가중치 그래프의 고유벡터 중심성에 따른 실시간 차량추적 알고리즘 (Real-time Vehicle Tracking Algorithm According to Eigenvector Centrality of Weighted Graph)

  • Recently, many researches have been conducted to automatically recognize license plates of vehicles and use the analyzed information to manage stolen vehicles and track the vehicle. However, such a system must eventually be investigated by people through direct monitoring. Therefore, in this paper, the system of tracking a vehicle is implemented by sharing the information analyzed by the vehicle image among cameras registered in the IoT environment to minimize the human intervention. The distance between cameras is indicated by the node and the weight value of the weighted-graph, and the eigenvector centrality is used to select the camera to search. It demonstrates efficiency by comparing the time between analyzing data using weighted graph searching algorithm and analyzing all data stored in databse. Finally, the path of the vehicle is indicated on the map using parsed json data.

증강현실을 이용한 커뮤니티 기반 여행 정보 시스템 (Community-Based Travel Information System Using Augmented Reality)

  • When people go to travel, sometimes one writes many articles about the destination. Existing travel information services such as Blog, Internet Cafe, and SNS are difficult to provide realistic information since the provided information may not be a place directly on the road. This paper presents a travel information system including recommended courses, theme courses, and travel map. In addition, the proposed system can provide the functions of writing, reading, and deleting a message note that stores the travel information based on the augmented reality if a defined marker among the community members is recognized in a smartphone App. Therefore, this paper can present an implementation method for new community system using augmented reality and image processing as well as providing the conventional travel information services, and allows the user to take advantage of the realistic and accurate information.

선형구조 혼돈계를 이용한 이미지 암호와 방법 연구 (Research on the Image Encryption Method using a Linear-structure Chaos System)

  • With the rapid growth of digital communication and the internet, the importance of conducting research on data encryption methods is increasing. Some of the pertinent researches that have been conducted so far introduced data encryption methods using chaos systems, and numerous researches are currently being conducted on such methods. The signals produced by the chaos systems are called "determined noise," and if this is applied to data encryption, very effective results can be obtained. Using the Henon map, the relationship between the non-linearity of the chaos system and the strength of encryption was analyzed, and a linear-structure chaos system that uses non-linearity as a variable for encryption strength was constructed. Using the constructed chaos system, an image was encrypted and decoded, and the correlation coefficient of the linear-structure chaos system's performance was calculated and then analyzed.

  • 최근 이동 통신 기술의 발달과 모바일 단말의 급속한 확산으로 인하여 무선 인터넷 환경에서의 컨텐츠에 대한 관심이 부쩍 높아지고 있다. 이러한 흐름에 발 맞추어 컨텐츠 및 응용 프로그램의 개발을 용이하도록 하기 위한 무선 인터넷 플랫폼의 표준화 작업도 한창 진행되고 있으며, 우리나라에는 이에 해당 하는 WIPI (Wireless Internet Platform for Interoperability)라는 플랫폼 규격이 만들어졌다. 하지만 WIPI가 만들어 진지 얼마 되지 않았고, WIPI 플랫폼을 채택하고 이를 활성화 시키고 있는 단말기 제조 업체도 아직 그리 많지 않아 아직 이를 기반으로 하는 컨텐츠는 많이 부족한 상태이다. 본 논문에서는 WIPI를 기반으로 하는 하나의 컨텐츠로서, 다른 컨텐츠의 부분 기능으로써도 유용하게 제공될 수 있는 무선 단말에서의 공간 지리 정보 제공을 위한 시스템을 설계하고 구현한다. 이를 위해 본 논문에서는 1) 모바일 단말에서 지리 정보를 제공하기 위한 시스템에서 제공해 주어야 하는 기능을 분석하고 이를 위한 시스템을 설계하며, 2) 이를 WIPI 에뮬레이터(Emulator)를 사용하여 구현함으로써 설계된 내용의 유용성을 보인다.

