This paper presents an investigation into factors influencing the level of prostate specific antigens (PSAs) in men with a focus on abdominal obesity. Data were collected from the exam results and medical records of male clients that visited a university hospital in Suwon for a general check-up. The data of total 1,039 were put to frequency analysis, descriptive statistics, independent-sample t-test, one-way ANOVA, chi-squared test, and multiple regression analysis. The subjects were men in their twenties to in their seventies. The study analyzed whether there would be differences in mean PSAs according to the characteristics of the subjects and found significant differences according to age, BMI, and waist. The findings indicate that abdominal obesity influences the level of PSAs in men and that men with abdominal obesity should not neglect the level of PSAs even in the normal range.

An investigation is carried out for the roles of the synoptic meteorology in governing $SO_2$ concentrations in Seoul during the wintertime. This study has used the daily records of wind and temperature measured at the Korea Meteorological Administration in Seoul. A one-dimensional diffusion model has been used for investigating the influence of the mixing height on the diurnal variation of concentration. The day to day variations of the concentration are well correlated with those of wind and temperature. The diurnal variation of the concentration is dictated by the variation of mixing height. It is also found that mesoscale wind field is required to explain the mesoscale distribution of the concentration.

Over recent years the offshore wind turbines are becoming more feasible solution to the energy problem, which is crucial for Egypt. In this article a three floating support structure, tension leg platform types (TLP), for 5-MW wind turbine have been considered. The dynamic behavior of a triangular, square, and pentagon TLP configurations under multi-directional regular and random waves have been investigated. The environmental loads have been considered according to the Egyptian Metrological Authority records in northern Red sea zone. The dynamic analysis were carried out using ANSYS-AQWA a finite element analysis software, FAST a wind turbine dynamic software, and MATLAB software. Investigation results give a better understanding of dynamical behavior and stability of the floating wind turbines. Results include time history, Power Spectrum densities (PSD's), and plan stability for all configurations.

Most of the agricultural structures are in shortage of feasible facility management because these structures are small in size and spacially distributed in rural area. Inspection tools based on visual inspections are generally used for agricultural structures in most of the countries, including Korea. It is necessary to survey data of the irrigation structures to maintain records, and to develop the interface program by constructing database of inspection data. This study was conducted to develop a system for safe appraisal and repair works on agricultural irrigation structures. Repair and rehabilitation method can be chosen from an optimum viewpoint if the information between the method and life-cycle management cost of agricultural structures is constructed in the database. In this study, the system assisting onsite field investigation and determining the typical rehabilitation method of typical agricultural structural problems such as fractures and cracks of members was developed.

Objective : To collect cosmetology text in Shang Han Za Bing Lun(伤寒杂病论), to analyze theory and prescription about cosmetology before HAN(漢) dynasty, so to allow records for modern cosmetology of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Method : Through the systematize for all terms about cosmetology, to reveal the regularity about cosmetology before HAN(漢) dynasty. Result : There were damage-appearance disease in HAN(漢) dynasty, there are lots of ideas about cosmetology in Shang Han Za Bing Lun(伤寒杂病论). Conclusion : Shang Han Za Bing Lun(伤寒杂病论) is a monograph about pattern identification and treatment, and is an important ancient book for research of cosmetology of Traditional Chinese Medicine. In the further, we will research in knowledge discovery about cosmetology of Traditional Chinese Medicine. to strengthen the guidance of the theory of Zhang Zhongjing(张仲景) for clinical practice of cosmetology of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

본 논문은 범죄 수사 기록 문서로부터 추출한 정보를 트리플로 구성하여 특정 분야의 온톨로지를 구축하고, 더 나아가 온톨로지 기반의 검색 서비스를 구현하는 일련의 과정을 설명한다. 특히 비정형 데이터로 부터 얻어낸 정보를 통해 온톨로지를 구축하고, 이를 토대로 실제 사용할 수 있는 레벨의 서비스를 구현하는 것이 특징이다. 서비스의 성능을 확인하기 위하여 사건 검색에 대한 정확도 측정 방법 중 하나인 Top-K 방식의 정확도 측정 실험을 수행하였으며, 실험 결과 완전 일치 실험에서는 약 93.52%, 유사 필드 활용 실험에서는 약 88.91%의 결과를 얻어낼 수 있었다.

This paper describes the use of spatial interpolation for estimating seasonal crop potential evapotranspiration (PET) and irrigation water requirement in unmeasured evaporation gage stations within Edwards Aquifer, Texas using GIS. The Edwards Aquifer area has insufficient data with short observed records and rare gage stations, then, the investigation of data for determining of irrigation water requirement is difficult. This research shows that spatial interpolation techniques can be used for creating more accurate PET data in unmeasured region, because PET data are important parameter to estimate irrigation water requirement. Recently, many researchers are investigating intensively these techniques based upon mathematical and statistical theories. Especially, three techniques have well been used: Inverse Distance Weighting (IDW), spline, and kriging (simple, ordinary and universal). In conclusion, the result of this study (Table 1) shows the kriging interpolation technique is found to be the best method for prediction of unmeasured PET in Edwards aquifer, Texas.

Objectives : With increasing interests in hair cosmetic to keep their scalp and hair healthy we must have much more information about the oriental medical cosmetic goods. Methods : Shampoos which contain herbal ingredients are commonly used to stopping their hair loss, alopecia. On the basis of oriental pharmacology, we analyzed several shampoos which have herbal ingredients and thought about the oriental cosmetic methods for a hair loss. Results : We found that many herb based shampoos are developed on the basis of the principle of oriental medicine. In addition, the interest in oriental medical cosmetic methods that used the principles of the oriental medical science has been increased and cosmetic goods based on the oriental medicine have a positive market. Conclusions : With many possibilities for the oriental medical cosmetic methods, clinical records to prove scientific facts are urgently needed. In addition, the oriental medical cosmetic methods based on oriental medicine to examine scalp and hair should be offered.

An experimental investigation of smoke spread in a corridor is made using thermocouples and visualization technique with a laser beam sheet. A speed of smoke front under a ceiling is measured by thermocouple trees. Visualization of the ceiling jet formation and of smoke filling process is carried out to observe lowering of the smoke layer. From the results, a large-scale convective motion the corridor plays dominant roles for smoke spread from visualized photos together with temperature records. A circulating motion of fluid transports some smokes to some regions where its momentum is effective. It is therefore showed that the conventional concept of lowering smoke with two-layer zone model has some restrictions for the corridor because the lowering of smoke layer has been thought to be mass transport due to relatively small scale motion such as decrease of buoyancy, mass diffusion and momentum exchange.

From birth to death, every man is under the control of the three biorhythm curves that initiate from inner body. body. Those are called 'Physical rhythm, emotion I rhythm and intellectual rhythm'. These biorhythms have influence each other in human behaviour like physical endurance, creativity, record of examination. The result of investigation indicates that the students' records in low level period are lower than those of in high. Therefore, it is verified statistically whether the biorhythm has effects on human ability in scholarly record or not. And also, this research calculates the average nixed-biorhythm which is representable for a group by using mode mixed-biorhythm.
