  • As Internet has been spreading and popularizing, lots of industries of he society are changing their industries to be compatible to the internet. In other works may companies are investing for Electronic Commerce to change their industries....so there are lots of company to introduce electronic commerce in his industrial fields and this kind of tendency is increasing now, because electronic commerce has a lot of advantages this kind of tendency has been trying in the shipping industrial fields... so we an find lots of marine electronic commerce sites in the internet by a searching engine. these sites insist their site is real portal in the shipping field.. But actually their sites just e-commericalize a field or some fields of shipping, So they cann't insist their site is a real portal site But in this kind of tendency, real shipping portal site will be made someday but not so long.. so we want to show contents and strategy real shipping portal site should possess by comparison and generalization with existing shipping portal sites.

Identification of HGD mutations in an alkaptonuria patient: using the Internet to seek rare diseases

  • Alkaptonuria (AKU, OMIM: 203500) is a rare autosomal recessive disorder of tyrosine metabolism due to a defect of enzyme activity, homogentisate 1,2-dioxygenase (HGD). The patients with AKU initially presented with dark urine discoloration, and ochronosis and arthritis develop after third decades of life. With advances of Internet resources, web-based health seekers for rare disease are increasing. Here, we report the case of an 18-year-old boy with AKU who visited our center due to dark black urine based on self-diagnosis via web searching of this rare condition. Compound heterozygous mutations in HGD gene, IVS5+3A>C and IVS12+6T>C were identified and both of mutations were detected in his parents. Our case illustrates the utility of publicly available Internet resources for diagnosis of rare disease.

  • Through the surge of intelligence-based technology, in which information and communication are the main production means, and the ground-breaking innovation of technology, computing, communication, broadcasting have integrated. And this have led to automated, information-based and communication networked society, and the information age. To cope with this movement toward information-based society, offices of interior design are increasingly taking advantage of the Internet and searching for e-commerce business. Many interior design onces have opened up homepages and interior design-related companies are currently in preparation for new advertisement and marketing through the Internet. The purpose of this study is to examine the level of Internet usage by interior design-related websites and information for maintenance of such websites. This study analyzes these websites by their contents and solutions.

모바일 전자상거래 환경에 적합한 개인화된 추천시스템 (A Personalized Recommender System for Mobile Commerce Applications)

  • In spite of the rapid growth of mobile multimedia contents market, most of the customers experience inconvenience, lengthy search processes and frustration in searching for the specific multimedia contents they want. These difficulties are attributable to the current mobile Internet service method based on inefficient sequential search. To overcome these difficulties, this paper proposes a MOBIIe COntents Recommender System for Movie(MOBICORS-Movie), which is designed to reduce customers' search efforts in finding desired movies on the mobile Internet. MOBICORS-Movie consists of three agents: CF(Collaborative Filtering), CBIR(Content-Based Information Retrieval) and RF(Relevance Feedback). These agents collaborate each other to support a customer in finding a desired movie by generating personalized recommendations of movies. To verify the performance of MOBICORS-Movie, the simulation-based experiments were conducted. The results from this experiments show that MOBICORS-Movie significantly reduces the customer's search effort and can be a realistic solution for movie recommendation in the mobile Internet environment.

Experimental Comparisons of Leading Display and RSVP Display of Chinese Dynamic Text in Searching Tasks

  • Objective: This study investigates user performance and user perceptions of dynamic Chinese text displays (Leading display and RSVP display) when users search for target information. Background: Today, information searching with dynamic displays is widely used in TV programs, on Internet advertisements, for traffic information systems, and more. Method: A human factors experiment was conducted to compare both displays. Eighteen subjects participated in evaluating two simulated interfaces for the leading display and the RSVP display. Results: The results show that the leading display was better in terms of search time and certain subjective measurements (Easiness, frustration, anxiety). The latter results are consistent with the conclusions of other research efforts showing that dynamic displays are more effective and efficient when reading information. Conclusion: The leading display is more useful for Chinese users in terms of both information searching and information reading. Application: This study helps design dynamic displays written in Chinese texts.

  • 인터넷 사용이 대중화되면서 개인이 정보의 또는 검색할 주제에 따라 원하는 정보에 쉽게 접근할 수 있다. 이때 다양한 구조를 갖는 자료들의 속성을 잘 나타내는 메타데이터를 이용하면 검색의도에 보다 정확하게 부합하는 검색 결과를 얻을 수 있어 다양한 연구가 지속되고 있다. 본 연구는 소그룹의 사용자들이 공동으로 관심 있는 웹 콘텐츠의 즐겨 찾기를 공동으로 유지 관리하는 용도로 다차원 벡터형 태그를 제안한다. 제안하는 벡터형 태그는 정보 유용성을 나타내는 색인을 벡터방식으로 기술하고 이것을 활용해 정보의 분류 관리 재활용의 효율을 높이는 표현법이다. 벡터방식 태깅은 대상 키워드에 사용자들이 두 개 이상의 요소에 대한 우선순위를 부여하고 벡터 방식으로 표현한다. 이 때 벡터의 기본이 되는 벡터공간은 정보생성시간, 선호순위 등으로 구성한다. 벡터성분으로 산출할 수 있는 벡터크기가 정보의 유용성을 나타내며 순위측정의 기준이 된다. 제안방식에 의한 순위측정은 단순한 링크구조에 의해 측정된 순위와 비교하였을 때, 사용자의 검색의도에 부합하는 순위 정보를 제공하고 있다.

