The purpose of this paper is to analyze the aspects of hybrid warfare and show the limits of jus in bello, a principle that evaluates the moral responsibility of the agents. As a theory of the morality of war presented in traditional warfare, the just war theory has been widely accepted. In particular, jus in bello offers the criteria of moral legitimacy regarding the actions of individuals participating in or involved in war. However, hybrid warfare, in which various aspects of warfare operate in a complex way, has obvious differences compared to traditional warfare, and this difference causes difficulties in determining the moral evaluation and attribution of responsibility for actions in war. In order to appropriately resolve the moral problems arising from hybrid warfare, it is necessary to clarify what the limitations of existing moral justification theories are. To this end, in this paper, we will first present a conceptual understanding of hybrid warfare, specify the differences from traditional warfare, and then show the limits of its application in hybrid warfare in light of the three principles that compose jus in bello.

This paper introduces an eigenvalue method of transforming the hyperbolic partial differential equations of a particular unsteady friction water hammer model into characteristic form. This method is based on the solution of the corresponding one-dimensional Riemann problem that transforms hyperbolic quasi-linear equations into ordinary differential equations along the characteristic directions, which in this case arises as the eigenvalues of the system. A mathematical justification and generalization of the eigenvalues method is provided and this approach is compared to the traditional characteristic method.

Error Correcting Output Coding(ECOC) is used to solve multi-class problem. It is known that it improves the classification accuracy. In this paper, we compared various criteria to design code matrix while encoding. In addition. we prorpose an ensemble which uses the ability of each classifier while decoding. We investigate the justification of the proposed method through real data and synthetic data.

Long period eclipsing binary 32 Cygni was photometrically observed in 1992 at Yonsei University Observatory. Instrumental differential magnitude and standardized magnitude of this star show some intrinsic light variations. Some possible explanations will be discussed. BVRI photometric observations show that 30 Cyg may be a variable star. A further monitoring of 30 Cyg is therefore called for justification of such evidences.

We are concerned with a free boundary problem for the 2D Stokes channel flows, which determines the profile of the wing for the channel, so that the given traction force is to be distributed along the wing of the channel. Using the domain embedding technique, the free boundary problem is transferred into the shape optimization problem through the compliant formulation by releasing the traction condition along the variable boundary. The justification of the formulation will be discussed.

A Markov Chain Monte Carlo method with development of computation is used to be the software system reliability probability model. For Bayesian estimator considering computational problem and theoretical justification we studies relation Markov Chain with Gibbs sampling. Special case of GOS with Superposition for Goel-Okumoto and Weibull models using Gibbs sampling and Metropolis algorithm considered. In this paper discuss Bayesian computation and model selection using posterior predictive likelihood criterion. We consider in this paper data using method by Cox-Lewis. A numerical example with a simulated data set is given.

It should be noted that the number of observation in the up-and-down procedure is a random variable. Therefore, We need to justify the employment of the conditional likelihood even in the above situation and show the algorithm of simulation. Also, the strategy of halving or widening the level space in modified up-and-down method is suggested.
