  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of home informatization on the family resource management. For this purpose we analyze the level of home informatization focused on the Internet use and it's effects on the family resource management through time management and financial management. Data were collected from 582 housewives who use the Internet at home. The results show that home informatization through the Internet use has changed family resource management totally. It contributes to improve planning and efficiency of resource management, but simultaneously it causes the imbalance of resource management. And the Internet use of housewives also affects time allocation and household expenditure. These changes depend on socio-demographics variables, home informatization related variables, and personal resource variables. The results show that the ability to manage time and finance have much more importance to improve the level of planning and efficiency and to decrease the level of imbalance in managerial subsystem. The results of this research suggest several implications for public policy.

  • The overuse of Internet has caused the problem of 'Internet addiction' in the life of college students. The purpose of this study was to develop a program of time management education for preventing Internet addiction among college students. The program consists of sessions. The first session is an introduction to the program which includes a pre-test about Internet addiction. The second session is designed to allow them to check their pattern of Internet use and time use by themselves. The third session is designed to set their tie goals and make long-range plans. The fourth session is designed to make short-range plans and look for alternative activities. The final session is the completion of the program. This study has some significance in developing a time management program for Internet addiction. and will be utilized in practical education.

  • The concept of revenue management have been used widely In the hotel and all transportation industries, and considered as a good system for managing a perishable asset. Recently, its' application area is being increasingly expanded to service industries such as the travel, the railway, the Internet and the sport industries. Internet business can be classified into several groups according to the characteristics of the individual business. One of groups is Internet Access Servoce business which connects each users to the internet. In this paper, since internet Access Services (IAS) business has a similar property to the service Industry, we will apply a revenue management concept to It. With some modification of existing model developed by Subramanian et.al. for airlines, we suggest the revenue management model being applied to IAS business. Computational experiment shows that the Increase of the revenue Is up to 7% by appluing our model. It means our model has a potential to manage IAS business effectively.

  • Next Generation internet banking service for important role of banking business competitive power separates service function of individual banking and should equip various service that coincides in each special qualities these are customer management, portfolio management, global corporation support etc. The past few years have been characterized by rapid changes in technology and the introduction of corporate and retail banking services through the Internet. the integration of e-banking platforms with legacy systems and the increasing dependence of banks on third party information service providers, all dramatically amplify the magnitude of risks to which banks are exposed. Risk management disciplines have not evolved at the same speed and many institutions, especially the smaller ones, have not been able to incorporate Internet banking risk controls within their existing risk management structures. This article provides an overview of the various risks which are heightened with Internet banking, and a holistic approach to managing these risks. In addition, the presentation will explain the different risk areas and the controls to be adopted to mitigate these risks.

  • The rapid development and widespread application of Internet has provided a platform for people to participate and discuss social hotspot events. In the meantime, social events may be spread throughout the Internet more quickly and widely than they did ever before, and possibly lead to serious social problems due to opinion violence or seditious rumour. This paper analyzed the Internet spread of social events, and presented a five-stage model to describe the evolution process of that spread. Furthermore, the improved IBF algorithm was applied to extract a pruned connected graph aiming to find the key nodes and the shortest spread path for the control of that spread. After analyzing the different factors that may cause the netizens' attention, this paper concluded BBS type, the visit quantity and the opinion leader are key factors which affect the Internet spread. Based on those researches, a life-cycle emergency management methodology and the related strategies were proposed for the achievement of healthy spreading environment on Internet.

  • In the current Internet system, there are many problems using anonymity of the network communication such as personal information leaks and crimes using the Internet system. This is why TCP/IP protocol used in Internet system does not have the user identification information on the communication data, and it is difficult to supervise the user performing the above acts immediately. As a study for solving the above problem, there is the study of Policy Based Network Management (PBNM). This is the scheme for managing a whole Local Area Network (LAN) through communication control for every user. In this PBNM, two types of schemes exist. As one scheme, we have studied theoretically about the Destination Addressing Control System (DACS) Scheme with affinity with existing internet. By applying this DACS Scheme to Internet system management, we will realize the policy-based Internet system management. In this paper, to realize it, concept of the Internet PBNM Scheme is proposed as the final step.

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to identify correlations between how much fever management information mothers obtained from the internet and their actual knowledge and practices of fever management. Methods: This was a descriptive survey of 172 mothers with children aged between 0 and 3 attending five daycare centers located in the city of Daegu. Descriptive statistics, the independent t-test or one-way analysis of variance, and Pearson correlation coefficients were used for data analysis. Results: In total, 75% of the mothers had searched the internet for information on fever management. The overwhelming majority (92.2%) used information from the internet to help manage fever in their children. Positive correlations were found between acquiring fever management information from the internet and fever management practices (r=.18, p=.038), and between mother's knowledge and practices of fever management (r=.27, p<.001). Conclusion: Based on the results of this study, to improve fever management practices, it is necessary to increase mothers' knowledge. Therefore, resources should be developed to augment mothers' knowledge of fever management through the internet.

  • The introduction of the Internet in homes had an effect on family systems. The purpose of this study is to investigate the changes in family systems due to Internet use in South Korea. This study classified the types of changes in the family systems and analyzes the characteristics of each type. Systems approach provides the theoretical framework for this study. First, the cluster analysis demonstrated the three types of the changes in the family subsystems due to housewives' Internet use: 'positive changes', 'negative changes', and 'no changes'. Second, there are different characteristics among the types of changes according to demographic, Internet-related, and intra-system dynamic factors. These results suggest several implications for public policy. To utilize the Internet as a useful tool to improve the quality of family life, housewives must have the ability to control the Internet use and to manage their resources. In order to enhance their abilities of using the Internet, it may be necessary for the government to provide public educational programs for housewives.

  • Nowadays, most researchers and manufacturers always pay attention on wireless sensor networks (WSNs) due to its potential applications in many regions such as military, industrial and civilian areas. WSNs are the basic components of Internet of Things (IoT) and the key to machine-to-machine communications and the future Internet. Also, the security is an essential element for deploying WSNs. Recently the concept of trust-based mechanism was proposed in WSNs such as traditional cryptographic and authentication mechanisms. However, there is lack a survey on trust management for WSNs, IoT even future Internet. In this paper, we discuss the concept and potential application areas of trust management for WSNs and IoT worlds. Furthermore, we survey different trust management issues (i.e., cluster, aggregation, reputation). Finally, future research directions with respect to trust management in WSNs and future IoT world are provided. We give not only simple WSNs for IoT environments but also a simulated bootstrap platform to provide the discussion of open challenges and solutions for deploying IoT in Future Internet.

  • Seamless end-to-end Internet Quality of Service (QoS) management is very only because Internet Management is not well understood and practiced in the real world but because the nature of the Internet is hard to predict and manage. Secure transmission, transport reliability, ability to differentiate service qualities, QoS-based intelligent routing, QoS monitoring, and customer-oriented service management are essential technical huddles to be coped with. Despite of these difficulties, the Internet becomes the platform of choice for the next generation applications and services. without a solid management solution, it is not easy to deploy high quality commercial services. In this paper, we propose an architecture of seamless end-to-end Internet QoS Management System and describe the design principles and system components of our developing prototype system.
