False Belief Understanding and Justification Reasoning according to Information of Reality amongst Children Aged 3, 4 and 5 (현실에 대한 정보가 3, 4, 5세 유아의 틀린 믿음 과제 수행 및 정당화 추론에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate false belief understanding and justification reasoning according to information of reality amongst children aged 3, 4 and 5. Children aged 3 to 5 years (N = 176) participated in this study. Each child was interviewed individually and responded to questions designed to measure his/her false belief understanding. Every child responded to the false belief task under two different information conditions of reality(reality known vs reality unknown). For more specific analysis, children's reasoning responses were also recorded. The major findings of this study are as follows. Children could understand false belief more easily under reality unknown conditions. Specifically, the influences of information conditions were crucial to 3-year-olds but not to 4- and 5-year-olds. Although 3 year olds were able to avoid the systematical errors inherent in the false belief task, they still did not understand the false belief itself. This study provides specific aspects of false belief understanding and its relevance to general changes in cognitive development.

  • A major problem in the adoption of advanced manufacturing systems such as C.I.M. (Computer Integrated Manufacturing) is the prerequisite economic justification Process because of high investment needed for the acquisition and installation of C.I.M. While some of the benefits expected are readily qualifiable, others are very difficult or even impossible, using conventional method. Thus the investment in C.I.M. should be considered as a strategic decision rather than a tactical decision which concerns with only financial implications. In this Paper we review papers on major justification techniques developed during the last decade and identify the benefits of C.I.M. and describe the considerations in the justification of C.I.M. Also we deal with the current and future research directions in justifying C.I.M.

  • Korea's laws regarding ICT must follow the Void for vagueness doctrine, the Principle of forbidden general delegation, the Principle of justification of system and the Principle of balancing test in the Constitution. The Act for the Promotion and Convergence and so on of Information and Communication in the Future should be improved as follows. It is desirable to improve the part where the principle of system justification of the Constitution is problematic in relation to existing laws. It is desirable to improve the ICT's policies on industry and convergence technologies so that they are well balanced between promotion and regulation of ICT's industries. It is desirable to improve the information service policy and legislative makeup relationship between various government agencies related to ICT. It is therefore desirable to improve the institutional complement to the post-regulatory framework for the protection of users of ICT in the future. It is desirable to create a device to replace the functions of the Information Service Budget Council in the special law of ICT.

  • This study is on the teaching method for the students who belong to the same school (one, the gifted class, passed gifted education of Science High school ), 1-1, face-to-face learning (two, good students in regular classroom) with a teacher, paired learning teams (4 people, gifted classes), and group lessons (20 people, gifted classes) and using the justification analysis framework tool(PIRSO) of Kim(2010) analyzes the justification element of the students in the group classes regular polygons paper was to explore ways to improve the justification of the folding maps activities. As a result, the width of the largest polygon difficulty level appropriate to the class for gifted elementary school classes but the individual learning style of the 1-1 face-to-face with a teacher or discussion with colleagues and cooperative approach is justified, rather than the material of the study of origami activities it turned out to be more effective in improving the level of justification. Unlike the individual learning activities, the exploration for class is the need to strain in parallel to the student is selected as needed, rather than serial manner was confirmed that it is necessary to clearly present problems even from the beginning. Development of teaching through the implications obtained from this method of reconstruction activities and proposed improvement measures for questioning.

The effect of male and female motivation and justification for violence on perpetrators of dating violence: Application of the Actor-Partner Interdependence Model(APIM) (남녀의 가해동기와 폭력 정당화가 데이트 폭력 가해에 미치는 영향: 자기-상대방 상호의존성 모델(APIM)의 적용)

  • The purpose of this study is to explore the mediating effect of violence justification, including actor-effect and partner-effect, in the process where the offense motive affects dating violence. The subjects of this study were 135 unmarried male and female couples aged 19 and over who were dating for more than 3 months, and each couple was subjected to a self-report scale on motives, justification of violence, and dating violence. Based on these paraphrasing, as a result of analyzing the path model using the Actor-Partner Interdependence Model, Men and women's motivations showed a direct effect on their dating violence, while women's motivations showed a significant partner effect on men's violence. The male's motivation also had a significant impact on his dating violence and partner's abuse of dating violence as a mediator for justification of his violence. On the other hand, the mediating effect of justifying violence in women was not significant. These results show that there is a gender difference between the motives for violence and the paths for justifying violence in the sex violence of men and women. Finally, the implications and limitations of this study, and suggestions for follow-up studies were discussed.

  • This thesis analyzes the nature of proof in the perspective on the philosophy of mathematics. such as absolutism, quasi-empiricism and social constructivism. And this thesis searches for the improvement of teaching proof in the light of the result of those analyses of the nature of proof. Though the analyses of the nature of proof in the perspective on the philosophy of mathematics, it is revealed that proof is a dynamic reasoning process unifying the way of analytical thought and the way of synthetical thought, and plays remarkably important roles such as justification, discovery and conviction. Hence we should teach proof as a dynamic reasoning process unifying the way of analytic thought and the way of synthetic thought, avoiding the mistake of dealing with proof as a unilaterally synthetic method. At the same time, we should make students have the needs of proof in a natural way by providing them with the contexts of both justification and discovery simultaneously. Finally, we should introduce the aspect of proof that can be represented as conviction, understanding, explanation and communication to school mathematics.

Parental Emotion Regulation and Children's Understanding of Emotional Display Rules (부모의 정서 규제와 아동의 정서 표출 규칙 이해)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate parental emotion regulation and children's understanding of emotional display rules. 31 boys and 29 girls of the first and fourth grades and their parents were selected for the subject. Sixty children were interviewed on eight interpersonal conflict situations and parent completed the PACES(Saarni, 1985) separately. The main results of this study were as follows. 1) Children's understanding of emotional display rules increased with age. 2) Children's primary justification for using emotional display rules was self-protective one. Girls used more often prosocial justification than boys. 3) Parental emotion regulation was significantly different between the two contexts: a child might cause another person substantial emotional distress and a child didn't cause another person substantial emotional distress. 4) Parental regulation was differed by children's age in the context that the child might cause another person substantial emotional distress. 5) Father's regulation was differed by children's sex in the context that the child might cause another person substantial emotional distress. 6) Maternal regulation was positively correlated to the level of emotional display rules in the context that the child might cause another person substantial emotional distress.
