복막투석 환자를 위한 표준화된 간호교육 프로토콜의 개발 (Development of a Standardized Education Protocol for Peritoneal Dialysis Patients)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to develop a standardized education protocol for peritoneal dialysis patients. Methods: First, the demand for education was investigated from the 27 patients on peritoneal dialysis and 16 guardians, and later, the standardized nursing education protocol has been developed through the comprehensive literature review and the critical analysis of the related studies. Contents validity and applicability have been tested through the expert group survey. Results: The standardized peritoneal dialysis nursing education protocol with 9 areas and 20 items has been developed. The content validity for timing and duration, contents, method, and place of education proposed by the protocol were all above than 0.8. In terms of the applicability of the protocol, the experts scored between 4.20 to 4.93 for all items except one. The item on home visit education acquired the lowest applicability score, because there might exist potential restrictions in visiting patient's home. Conclusion: The standardized education protocol developed in this study turned out to be adequate by representing high content validity for all items and the applicability also was high except the item on home visit education. Further researches to test the effects of this education protocol should be done.

유아기 부모의 수학적 상호작용 척도 개발 및 타당화 연구 (The Development and Validation of a Scale to Measure the Mathematical Interaction of Young Children's Parents)

  • This study aimed to develop and validate a scale which could be used to evaluate mathematical interactions of parents with their young children. The subjects comprised 408 mothers of 4-6-year-old children. Means, standard deviation, $x^2$, Cramer's V, exploratory factor analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, Pearson correlations, and Cronbach's ${\alpha}$ were calculated. First, 49 items were developed through a review of relevant research, parent interviews, confirmation of item adequacy and content validity. These items were then edited down to a final list of 24 items representing 4 factors identified by exploratory factor analysis. Second, this 24-item. 4-factor scale was shown to have adequate construct validity, norm validity, and reliability by confirmatory factor analysis, Pearson correlation analysis, Cronbach's ${\alpha}$. In conclusion, the final mathematical interaction scale for young children's parents was composed of 24 items with 4 factors: "interaction regarding numbers and operations, measurements, and patterns", "interaction regarding data collection and result presentation", "interaction with picture books", and "interaction regarding shapes and figures"

Evaluating Perceived Smartness of Product from Consumer's Point of View: The Concept and Measurement

  • Due to the rapid development of IT (information technology) and internet, products become smart and able to collect, process and produce information and can think of themselves to provide better service to consumers. However, research on the characteristics of smart product is still sparse. In this paper, we report the systemic development of a scale to measure the perceived product smartness associated with smart product. To develop product smartness scale, this study follows systemic scale development processes of item generation, item reduction, scale validation, reliability and validity test consequently. And, after acquiring a large amount of qualitative interview data asking the definition of smart product, we add a unique process to reduce the initial items using both a text mining method using 'r' s/w and traditional reliability and validity tests including factor analysis. Based on an initial qualitative inquiry and subsequent quantitative survey, an eight-factor scale of product smartness is developed. The eight factors are multi-functionality, human-like touch, ability to cooperate, autonomy, situatedness, network connectivity, integrity, and learning capability consequently. Results from Korean samples support the proposed measures of product smartness in terms of reliability, validity, and dimensionality. Implications and directions for further study are discussed. The developed scale offers important theoretical and pragmatic implications for researchers and practitioners.

영유아용 (만 2세~5세) 발달검사 개발을 위한 예비연구 (A Preliminary Study on the Development of a Developmental Test for Toddlers and Preschoolers)

  • This study aimed to develop a reliable and valid developmental test for toddlers and preschoolers. A trial form of the test with 230 items in 5 domains(cognitive, physical, language, social, and self-help) was constructed and administered to 200 children from 2 to 5-year-olds. Item analysis indicated that most items selected in cognitive, physical, and indicated domain were acceptable in terms of item response rate and item discrimination. However, some items in social and self-help domain did not show clear age trends in item response, but mostly were adequate in item discrimination. Based on item analysis, 112 items were selected for the final form : 24 items each for the cognitive, physical, and language domain; 20 items each for the social and self-help domain. Reliability indicated by internal consistency coefficients(KR-20) were high in all domains. Validity of the test was supported by inter-correlations among 5 domains(.61 to .93), and significant age differences in domain scores.

