While knowledge management (KM) needs to be introduced in order to enhance the competitiveness of Korean firms, most of the current literature focuses on defining the concept of KM and developing its framework. This research attempts to develop an introduction methodology of KM, based on four dimensions such as organization, information technology, process, and culture. The methodology was applied to firm L, which recently adopted KM. A result from the analysis of this case study shows that firm L performed well in the dimensions of organization, information technology, and culture.

The harmony with the nature and the linkage to the nature are one of the most important characteristics of korean traditional house which enables the dweller to possess the nature inside. Korean Traditional Houses are linked to the encircling natural environment and to the natural landscape through a visual structure. This study aims to find out the principle of introducing the natural landscape in korean traditional house.

The effects of regional health insurance on access to ambulatory care are examined in this paper. Access is measured as use-disability ratios. The data are collected in a household interview survey at Hwachon county before and after the introduction of regional health insurance. Before the introduction of regional health insurance, low-income class has less contacts with physicians than high-income class. This disparity in accessibility among economic classes is reduced with the health insurance coverage, but not removed, even after adjusting for health need.

The Study investigated the contexts and probable difficulties of the teaching of the number of cases and the introduction of probability concept. In our mathematical curriculum, the contexts of the teaching of probability can be classified into five cases. We suggested some intuitive diagrams to be likely to decrease the cognitive complications caused by the equal possibilities of the unit event in the cases, respectively.

Since scientific management techniques are introduced into Korea about 1958, the backwardness of Korea companies and the ignorant owners of the companies had been main obstacles in aboriginality of those techniques. With the activation of industry in 1970s, however, the adaptation of IE is also activated. This paper, although it may be slipshod, describes the present situation as well as the adaptation history of IE techniques. This is for the expected necessity of memorizing the introduction of IE in the future.

The author presents the history of introduction of biofeedback system into Korea, depending on his personal experience at the Seoul National University Hospital. He, as the witness of biofeedback applied to clinical psychiatry and research in Korea, maintains that biofeedback should receive much more attention filled with enthusiasm, particularly because of the rapid development of medical engineering backed up by the unimaginable progress of computer- and neuro-science.

This study investigated the management environment of medium and small business by examining the role of medium and small business in national economics, the change in management condition, and the problems in quality and technique. Also we analyzed problems in the past quality control activity of our medium and small business, and examined the driving direction and introduction method of QM. And to understand the effect of manager's concern in quality management to observe the quality system before and after introduction of QM. A target for this investigation is the medium and small business which has introduced QM through ISO 9000.
