using mobile office systems on their job. 215 people were participated in the survey and we used multiple regression analysis to verify our research model. Results show that every independent variable has no impact on solving work problem while they have slight impact on the other dependent variables. Especially use on the business trip has significant effect on dependent variables. It means that there is a possibility use of mobile office system could control the employee's quality of life and system should be evolved until it covers even critical tasks. Also, support for mobile office system -education, encouragement-should be provided. By mobile office system is maturing, future research would be done.
The Status of oral health and dental prosthetic treatment in Daegu and Gyoung Buk area was examined. To investigate the correlation between factors such as demographic and socioeconomic characteristics and status of oral health and knowledge about oral preventive measures, a survey was performed. After analyzing the effects of knowledge levels about dental prosthetic treatment on the oral health status and preventive measures, following results were obtained. A Total of 625 people participated in the survey for three months from October 2007 to January 2008. The responses from the survey were then analyzed to assess whether those with less knowledge of preventive measures tended to have more dental prosthetic work. Of those that took part in the survey: ${\cdot}$ 30.2% were in their twenties ${\cdot}$ 56.2% were married ${\cdot}$ 51.4% of respondents had at least a college degree ${\cdot}$ 42.4% had monthly incomes below one million Won ${\cdot}$ 24.3% were students ${\cdot}$ 55.8% were from urban areas After studying the relationship between oral health and various demographics, researchers concluded that respondents' sex, income, job and place of residence had no effect on the overall status of their oral health. However, those that were divorcees or widows (1.95${_+}/{_-}$ 0.32), over the age of 70 (1.67${_+}/{_-}$0.31), or had little education (0.82${_+}/{_-}$0.28), all demonstrated a statistically significant effect on their oral health with a significance level of 0.05.Cross analysis revealed a p-value of 0.000. The correlation between knowledge of oral preventive measures and other factors was examined. No difference was found between men and women but people who were divorced or lost their spouse, people over the age of 60, and people with no education, the results of knowledge of oral preventive measure was poor as 1.74$\pm$0.44, 1.85$\pm$0.40, 1.85$\pm$0.44,and 1.60$\pm$0.47 separately. Cross analysis showed that p-value was 0.000 and correlation between knowledge of oral preventive measures and those factors were statistically significant at significance level of 0.05. The status of dental prosthetic treatment was investigated. Women, people with higher income, and married people had more dental prosthetic treatment and it was related to education, income, residential area, and the status of dental prosthetic treatment. The returns of those factors was 32.7%. Respondents$^{\circ}{\emptyset}$ oral hygiene status and knowledge of oral preventive measures was related to demographic or socioeconomic factors. Therefore, a preventive program for oral health care needs to be developed in advanced countries. Knowledge of oral health is below the international average and more research and effort needs to be put in to develop public knowledge of dental prosthetic treatment. Government intervention such as enacting an oral health initiative or dental insurance that covers prosthetic treatments is urgently needed.
Carotenoids are isoprenoids with a long polyene chain containing 3 to 15 conjugated double bonds, which determines their absorption spectrum. They typically consist of a $C_{40}$ hydrocarbon backbone often modified by different oxygen-containing functional groups, to yield cyclic or acyclic xanthophylls. Much work has also been focused on the identification, production, and utilization of natural sources of carotenoid (plants, microorganisms and crustacean by-products) as an alternative to the synthetic pigment which currently covers most of the world markets. Nevertheless, only a few carotenoids (${\beta}-carotene$, lycopene, astaxanthin, canthaxanthin, and lutein) can be produced commercially by fermentation or isolation from the small number of abundant natural sources. The market and demand for carotenoids is anticipated to increase dramatically with the discovery that carotenoids exhibit significant anti-carcinogenic activities and play an important role in the prevention of chronic diseases. The increasing importance of carotenoids in the feed, nutraceutical food and pharmaceutical markets has renewed by efforts to find ways of producing additional carotenoid structures in useful quantities. Because microorganisms and plants synthesize hundreds of different complex chemical carotenoid structures and a number of carotenoid biosynthetic pathways have been elucidated on a molecular level, metabolic and genetic engineering of microorganisms can provide a means towards economic production of carotenoid structures that are otherwise inaccessible. The aim of this article is to review our current understanding of carotenoid formation, to explain the perceived benefits of carotenoid in the diet and review the efforts that have been made to increase carotenoid in certain microorganisms.
The aim of this paper was to prove that if the risk level in combined tasks was improved through evaluation of postural load of liquid weight measurement process, the workload level and ratio of exposure time would be changed, and the time of process would be seen concurrently. Background: According to results of epidemiological studies conducted by Korea Occupational Safety & Health Agency, 122 musculoskeletal disorders occurred during 1992 to 2008, in which manufacturing industry covers 96(78.7%) of total. However, this is an insufficient level and only occupies 39% based on the South Korea's manufacturing standard industrial classification(246 industries). Method: Firstly, the number of batches weighed on one day(460min) was investigated based on the work performed and Weight measured weekly. VCR recording was taken based on the level of liquid ingredients prescribed for 1batch using the Camcorder. After dividing a 356 sec video into 1 sec using the screen capture function in Gom player, the job classification was performed by analyzing the change of working postures, which revealed 148 working postures. Time measurement was decided by time of the postures was being maintained. Then, the REBA analysis was performed for the working postures. The ratio of Exposure time was calculated based on the measurement time and REBA Score. In addition, the recommendations were designed and implementation was carried out for the working postures with REBA Score higher than 3. Finally, after the intervention, REBA measurement, time measurement, and ratio of exposure time were calculated for the comparison of works before and after improvement. Results: The number of work elements was decreased by 30.4% from 148 to 103 after improvement. The results of time measurement showed that the time was reduced by 46.3% from 356 sec to 191 sec. And the ratio of exposure time was also improved by 52.1% from 0% to 52.1% after improvement. Conclusion: The reduction of time was found to improve the productivity of management. Furthermore, because the reduction of ratio of exposure time and the improvement of workload level are the improvement of discomfort, it would contribute to the improvement of the worker's psychological working posture. Application: These results would contribute to musculoskeletal disease prevention and management performance. Further studies for other industries would be needed based on this case study.