패션 브랜드의 인터넷 커뮤니티 메시지 유형 분석 - 브랜드 레니본을 중심으로 - (An Analysis of the Message on Internet Fashion Brand's Community - Focused on Brand Reneevon -)

  • Internet brand community's message makes significant contributions for fashion industry. Therefore, if we understand and implement the characteristics of the message on the Internet brand's community, it can be useful for future marketing strategy. This study was to classified the internet community and to examine messages with regard to direction, write motive and prior knowledge. The messages were taken from February, 20th, to August, 7th in 2008. Content analysis method was used for this study. The results were as follows: First, Fashion brand community divided into user initiative type and enterprise establishing type. Second, User initiative type had positive direction message more than enterprise establishing type had. Third, User initiative type had large volumes of information searching or sharing related message, but enterprise establishing type had large quantities of personal experience related message about write motive. Fourth, There was no difference numerical prior knowledge between user initiative type and enterprise establishing type, and then both had a high rate of prior knowledge.

RIA 기반 DNA서열 분석도구의 설계 및 구현 (The Design and Implementation of RIA-Based DNA Sequence Analysis Tools)

  • 생명정보학 분야의 발전에 따라 방대한 양의 DNA서열 데이터를 효율적으로 분석하기 위해 분석도구가 사용되고 있다. 하지만 기존의 분석도구들은 분석하고자 하는 데이터를 찾고, 적용해야 하는 불편함이 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 웹2.0기반 RIA(Rich Internet Application) 방식으로 구현한 분석도구를 제안한다. RIA방식을 적용한 분석도구는 기존 웹 방식의 문제점을 보완한 웹2.0기반에서 DNA서열 데이터를 찾고, 실시간으로 분석내용을 보여준다. 개발된 웹 에플리케이션은 윈도우 시스템 상에서 Flex2를 이용하였다.

인터넷 보안성의 가치 모형 탐색에 관한 연구 (A Study on Searching for Valuation Model of Internet Security)

  • 본 연구는 인터넷 서비스의 비시장 속성에 대한 경제적 가치측정의 모형에 관한 연구이다. 이를 위하여 먼저 인터넷 거래의 활성화를 측면에서 서비스의 속성들에 대해 제시하고 이러한 속성들과 고객만족, 지불가치간의 관련성을 살펴보고 이와 더불어 경제적 가치 측정에 대한 방안을 검토하였다. 이러한 측정 방안으로 제시한 것은 환경재의 가치측정에 대한 기법인 조건부가치 측정법으로서 이를 보다 확장하여 인터넷 서비스에 적용하였다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 연구목적에 부합될 수 있도록 지불의사 액수를 추정하는 계량경제적 모델을 정립하여 제시하였다. 그러나 실제 설문지 분석시 나타날 수 있는 여러 문제점이 나타날 수 있으므로 이를 보완하는 작업이 차후에 뒤따라야 할 것이다.

데이터마이닝과 사례기반추론 기법에 기반한 인터넷 구매지원 시스템 구축에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Development of Internet Purchase Support Systems Based on Data Mining and Case-Based Reasoning)

  • In this paper we introduce the Internet-based purchase support systems using data mining and case-based reasoning (CBR). Internet Business activity that involves the end user is undergoing a significant revolution. The ability to track users browsing behavior has brought the vendor and end customer's closer than ever before. It is now possible for a vendor to personalize his product message for individual customers at massive scale. Most of former researchers, in this research arena, used data mining techniques to pursue the customer's future behavior and to improve the frequency of repurchase. The area of data mining can be defined as efficiently discovering association rules from large collections of data. However, the basic association rule-based data mining technique was not flexible. If there were no inference rules to track the customer's future behavior, association rule-based data mining systems may not present more information. To resolve this problem, we combined association rule-based data mining with CBR mechanism. CBR is used in reasoning for customer's preference searching and training through the cases. Data mining and CBR-based hybrid purchase support mechanism can reflect both association rule-based logical inference and case-based information reuse. A Web-log data gathered in the real-world Internet shopping mall is given to illustrate the quality of the proposed systems.
