We report a case of gastric pseudoterranoviasis proven by gastrofiberscopy on Dec. 13, 1994. The 34-year-old male patient, residing in Chungju-shi, was admitted to Konkuk University Hospital complaining of prickling epigastric pain. The symptoms suddenly attacked him two days after eating raw marine fish at Chonan-shi. By the gastrofiberscopic examination, a long white-yellowish nematode was found from the fundus region of stomach. The worm was $34.50{\;}{\times}{\;}0.84{\;}{\;}mm$ in size. and was identified as a 3rd stage larva of Pseudoterranova decipiens judging from the position of the intestinal cecum. This is the 12th confirmed case of human pseudoterranoviasis in Korea.

The tetradecameric peptide (K47-K60) near the NH$_2$-terminal region of epithelial-cell adhesion molecule (Ep-CAM) was chosen as antigenic site and a polyclonal antibody was generated, which could recognize Ep-CAM from the mouse colon tissue or the colon cancer cell, CT-26, in Western blot analysis. Then, the fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), a fluorescence dye, was conjugated with the affinity purified Ep-CAM antibody using thiocyanate and the amino groups of FITC and antibody, respectively. The molar ratio of FITC to antibody was estimated approximately 1.86 to 1.00 by measuring the optical densities at 492 nm and 280 nm. Ep-CAM antibody-FITC conjugate was then used for immunohistochemistry of the CT-26 cells. Judging from the shapes formed by fluorescence, the Ep-CAM antibody could delivered FITC to the surface of cells in which Ep-CAM was expressed. This result implies that Ep-CAM antibody could be also used for the tissue-specific delivery of the photosensitizer to the target protein via antigen-antibody interaction.

Bead shape in high frequency electric resistance (HER) pipe welding gives useful information on judging current welding conditon. In most welding process, heat input is controlled by skilled operators observing color and shape of bead. In this paper, a visual monitoring system is designed to observe bead shape in HERW pipe welding process by using structured light beam and a C.I.D(Charge injection device) camera. To avoid some difficul- ties arising in extracting stable features of stripe pattern and classifying the extracted features, Kohonen neural network is used to classify such bead shapes. The experimental results show accurate classification performance of the proposed method.

An influence measure known as Cook's distance has been used for judging the influence of each observation on the least squares estimate of the parameter vector. The distance does not reflect the distributional property of the change in the least squares estimator of the regression coefficients due to case deletions: the distribution has a covariance matrix of rank one and thus it has a support set determined by a line in the multidimensional Euclidean space. As a result, the use of Cook's distance may fail to correctly provide information about influential observations, and we study some reasons for the failure. Three illustrative examples will be provided, in which the use of Cook's distance fails to give the right information about influential observations or it provides the right information about the most influential observation. We will seek some reasons for the wrong or right provision of information.

Frost ring formed in the secondary xylem of Pinus radiata was examined using various microscopic techniques. Cell walls in a frost ring were poorly developed, lacking in the proportion of wall components. Formation of secondary cell wall was imperfect and thickness of secondary wall was varied. Cytochemical examinations provided the evidence that the synthesis of structural polysaccharides and lignin was inhibited, resulting in the malformation of secondary cell walls. Judging by the highly irregular nature of the cell wall, it appears that cellulosic/hemicellulosic framework was affected and the template for lignification by frost.

For the effective operation of complex dyeing wastewater treatment plant, the biodegradability of various dyeing agents were investigated. For experiments in biodegradability, activated sludge from aeration tank of wastewater treatment plant was used. Biodegradability of dyeing agents were compared by measuring the $BOD_5/COD_{Cr}$ ratios and $BOD_5$ removal efficiency. $COD_{Cr}$. removal efficiency of dyeing agents was less than 80% , while $BOD_5$ removal efficiency was less than 60% after of days. Therefore, biodegradation by activated sludge were found very difficult. Judging from this, it is necessary to isolate strains biodegrading dyeing agents in order to operate activated sludge process safely.

Inventory survey is process collecting data about cut slope. It's different from inspection. It contains not only basic information about cut slope, especially location, GPS positioning, height, length, weathering, joint direction, water conditions but also level of danger and damage. Collected data are being used get at status about cut slope along national roads. And It helps judging about priority of detailed investigation. According to results of analysis, we found better method about maintenance of cut slope. Later on, if inventory research is finished, we will understand characteristics of collapse slopes.

This paper presents a three dimensional modeling and dynamic analysis of a hydraulic excavator. An excavator composed of a boom, a bucket, two boom cylinders, an arm cylinder, and a bucket cylinder is used for the analysis. Each cylinder is modeled to two separate bodies linked by a translational joint. Judging from the actual degrees of freedom of the excavator, proper kinematic joints are selected to exclude redundant constraints in the modeling. In order to find the reaction forces at kinematic joints during operations, inverse dynamic analysis is carried out. Dynamic analysis is also carried out to verify the results from inverse dynamic analysis. The DADS program is used for analysis, with proper modification of the DADS user routine according to various motions.

The effects of adiabatic flame temperature and mass flux on deuterium fluoride(DF) chemical laser performance were investigated. The power flux and specific power, which are important parameters containing the information of scaling effects of laser device magnitude, and chemical efficiency were selected as a judging parameter of DF laser performance. For the specific power, it was decreased by the increase of power flux of DF laser. Higher the adiabatic flame temperature of atomic fluorine generator, higher the chemical efficiency of DF laser was changed. It seems that the mass flux effect on the chemical efficiency is not remarkable.

스팸메일은 최근 전 세계적으로 사회문제가 되고 있으며, 이에 대한 차단 솔루션에 대한 개발 제품이 출시되고 있다. 본 논문은 기존 스팸메일 방지 솔루션을 설치 형태에 따른 분류, 장단점 분석과 스팸의 판정 법에 따른 분류 고찰하였다. 이에 기존 스팸메일 솔루션의 문제점을 도출하고 현재 적용되지 않은 새로운 필터링 방법인 URL Prefetch 방식을 새롭게 제안하고 이에 따른 방법에 의한 실험을 통한 스팸메일 차단 상승효과를 도출하고, 또한 HTML 유형 방식에 의한 차단방법도 함께 제안한다.
