인천-영종 간 해상수송시스템 구축을 위한 경제적 타당성 분석 (A Feasibility Study on the Economic Aspect of Sea Transportation System between Inchon and Youngjong Island)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the economic aspect of sea transportation system between Inchon and Youngjong island in which Inchon international airport is being constructed. Total demand of sea transportation arising from in the airport and Yongyu Muwi leisure complex was estimated. To select optimum transportation route, environmental conditions in and around Inchon harbour and Youngjong island including the change of water depth by tide current, fog, rain, wind adn typhoon, ets., were investigated. The preliminary consideration on ships (size, velocity, transport capacity, price), routes, operational modes, terminals and berthing facilities were carried out. The transportation cost per passenger by sea transportation system was estimated to compare with that of land transportation system. It was found that sea transportation system proposed is competitive to the transportation system.

A Study on the Selection of Means of Transportation in International Logistics

  • Purpose - This study is a study to investigate the problem of the selection of means of transportation in international logistics by studying the basics of logistics activities, selection factors of transportation methods, and multimodal transportation. Research design, data, methodology - This study is composed of 5 chapters through literature study. Chapter 1 describes the functions and transportation system of international logistics, Chapter 2 selects transportation, Chapter 3 deals with maritime transportation and multimodal transportation, Chapter 4 describes multimodal transportation in terms of customer service, Chapter 5 addresses the implications and conclusions. Results - When looking at the problem of selecting a means of transportation, it is important that the parties involved in the transportation choose which means of transportation for their convenience and profit during the transportation process. Here, there will be factors to consider, including transportation cost, when selecting a means of transportation, and each means of transportation may have characteristics or advantages and disadvantages. Considering all these points, the adoption of multimodal transportation from a customer service point of view may be the answer. Conclusions - This study pays attention to the academic understanding related to the selection of means of transportation and to how usefully this thesis can be used in the selection of transportation related persons, especially shippers, from a practical level.

탄소배출권 거래를 고려한 자전거 활성화 정책 (Bike Transportation Activation Policy through Carbon Emission Trading)

  • OBJECTIVES : Currently, the market for carbon emissions trading has been increasing. In Korea, it is known that traffic mode rate in bike transportation is low. However, if bike transportation system is encouraged and the traffic mode rate is increased, it would be possible to reduce carbon emissions through the trading market. In this study, a practical policy to activate the bike transportation system in Korea will be proposed and verified. METHODS : Past studies regarding bike transportation system in international and domestic metropolitan cities were analyzed. Moreover, detailed reviews on recent carbon emissions trading market were performed. In particular, SWOT analysis on the bike transportation system in Korea and policy topology analysis were conducted. RESULTS : Based on the literature reviews and SWOT analysis, a new bike transportation policy was proposed. Several actual plans to adopt in Korea were proposed. In addition, a new bike transportation policy was analyzed using policy typology model, and a business model related to the cost of implementing the system and CERs were also proposed. CONCLUSIONS : It is concluded that the proposed bike transportation activation policy and several practical plans to connect CERs and a business model including bus, subway, T-money and bike riders to give some incentive were effective and reasonable. It is desired that this study will help Korea to get CERs through bike transportation activation in the future.

국제복합일관수송체제에 관한 고찰 (A Study on the Development of International Multimodal Transport System in Korea in Terms of Systems Approach)

  • The transport a administration in Korea is meeting demands of developing international multimodal transport system. In the past, as Korea transport policy has been emphasizing on the passenger traffic, the physical distribution sector is far behind international trend. Regarding the urging necessities of reducting costs in transport in order to upgrade the competitive edge of industries, Korea has to develop the most efficient transport system so called international multimodal transport system. The existing transport system is inefficient because each transport mode is separate, so this system is aiming at reducing cost and time and developing freight transport.   • The objective of this paper is to identify the problems of Korean inland transportation system and suggest the improvement plan for reducing the export logistics cost. The results are as follows: (1) Expansion of logistics hub facilities : Logistics hub facilities- integrated freight terminal and ICD, etc. can shorten the empty leg and reduce the logistics cost. (2) Design for CVO(Commercial Vehicle Operations) : CVO has various functions that improve the efficiency and effectiveness of freight transportation. (3) Rationalization of freight transportation industry : In particular, the deregulation of the motor freight industry and the privatization of the railway industry induce the competition among their firms and undercut the transportation rates in the long run. (4) Use of third-party logistics : The benefits of TPL are system reliability, improved customer service, and more efficient cost performance.

