  • This study analyzed the correlations between variables like characteristics related to admission, academic achievement, obtainment of a radiological technology license. A majority of participants were from Daegu and academic high schools. Many participants were accepted by general admission selection, and their reason to apply to Daegu Health College was high graduate employment. Their selection for the academic program was made by their parents and themselves. Those who took the same course twice held 35.1%, and those who got an academic warning took 8.5%. The degree of participants' academic achievement showed somewhat low, and they had difficulty in taking their major courses. The average grade for admission was lower in a following selection order: college graduates, general, special, and rural areas. The admission selections and taking science courses in high school showed little significant correlations with obtainment of a radiological technology license. However, the obtainment of the license had significant correlations with retaking the same course, getting an academic warning, and the degree of academic achievement. The results also revealed that the obtainment of the license had little significant correlations with a part-time job experience, having a boy/girlfriend, and student club participation, but it had significant correlations with accommodations and study club participation. In conclusion, it is important to point out that radiological technology graduates' obtainment of a license is closely related with the degree of their academic achievement and their college life.

  • Quality of life for people living with HIV/AIDS is significant as it concerns the treatment process, survival rate, HIV/AIDS prevention and treatment as well. Prevalent prejudice in our society significantly lowers the quality of patient's life. There is a need for an intervention and the effort to eliminate the stigma in order to lessen the negative effects as well. However, there are very few researches that examine the quality of life when it comes to people living with HIV/AIDS; even less when it comes to research that examines the stigma that affects the quality of life negatively. Therefore, this research seeks to verify the moderating effects of social support that seek to eliminate the stigma upon the quality of life in people living with HIV/AIDS. Research had been conducted with 102 people living with HIV/AIDS and the balancing effect of the social effort was verified through hierarchical regression analysis and a simple slope test. As the result of the research, control variables such as educational level and whether the patient has a job or not have significant effect and the stigma that the patient is aware of has significant negative effect. Social support had positive effect in quality of life and that it has a moderating effect on stigma which in turn affects the quality of life. Based on these results, social work related implications that were suggested are as follows; need for information and education as to better the quality of life for people living with HIV/AIDS and eliminate the social stigma and that group support program based on the local community which is needed for social support. Further research was advised based on the limitations of this research.

  • This is an empirical study that analyzes factors affecting the work-family compatibility of female wage workers with underage children. The analysis was conducted with 1,113 women from the 7th wave of the Korean Longitudinal Survey of Women & Families by Korean Women's Development Institute. As for research methods, multiple regression analysis was used in order to analyze the effects of 'social support(home support, maternity protection support, childcare and education services)', 'job characteristics', 'socio-demographic variables' and 'husband characteristics' on 'work-family compatibility and conflict'. As a result, it was analyzed that the husband's support for work life, gender inequality at work and women's educational training were the factors that strengthen work-family compatibility. It was also analyzed that gender inequality, use of childcare and education facility, number of underage children, age of husband, husband's satisfaction with caring support and husband's support for work life were the factors that cause conflict between work and family. Thus, if the policy of strengthening the work-family compatibility is a long-term policy, it appears that it is necessary to supplement and strengthen policies that can reduce conflict factors in the short term. It is hoped that the results of the study will be used as objective and academic data to strengthen the maternity protection and work-family compatibility of female workers with underage children.

  • The study analyzes the relationship between demand, satisfaction, and perception for non-face-to-face continuing medical education(CME) conducted in 2020 for 225 radiological technologist license holders working in the Busan area, and the factors that influence the positive perception of CME. T-test and one way ANOVA were used, and stepwise multiple regression analysis was performed. As a result, there were high demands for mobile publicity, professional radiological technologist, educational expenses support from institution heads, and CME. Male radiological technologist, over 50 years of age, and the more experienced they had a job chance, the more they had a positive perception. In the correlation between variables, the perception of the education system and the need for education showed a positive correlation. The higher the satisfaction with the education system, the higher the perception of the need for education. About 53% of the content was satisfied. Therefore, in order to raise awareness of CME, it is considered that policy changes to the education system are necessary first of all. It is considered that the search for the development of education content and educational content is necessary above all.

  • In this study aviation authority officials were classified into four cultural groups according to culture theory, and then questioned to determine the effects of cultural bias on their social acceptance of a new air traffic flow management system. Based on previous studies, cultural biases were categorized as egalitarianistic, individualistic, fatalistic, and hierarchical, and social acceptances were considered to be influenced by four variables, that is, perceptions of usefulness, work attitude, intention to use, and behavior (job absorption). Empirical analysis showed that hierarchy had a significant positive effect on social acceptance, and egalitarianism was found to have a significant positive effect on social acceptance with 95% credibility. We propose the organizational culture of Korean government be changed to accept the diverse opinions of government officials during the implementation phase of the new system recommended by ICAO.

  • This study aimed to empirically analyze the factors that influence newlyweds' housing tenure. For this, a questionnaire survey was conducted among newlyweds living nationwide who had been married for 5 years or less and were under the age of 40. The results of the survey were empirically analyzed by applying various variables. With regard to parental financial support among the factors influencing newlyweds' housing tenure, the analysis results showed that the probability of owner occupancy was high among the households with parental financial support than among those with none, and the larger the size of the parental financial support was, the higher the probability that the newlyweds owned the house they were occupying. As for the housing loan variable, it was found that the probability of owner occupancy was high among the newlyweds with a housing loan than among those with none, and the larger the amount of the newlyweds' housing loan was, the higher the probability that they owned the house they were occupying. As opposed to what is generally recognized, however, the survey showed that the higher the ratio of dual earners is, the lower the owner occupancy probability due to the probability of job transition, etc. In addition, it was found that the probability of owner occupancy for the newlyweds living in Seoul was lower than that for the newlyweds living in other regions in South Korea. Accordingly, this study showed that appropriate levels of parental economic indicators should also be reflected in the stable housing support and loan policies for newlyweds in the context that the succession to their parents' fortunes is generalized.

Data collection was conducted from May 01, 2018 to May 31, 2018. 209 nursing in long-term care hospital in this study. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS Win 21.0 program. The embeddedness of the subjects was $2.91{\pm}.473$ points out of 5, burnout was $2.86{\pm}.480$ points out of 5 and presenteeism was $2.95{\pm}.449$ points out of 5. The embeddedness was related to burnout(r= -466, p<.001), presenteeism(r=.152, p<.005), there was a significant positive correlation. Burnout(${\beta}=.244$, p<.001), embeddedness(${\beta}=.183$, p=.016), experiences of turnover(${\beta}=-.251$, p=.003), night shifts(${\beta}=-.187$, p=.006), and number of turnover(${\beta}=-.037$, p<.001) had a significant effect on presenteeism(F=5.227, p<.001). The explanatory power of these variables was 33%.