Development of Cultural Contents using Auger Reality Based Markerless Tracking

  • This paper aims to improve the quality of cultural experience by providing a three - dimensional guide service that enables users to experience themselves without additional guides and cultural commentators using the latest mobile IT technology to enhance understanding of cultural heritage. In this paper, we propose a method of constructing cultural contents based on location information such as user / cultural heritage using markerless tracking based augmented reality and GPS. We use marker detection technology and markerless tracking technology to recognize smart augmented reality object accurately and accurate recognition according to the state of cultural heritage, and also use Android's Google map to locate the user. The purpose of this paper is to produce content for introducing cultural heritage using GPS and augmented reality based on Android. It can be used in combination with various objects beyond the limitation of existing augmented reality contents.

  • The use of the internet to facilitate commerce among companies promises vast benefits. Lots of e-marketplaces are building for several industries such as chemistry, airplane, and automobile industries. This study provides the new B2B EC business model for the shipping industry which concerns relatively massive fixed assets to be fully utilized. To be successful the proposed model gives participants useful information. To do this the expert system is constructed with the hybrid prediction system of neural network (NN) and memory based reasoning (MBR) with self-organizing map (SOM) and knowledge augmentation technique using qualitative reasoning (QR). The expert system supports participants useful information coping with dynamic market environment. with this shipping companies are induced to participate in the proposed e-marketplace and helped for exchanges easily. Also participants would utilize their assets fully through B2B exchanges.

Design Issues on a Metropolitan WDM Ring Network

  • A metro ring network using WDM technology requires many issues to be considered even though its transmission distance is shorter and its transmission capacity is lower than a long-haul WDM system. Unlike a long-haul WDM system, which is basically point-to-point configuration, a metro ring network usually equips with capabilty of wavelength reconfiguration. Therefore network performance considering crosstalk within OADM and the network behavior when the ring network is closed should be analyzed before implemented. We discussed some of results analyzed for the issues. Furthermore we proposed a novel method to design a dispersion map for a ring network, and demonstrated the methodology with an exemplary 8-node ring network of 399km circumference.

  • We aim to use public data different from the remote BEMS energy diagnostics technology and already established and then switch the conventional operation environment to a big-data-based integrated management environment to operate and build a building energy management environment of maximized efficiency. In Step 1, various network management environments of the system integrated with a big data platform and the BEMS management system are used to collect logs created in various types of data by means of the big data platform. In Step 2, the collected data are stored in the HDFS (Hadoop Distributed File System) to manage the data in real time about internal and external changes on the basis of integration analysis, for example, relations and interrelation for automatic efficient management.

OverIT: An Interactive Overlay for Touchscreen-based UI Customization by Demonstration

  • Smartphones have been widely used for various purposes and stay connected with people at all times. However, the use of such touchscreen devices can be physically restricted depending on users' context where only one hand is available to interact with the device. Even major smartphone manufacturers (e.g., Apple, Samsung) offer one handed mode, they still lack functions in the third-party applications, and the process is also complicated. We propose OverIT, a system that enables users to customize interfaces by adding new buttons on an interactive overlay which can be positioned anywhere on the touchscreen where each button serves the same functionality as an existing one. It is designed to support users to map a certain button event freely and easily to a newly created button by performing a demonstration of a button tap. We expect our system to improve the overall user experience of one-handed interaction with touchscreen devices.

Exploratory Study on Professional Baseball Fan Experience Management: Based on In-Depth Interview and Customer Journey Map

  • The purpose of this study is was to analyze customer experience attribute of professional baseball. To achieve objectives of this study, a method was used the in-depth interview and experts' consultation which understanding the attributes and structure of customer experience attribute of professional baseball. As a result, the professional baseball customer experience attributes are 'viewing plan & purchase', 'stadium movement', 'entrance stadium', 'move to seat', 'game viewing', 'amenities/services', 'events/cheering', 'move after match'. The review of the experience section and attributes derived through in-depth interviews with professional baseball fans was verified through an expert' consultation to secure content validity. Through this process, 8 experience section and 41 attributes were analyzed. The customer experience journey was analyzed for a more in-depth analysis of the viewing experience of professional baseball fans. The customer experience journey was presented based on the needs of fans and discomfort in each experience section activity.