  • In an effort to gain competitiveness, recently many companies are trying to outsource their logistics activities to the logistics specialists, while concentrating on their core and strategic business area. Because of this trend, the third party logistics comes to the fore, catching people's attention, and expanding its market rapidly. Under these circumstances, the third party logistics companies are making every effort to improve their logistics services and to develop an information system in order to enhance their competitiveness. In particular, among these efforts one of the critical parts is the decision support system for effective transportation network planning. To this end, this study has developed an efficient decision support system for an optimal transportation network planning by comprehensively considering the transportation mode, routing, assignment, and schedule. As a result of this study, the new system enables the expansion of the third party logistics companies' services including the multimodal transportation, not to mention one mode of transportation, and also gets them ready to plan an international transportation network.

인천국제공항의 국제항공화물운송 프로세스 개선과제에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Process Improvement of International Air Cargo Transportation through the Incheon International Airport)

  • 본 연구는 인천국제공항이 국제항공화물운송에 있어서 동북아의 중심이 되기 위하여 국제물류주선업자의 국제항공화물운송 프로세스의 문제점과 애로요인, 개선사항 등을 조사 및 분석해보는 것이 필요하다는 전제하에 수행되게 되었다. 국제항공화물운송 프로세스의 여건은 수출 및 수입으로 구분하여 개별 프로세스별 소요시간과 만족도 그리고 프로세스 단계별 문제점을 분석하였다. 그 결과 국제항공화물운송 수출프로세스의 소요시간이 수입프로세스의 소요시간 보다 약 1시간 더 소요되는 것으로 나타나 국제항공화물운송의 프로세스를 개선하기 위해서는 수출보다는 수입부문의 프로세스 개선이 시급한 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 이상의 사항을 종합하여 항공화물 정보시스템 구축, 화물조업의 경쟁력 확보, 물류표준화 개선 등이 향후 개선되어야할 과제로 도출하였다.

Design of Intelligent Transportation Control System Based on Blockchain Technology

  • Transportation allocation requires information such as storage location and order information. In order to guarantee the safe transmission and real-time sharing of information in all links, an intelligent transportation control system based on blockchain technology is designed. Firstly, the technical architecture of intelligent transportation information traceability blockchain and the overall architecture of intelligent transportation control system were designed. Secondly, the transportation management demand module and storage demand management module were designed, and the control process of each module was given. Then, the type of intelligent transportation vehicle was defined, the objective function of intelligent transportation control was designed, and the objective function of intelligent transportation control was constructed. Finally, the intelligent transportation control was realized by genetic algorithm. It was found that when the transportation order volume was 50×103, and the CPU occupancy of the designed system was only 11.8%. The reliability attenuation of the code deletion scheme was lower, indicating better performance of the designed system.

  • 유럽 및 미국에서는 안전하며 환경친화적인 연안운송이 활성화되어 있으나 국내의 경우 연안운송에 의한 화물운송은 극히 저조한 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 목포-제주 사이의 해상화물 분석 결과에 기초하여 육상/해상 복합운송시스템을 제안한다. 먼저 목포 및 제주의 반출입 화물 현황을 조사하고 연안항로 및 여객 화물에 대하여 분석한다. 그리고 철도-선박, 트럭-선박의 복합운송과 RORO선 연안운송 등에 대하여 고찰하였다. 마지막으로 목포-제주 항로에 대하여 RORO선을 활용한 연안운송시스템을 제안하고 그 기술적 타당성을 확인하였다.
