$Ni^{2+}$와 D-penicillamine사이의 착물형성반응에 대한 반응속도 및 평형에 관한 수용액중에서 실시하였다. 속도론적 실험은 압력-급변법을 사용하여 pH8~9범위에서 실시하였다. D-Penicillamine은 질소와 유황원자를 주게로 하여 pH＞9.2조건에서 $Ni^{2+}$이온에 배위하나 pH값 8.25∼9.07범위에서 총괄 안정도 상수값이 급격히 감소하며 비해리된 mercapto기가 결합에 참여하지 않는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 또한 이 착물 형성반응에 있어 율속단계는 $Ni^{2+}$이온의 내부 배위권으로 부터 물분자가 유리되는 과정임이 밝혀졌다.

모양의 캘릭스[4]아릴에스터 호스트(1)와 그것의 알칼리 금속 양이온과의 착물에 대하여 이론적인 적외선 흡수 스펙트럼들이 계산되었다. 진동 스펙트럼들은 RHF/6-31G 방법으로 최적화 된 후에 얻어졌다. 1+Na+ 착물의 여러 가지 C-O와 C=O 신축 운동들의 특징적인 진동수들은 C2v 형태의 분자 모양을 입증하여 주는 데에 반하여, 1+K+ 착물의 구조는 C4v에 가깝다는 것을 보여 주었다. 호스트 분자(1)와 1+Na+ 착물에 대한 이론적인 결과와 실험 스펙트럼들을 비교하였을 때, 계산된 진동수들이 실험 데이터와 잘 일치하는 것을 알 수 있었다.

We fabricated an IMI-O polymer containing an imidazole group that could form a complex structure between the monolayer and the metal ions at the air-water interface. Also, the surface analysis and the electrical properties of metal ion complex of Langmuir-Blodgett (LB) films were investigated by using $\pi$-A isotherms. Atomoic force microscopy (AFM), current-voltage (I-V) measurements. In the $\pi$-A isotherms the molecular area was expanded with $Fe^{3+}$ concentration increase. It is considered that the expansion of molecular area is due to electrostatic repulsion between the polymer chains and hydrophobic increase of ionic strength. In the I-V characteristics, it is found that the limiting area has effects on the change of conductivity. And, the dielectric relaxation time decreased for increase of the $Fe^{3+}$ concentration.

The effect of benzalkonium chloride on skin permeability of partially modified antisense phosphorothioate oligonucleotides (PS-ODN), which are designed as scar formation inhibitor, was investigated using Franz Diffusion Cell. When the concentration ratio of PS-ODN-quarternary ammonium salt complex is more than 1:100, the apparent partition coefficient (APC) of each complex was increased in the following order; tetraphenyl phosphonium chloride (TPP) < cetyltrimethyl ammonium bromide(CTAB) < benzalkonium chloride (BZ). The permeability of PS-ODN through the rat skin increased in the presence of BZ. The fluxs of PS-ODN with BZ were increased by addition of Pluronic F 68 or Triton X-100 to phosphate buffered saline (PBS), respectively. When the mole ratio of PS-ODN to BZ is 1:10, the fluxs penetrated of PS-ODN with BZ was greatest. The increase of the permeability in the presence of BZ might be due to the formation of lipophilic ion-pair complex between PS-ODN and BZ. By regulation of mole ratio of PS-ODN to BZ, the development of topical dosage forms using PS-ODN as scar formation inhibitor will be possible with minimal systemic exposure.

For the colorimetric determination of Sulfa-drugs by means of solvent extraction, the sample solutions were added into dimethylglyoxime-Fe(II) complex solution, and extracted with pyridine-chloroform mixture (1:50) is a range of pH 7.5-8.5. The extracted solution shows stability and maximum absorption at 402m${\mu}$.

A series of novel 1,3-alternate calix[4]-mono-thiacrown and -bis-thiacrowns were synhesized within good yields. The three dimensional 1,3-alternate conformation was confimed by X-ray crystal structure. From the results of two phase extraction and NMR studies on the ligand-metal complex, one can conclude that the calix[4]thiacrown ethers showed the very high selectivity for silver ion over other metal ions by an electrostatic interaction between sulfur atom and silver ion and by a $\pi-metal$ complexation.