공학계열 대학생 물리 기초학력평가 문항분석 및 성취수준 설정 사례연구 (A Case Study on Item Analysis and Standard Setting of the Physics Basic Ability Test for Engineering College Students)

  • This study is to examine the validity of assessing basic-level proficiency in physics among incoming engineering freshmen through item analysis and standard setting. For empirical analysis, we examined the physics subject taken by the freshman class of 2021 at K University, considering its significance for engineering students. In this study, we initially performed item analysis utilizing both classical test theory and item response theory. Subsequently, leveraging the item and test information, we employed a modified Angoff method and the Bookmark method for standard setting. Consequently, the difficulty level initially set during item development was found to be higher than the actual performance level exhibited by the students. This study highlights a discernible disparity between the expected university standard and the real proficiency level of incoming freshmen in terms of basic academic ability in physics. Based on these research findings, a comprehensive discussion on the fundamental academic competence of engineering students was conducted, underscoring the necessity for formulating a tailored learning approach leveraging the outcomes from the basic ability test.

한국어판 플러턴 어드밴스드 균형 척도의 라쉬분석 (Application of Rasch Analysis to the Korean Version of the Fullerton Advanced Balance Scale)

  • Background: Rasch analysis estimates the probability that a respondent will endorse an item and select a particular rating for that item. It has the advantage of placing both the items and the person along a single ration scale and calibrates person ability and item difficulty onto an interval scale by logits. In addition, Rasch analysis is a useful tool for exploring the validity of questionnaires that have been developed using traditional methods. Therefore, it has been recommended as a method for developing and evaluating functional outcome measures. Objects: The purpose of this study was to investigate the item fit, item difficulty, and rating scale of the Korean version of the Fullerton Advanced Balance Scale (KFAB) using Rasch analysis. Methods: Total 97 subjects (39 males and 58 females) with dwelling elderly adults were participated, but 3 people were excluded for misfit persons. Rasch analysis was then done by means of the Winsteps program to determine the item fit, item difficulty, rating scale, and reliability of the KFAB. Results: In this study, the 'standing with feet together and eyes closed', 'two-footed jump', 'walk with head turns', and 'stand on foam, eyes closed' items shown misfit statistics. The most difficult item was 'stand on one leg', whereas the easiest item was 'turn in full circle'. The rating scale was acceptable with all criteria. Both item and person separation indices and reliability showed acceptable values. This would indicated that each domain covers a useful range of item difficulty that is appropriate for measuring a person with a wide range of functional ability. Conclusion: The KFAB has been proven reliable, valid and an appropriate tool with which to evaluate the balance of the elderly people.

융합적 측면에서의 재난간호대비·대응역량 측정도구 개발 (Development of the Disaster Nursing Preparedness·Response Competency(DNPRC) Scale in terms of Convergence)

  • 본 연구는 융합적 측면에서의 간호사의 재난에 대한 대비 대응역량을 측정하기 위한 도구를 개발하고 타당도와 신뢰도를 검증하기 위해 시행되었다. ICN Framework of the Disaster Nursing Competencies를 바탕으로하여 국내 문헌 고찰을 통해 문항을 구성하였으며, 간호사 291명을 대상으로 내용타당도, 구성타당도, 수렴타당도와 신뢰도를 검정하였다. 대비역량과 대응역량을 각각 탐색적 요인분석과 확인적 요인분석을 시행하였으며, 수렴타당도는 간호사 재난대비상태 측정도구(DPQ-N)와의 상관관계를 Pearson's correlation test로 분석하였다. 본 연구결과, 재난간호대비 대응역량 측정도구는 5점 Likert 척도로서, 대비역량 3개 영역의 16문항, 대응역량 4개 영역의 18문항의 총 34문항으로 구성되었으며, 신뢰도는 Cronbach's ${\alpha}=.96$이었다. 본 연구는 향후 간호사의 재난간호역량을 확인하고 관련요인을 파악하는 연구와, 간호사의 재난간호역량 향상을 위한 간호중재개발에 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

