Jacket is the basic formal dress for working women, and one of the most frequently worn by them. It has, however, some problems caused by movement, depending on how well it fits. To improve fitness of jacket, this study compared and evaluated the state of fitness objectively by employing a numerical system in relation with clothing and body. We made three experimental jackets based on the previous jacket patterns and used Moire Photo-graphy to measure the amounts of space between clothes and body from the overlap cross section map. The results obtained from this study were summarized as follows; 1. According to the measurement result of the pattern by using the One-dimension measurement, the amount of ease in girth item for pattern B was larger than the other two patterns. The amounts of space of each part showed the difference of the positions of princess lines, and the different sizes of the darts. 2. From the result of Moire Photography, the wearing shapes of the experimental jackets were influenced by the characteristics of somatotype. In addition, we could analyze the differences of the patterns with Moire Photography. 3. The amounts of space for waist part was larger than those for other parts. Pattern B scored the largest amount of space for all parts compared with pattern A and C. 4. For only waist part, there existed a significant difference in the average amount of space for the three patterns.
The objective of the study was to evaluate nutritional balance for fast foods selected by middle and high school students using INQ (Index of Nutritional Quality). A thousan students that is 0.09% of the population (middle and high school students in Seoul) were surveyed from January 21 to February 10 in 1989. A total of 835 subjects excluding incomplete answer were analyzed. All statistical data analyses were conducted using the SPSS. Fifty kinds of fast foods were analyzed for nutrient values calculation. INQ and % of std. values of selected fast food combination were calculated, and % of std. were charted with each first letter of menu items by using GW-BASIC program. Satiety of fast foods was low in hamburger and pizza chain, high in noodle chain. 66.3% of the subjects ate fast foods snack, 29.2% for meals and 6% for beverages. Protein content of hamburger sold in Korea by American brand name was insufficient compared to the data published in the U.S. for the same brand's menu item. As a result of INQ evaluation, the desirable case of both 'nutritious' and 'fitness for a meal' was only appeared in selecting several menu items at once. A total of 59% of combined fast foods surveyed were revealed as 'nutritious'. Both 'nutritious' and 'fitness for a meal' was 10.4% and 'nutritious' was 48.6%, 'Unfitness for a meal' but 'nutritious' was 48.6% and 'undernutritious' was 37%. Thus a total of 85.6% was 'unfitness for a meal'. 'Undernutritious' but 'fitness for a meal' was 3.5%

PURPOSE: To evaluate the usability of a kiosk-based healthcare service that provides a fitness evaluation and customized exercise program for elderly or chronic musculoskeletal system patients. METHODS: To evaluate the usability of the customized exercise service program, healthy adults (n=20) from Welfare B, located in Gwangju, were selected and studied. Subjective safety, operability, and satisfaction of individual users were obtained as data by distributing questionnaires to subjects who experienced this program and having them fill out the questionnaire. For descriptive statistics related to the survey, frequency analysis was used to determine the frequency and ratio of the variable values of the measurement items. RESULTS: As a result of the usability evaluation, the average score was 4.166, and the average score of each item was 4.025 for safety, 4.272 for operability, and 4.143 for satisfaction. Most users obtained high satisfaction and positive impressions. CONCLUSION: The HARUFIT service, a user-customized exercise program used in this study, can be developed into a device that can improve self-management ability and increase understanding of health care by providing customized exercise based on the results of physical fitness evaluation. It is possible to diversify health management methods and maximize the effect of exercise by making exercise a habit of chronic musculoskeletal disease patients or the elderly using these smart devices.
The purpose of this study is to verify the effect of positive psychological capital of fitness center trainers on emotional labor and job ability. For this purpose, as a convenient sampling method, 265 questionnaires were conducted by directly visiting a fitness center in the metropolitan area, and item analysis, validity analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis were applied to the collected data. As a result of the analysis, the following conclusions were obtained. First, in the relationship between positive psychological capital and emotional labor, it exerted a meaningful influence on hope and optimism in deep acting and superficial acting. Next, in the relationship between positive psychological capital and job competency, leadership ability is self-efficacy, hope, management ability is optimism, hope, counseling ability is hope, optimism, self-efficacy, PR ability is self-efficacy, optimism, and program operation ability is optimism. exerted a significant influence on elasticity. In relation to emotional labor and job competency, counseling ability exerted a significant influence only in deep acting, and in leadership ability, management ability, PR ability, and program operation ability, deep acting and surface acting exercised a significant influence. In the future, it is necessary to study the characteristics and properties of trainers as emotional labor and follow-up studies on improvement measures.
The purpose of the study was to suggest ways of improvement of the present sizing systems for the middle aged women's clothing. For this, a questionnaire survey for the aged group and calculating coverage rate of one garment item(suit) between the companies has been carried out. The data was analyzed with use of SPSS package. The statistics were based o frequency, X2-test, t-test and one-way ANOVA. The results of the study was as follows: 1. In case of survey for middle aged women, the problems concerning the length and abdominal girth were found, that is to say, the former too long and the latter too tight. 2. The sizing systems between companies were very different in size classification and standard deviation of each sizes. 3. In calculating coverage rate of the 10 companies's sizing systems, coverage rate of the smallest size in each were the highest and those of the biggest were 0%. It means the standard deviation of the present sizing systems are not enough to cover the various body form of the middle aged women, so that the more diverse sizing system is required for the better fitness of middle aged women's clothing.
Pants is an item of clothes of which physical suitability for improvement of appearance and movement is greatly emphasized. The pattern design of pants is very important because the fitness of crotch region, which is difficult to measure, is structurally essential in pants. This study gives detailed pattern development data for the future pattern design by considering design factors related with crotch region of pants and by suggesting related data. For this study, we measured and analyzed the measuring size of each parts of pattern and the design methods related with crotch region selecting 20 textbooks used in universities and institutes of higher education. Through this study, crotch region of pants pattern related design data were obtained and this result could be a primary information in development and education of pants pattern.

