This study examines trends of children's play in Korea, and academic, pragmatic, and policy issues related to it. For the purpose, the researchers reviewed play theories, national and international views of play specialists, and research articles on children's play in selected academic journals published in Korea for the last 30 years. Although Korea has been active academically as well as politically in recognizing the importance of children's play, children's play in Korea seems to have lost its position, the true value of it being often distorted or unidentified. Many specialists worn that the deprivation of play opportunities increasing in modern societies will result in many serious problems. Play research therefore need to strengthen its power by being more accountable and broadening its foci toward solving such predictable problems.

In this paper, we survey Six Sigma in Korea company real fields. Six Sigma itself are developed depend on each company culture and strategy. Our country has been more than 10 years since introduced Six Sigma in our country. Each company which work six Sigma are developed differ way depending on his company situation. Our country Six Sigma in our country is necessary to survey and analysis. Firstly, we survey how to use Six Sigma. Next, we survey to find success factor and failure factor by reports published by company and papers by published in journals.

In the past decade, East Asian Research has received attention from researchers as well as in South Korea society-at-large. The broad category of East Asian Research includes various disciplinary fields, such as "history, economics, and politics; however, few studies have used quantitative analysis to explore its development. In this paper, we used network analysis to identify the disciplines and active research areas, focusing on productivity, collaboration patterns, and citation networks of East Asian Research in South Korea. For this study, 6,646 journal publications related with East Asian Research and indexed by KCI (Korean Citation Index) during the 10-year period of 2004-2013 were considered. Results show that East Asian Research was led during this period by sole-researchers, rather than interdisciplinary studies. Moreover, a co-institution network represents active institutions with a high degree and collaborative centrality. In terms of journal-journal citation networks, journals belonging to both "history" and "Korean literature" disciplines were dominant.

Addressing challenging behavior in young children with special needs is an important issue. This study analyzed the results of literature on parent-implemented behavioral interventions designed to manage the challenging behavior of children with developmental disabilities under 8 years of age. Seventeen relevant studies published in peer-reviewed English journals during the last 15 years were selected for review. The literature review showed that adequately trained parents can serve as a competent intervention agent, thereby making significant contributions to mitigating children's behavior problems. The reviewed studies also demonstrated that parents could play a variety of important roles such as informants and trainers in behavioral interventions. However, the conclusions on parent-implemented behavioral intervention may be tentative rather than conclusive due to previous research limitations including the lack of treatment integrity and social validity data. In addition, this review discussed several implications for practitioners, indicated the limitations of the reviewed studies, and presented suggestions for future research.

Objectives: To investigate therapeutic mechanisms of Gyejibokryeong-hwan (GJBRH) against gynaecological diseases, articles on biological assay were gathered and analyzed. Methods: The articles were classified as being from domestic or international journals, and by their year of publication. The mechanisms of the biological effects against gynaecological diseases were noted. Results: Of the 14 articles analyzed, 13 were published in China and 1 was from Japan. GJBRH showed therapeutic effect against uterine and mammary gland diseases. Uterine-related diseases such as endometriosis, hysteromyoma, adenomyosis, cancer, and inflammation can be improved by the administration of GJBRH through anti-angiogenesis, anti-inflammation, the modulation of immune cell and immunoglobulin, and the regulation of hormone secretion. GJBRH also reduced mammary hyperplasia by regulating hormone and cytokine release. Conclusions: We speculate that the inhibitory effect against uterine and mammary gland diseases could be related to the therapeutic efficacy of GJBRH in improving gynaecological diseases.

Objectives : This study were invesitigated papers published in international journals to assess the effect of Korean Medicine treatments for menopausal depression. Through this review, we aimed to research more effective ways of menopausal depression treatment. Methods : The database of this review was created through searching PubMed from Jan, 2005 to Feb, 2015 : using terms of ‘menopausal depression’ and ‘post menopausal depression’ with ‘acupuncture’, ‘alternative medicine’, ‘CAM’ and ‘herbal medicine’. Results : 119 studies were analyzed but some of them were excluded due to lack of relevance or noncomformity of subjects. Finally, 16 studies were included in this review. Conclusions : In 16 studies, the acupuncture and herb decoction had significant interventions to improve menopausal depression. Therefore Acupuncture and herbal medicine may be effective treatment method of menopausal depression.

Purpose - The study's aim is to assess performance quality delivered through a performance management system. The case study first measures the effectiveness of the present performance management system of Bhushan Steel Ltd. (BSL), and then secondarily analyzes the employee training impact. Research design, data, and methodology - A case study research approach using a survey was followed. The final sample size was 50, with a simple random sampling technique used. Primary data came from the company itself and the secondary from books, the Internet, journals, etc. Results - BSL employee appraisals are used for many developmental aspects such as competence in the present job, improvements, performance development, and training needs. The results indicate that individual performance can improve if employees perceive the system as more transparent (i.e., not so confidential). Conclusions - Overall, the BSL employees think that the company appraisal system is useful; however, to make it better the company has to improve many aspects including appraisals based on supervisor observations. The company could use a self-appraisal and a 360-appraisal approach to improve such assessments.

Changes of construction industry entails needs of new construction technologies. In order to address the needs and new challenges, innovative interdisciplinary research programs are considered to be a good solution. To identify such research programs, technology-push and market needs investigations are conducted. The aim of this paper is to propose an integrative definition of key account management (KAM) at the organizational level through a content analysis of the existing definitions of KAM available in the business literatures. A representative pool of definitions of key account management was generated through literature review from twenty three journals that covers the divergence of name variety like global account management, strategic account management, national account management, international key account management, key client management, major account management, key customers management and key account management. Relating to the definition of key account management various attributes are identified through content analysis and according to the relevance, profile for each attributes are developed. On the basis of these attributes a diagrammatic and textual definition is proposed that covers the different standpoints and aspects of key account management approach and captures its essence as well. Eventually, several strategic implications are derived that create the field for further empirical investigation.