한국형 스켈링공포(KSF 1.0)의 측정도구 개발 및 관련요인 (Development of Measurement Scale for Korean Scaling Fear-1.0 and Related Factors)

  • 본 연구는 한국의 문화와 실정에 맞는 한국형 스켈링공포에 관한 측정도구를 개발하기 위해 2008년 11월 연구 대상자 720명을 대상으로 개방형 질문을 통해 문항을 수집하였고( 1차 조사), 2008년 12월과 2009년 1월에 스켈링 환자 110명을 대상으로 사전조사를 실시하여 측정도구의 영역설정 및 문항선정을 통해 1차 도구를 개발하였으며 (2차 조사), 2009년 2~3월에 연구대상자 720명에게 설문조사하여 최종적으로 4개 영역과 19개 문항을 결정함으로서 최종적으로 측정도구를 개발하였다. 문항수준 분석결과에서 결측치는 0.003%로 기준의 20%보다 낮아 양호했고, 검사-재검사 신뢰도 검중에서 상관계수가 0.92 이상으로 높았으며, 짝비교 t-검증도 조사 전후 간에 유의한 차이가 없어 신뢰도가 높았다. 문항 내적일치도 역시 전체 영역 내 상관계수 범위가 0.39~0.95로 높았으며, 항목판별타당도는 영역 간 상관계수가 0.56이하로 유의하였다. 영역수준의 분석결과 3개 영역의 평균 범위는 2.06~2.33 이었고 예상치 못한 신체반응의 공포영역은 1.29 이었다. 각 영역의 바닥치와 천장치는 각각 4.3%와 6.8%로 기준의 20% 보다 낮아 적합했고, 요인분석에서 일부 영역의 요인이 단일요인으로 묶이는 것을 제외하연, 각 영역별 문항이 동일 요인으로 묶여졌으며, 확인적 요인분석 결과에서 전반적으로 모형 합치도가 높았다. 스켈링 경험유무별 스켈링공포의 종속변수에 유의하게 영향을 미치는 연수분석에서 스켈링 경험자는 성별과 칫솔방법이 유의성이 있었고, 비 경험자는 성별, 교육수준, 칫솔방법, 그리고 일주 당 운동량 등이 유의했다. 이상으로 본 연구는 스켈링공포에 관한 측정도구를 총 4개 영역 19개 문항을 개발하였다. 향후 개발된 도구는 여러 집단을 대상으로 재평가를 받아 일반화 되어야 할 것이며, 이들 환자들에게 적용함으로서 정기적인 스켈링을 통한 구강보건향상에 기여할 것으로 판단된다.

사회적지지 측정도구의 신뢰도와 타당도 연구 (A Social Support Measure : Reliability and Validity)

  • The purpose of the study was to determine the convergent validity, discriminant validity and internal consistancy reliability of the social support and family support measuring tool. Two procedures were used : 1) Campbell and Fiske's multitrait-multimethod approach and item total correlation with Chronbach's $\alpha$. The result suggest that SNM, NSSQ, SNM/family, NSSQ/famliy is a valid and a reliable instrument for measuring social support. But PRQ part2 is low in convergent validity. The results further suggest that we have to more attention to a valid and reliable likert type scale for social support.

노인의 성공적 노화 측정도구에 대한 요인 구성타당도 평가 (Accessing Factor Structure and Construct Validity of the Successful Aging Inventory)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the reliability and validity of the Korean version of the Successful Aging Inventory (SAI-K) to determine its suitability for use with older Korean adults. Methods: Exploratory and confirmatory factor analyses were utilized to assess the factor structure and the construct validity of the SAI-K. First- and second-order Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) were conducted to identify the most adequate model. Cronbach's alpha was used to test the reliability. Results: Using a second-order CFA, a four-factor structure was validated (${\chi}^2$=122.82, p<.001, GFI=.92, AGFI=.88, SRMR=.06 RMSEA=.07, 90% CI=.05-.09, CFI=.93). The four-factor SAI-K showed reliable internal consistency with a Cronbach's alpha for the total scale of .86. Conclusion: The four-factor, 13-item SAI-K showed satisfactory reliability and validity and, thus, has the potential to be an appropriate instrument for measuring successful aging in older Korean adults.