The purpose of this study is to find fitness of brassiere by means of body measuring value, its variation volume, the evaluation of perceptive image, and the evaluation of the sense of wearing. The results were as follows; 1) According to comparison for body measuring value before and after wearing brassiere, bust point (B.P.) height, lower bust height, upper chest circumference, chest circumference, and bust depth are increased, and lower chest circumference, bust point breadth, shoulder middle point - B.P., B.P. -under bust, and cup horizontal girth are decreased. 2) The difference of variation volume by material is not accepted. The part above $20\%$ at variation rate is under the region of the armpit, that is, the region connected arm from the back. 3) The subjects replied that they wore the brassiere in order to compensate the breast and needed to wear it regardless of thiness and obesity. They wore the brassiere in order to dress themselves in good shape, and felt that it put pressure upon the body, while it had nothing to do with adjusting bodily temperature and gave the sense of security. 4) The estimate of the sense of wearing by material is recognized as the difference of the attention at attentive level $1\%$. The multiple factor analysis of each item in the sense of wearing showed that the items which are explained over $90\%$ by common factors are '1. Unpreasant in touch', '2. The part of edge is haggard', '15. Not to be fit'.

The purpose of this study is to improve the fitness of clothes by producing patterns considering body proportions at a time of producing clothes for export through extracting factors comprising body types and conducting comparative analysis of proportions by body part using body indexes of Korean women in their 20s living in both Korea and foreign countries. The study results are as follows. Factor analysis by group was conducted for body indexes in order to examine body types of Koreans living overseas. As a results, six factors were extracted from all of three groups; Joseonjok(Koreans living in China), Goryeoin(Koreans living in Russia) and Korean residents in Japan, and their explanatory powers were 60.42%, 63.62%, 63.15%, respectively. Obesity factor was extracted as the 1st factor, and the groups showed differences in other factors. As a result of proportion comparison using body indexes of Koreans living in foreign countries and Korea, it was found that, in height item, when regarding the height as 100, the length of the lower part of the body was long in the order of Goryeoin. Joseonjok, Koreans living in Korea and Korean residents in Japan. Also in width item, when regarding the waist as a standard, it was observed that Joseonjok people have the shoulders, the breasts and the hips that look relatively wider comparing with the width of the waists because they have very narrow waists and the width between shoulder length is big. In addition, the study examined proportions of the breast thickness/the breast width, the waist thickness/the waist width, the hip thickness/the hip width to height. From the analysis, it was found that breasts of Koreans living in Korea are flattest while their waists are slender, and Goryeoin and Joseonjok have round body shapes from the waist to the breast.

PFI(Private Finance Initiative) Project is carried to expand infrastructure effectively through participation of private investment. From the year 2005, the range is expanded not only industrial infrastructure such as made road, harbors and so on but living infrastructure such as school facilities, environmental facilities. For this reason BTL(Build-Transfer-Lease) system is mainly used in new private finance initiative project but in existing private finance initiative project BTO(Build-Transfer-Operate) system was used. BTL system is operated to judge fitness of private investment and classified into quantitative VFM(Value for Money) and qualitative VFM. In this research the estimation item of qualitative VFM which is hard to deduce the effect is created and after surveying of questionnaire in target of experts, relative importance and weight is established with AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process). By estimating efficiency and benefit of quantitative VFM and qualitative VFM aspect effectively it is expected to support a rational making decision for operating BTL.
This study was made to draft the tight fitting bodice pattern which horizontal and perpendicular stands are to be lightly set, with the consideration of characteristics of body shape in design of clothes. Measurement of body was conducted on 53 women in twenties, and observation was made on surface development pattern by adhesive tape addition method and gypsum method on three standard objects. In the study, bodice pattern was completed by using already made Somato- measurer, compared with existing bodice pattern, and the results are as follows. The result of the correlation analysis by body measurement shows that chest circumference has a relation to B$.$P-front neck point, side neck point, shoulder point, front interscye breadth point, and the item in spine scapulae point has relation to the item of back neck line, and front & back horizontal values. The degree of shoulder slant, width of armhole and of its depth, the amount of breast, back space, back length were shown to be directly measured from the body. In surface development pattern, tight-fit bodice pattern necessary to the breast volume and back space were shown to be investigated and these volume have to be given in setting up basic line for clothes design together with body measurement value. The result of sensory evaluation for appearance test on fitness shows higher value of research bodice including line of shoulder line, front and back interscye breadth, chest circumference, waist circumference, armhole circumference and of its depth, compared with the research bodice in most items. The result of this study is seen showing high effectiveness for the basic data to design the ready-made dress of high sensitivity of high value added tat.
