  • Interlocking signalling chart must have no error and ensures a high availability for train operation. Interlocking signalling chart creation needs expert who has much experience to avoid errors, which can provoke some accidents. The CAD system for interlocking signalling chart can replace the expert because it can create the signalling chart without any errors if the creation logic being correct. We have developed the CAD system, present the basic algorithm in this paper.

  • The presens study was aimed to investigate the possibility of use of pozzolanic materials such as blast furnace slag, fly ash, paper sludge ash which are produced from industrial wastes, as construction materials. Experiments were undertaken to investigate the properties of concrete bricks and interlocking blocks made with these industrial by-products. As a result, it was found that the concrete bricks and interlocking blocks made with substitute materials have equivalent strength and quality to those of conventional concrete bricks and interlocking blocks made with only cement. Thus, it could be expected that recycling the industrial wastes can reduce manufacturing costs of the cement as well as prevent environmental pollution by the use of the by-products thrown out as wastes to make secondary products of the concrete.

  • DES software is a Computer Aided Design(CAD) tool. It is built based on objected-oriented principle. Utilizing strong processing capability and quirk calculation of computer, it can search out all possible routes, and give out interlocking table on the base of chosen routes by user. It can provide a large number of data for computers included in computer interlocking system. It is efficient and reliable.

  • PURPOSES: In this study the influence factors related to abrasion resistance of interlocking concrete block have been evaluated, and comparisons between various domestic and foreign abrasion test methods was also accomplished. METHODS: The modified rotational cutting method suggested in ASTM C 944 was applied. Surface materials with different types of fine aggregate such as crushed sand, sea sand, and mixture of crushed and sea sand were tested to compare the aggregate effect for abrasion resistance. RESULTS: The different surface mixtures with various W/C ratios, mortar and fly ash ratios have been investigated for functional and economical considerations. CONCLUSIONS: This study had obtained reliable results by changing diamond blade of rotating cutter. Therefore, in order to improve the abrasion resistance of interlocking concrete block for road, a new mix design was proposed.

  • In this paper, the properties of Interlocking block contained blast furnace slag cement are compared with that with O.P.C.(ordinary portland cement) and are analyzed under various mix proportions and the dosage of AE agent. According to the experimental results, compressive strength and flexural strength of interlocking block with blast furnace slag cement are lower than that with OPC. Also the strength and the ratio of absorption decrease with higher dosage of AE agent. although interlocking block with OPC has better performance than that of blast furnace slag in the side of quality, it is worth while to use the blast furnace slag as materials of interlocking block considered the side of recycling of resources and economy.

  • In order to design an effective foot surface which can provide adequate friction for a self-propelled medical microrobot moving inside the small intestine, frictional mechanisms between the small intestine inner wall and the foot surface of the robot must be understood. In this paper, mechanical interlocking effect was considered to design the surface of the foot that can generate the desired frictional force. The concept of the design was derived from the hookworm that lives inside the small intestine. Hookwarms are known to adhere to the small intestine wall by interlocking with villi on the surface of the small intestine. The interlocking mechanism was considered as the main frictional mechanism for the design of the microrobot foot surface in this work. 2 mm and 6 mm diameter solid and hollow cylindrical shaped foot specimens were designed and tested to assess the frictional force between the specimens and the porcine small intestine specimen.

비전도성 접착제로 국부적으로 둘러싸인 인터록킹 접속구조를 이용한 플립칩 공정 (A Flip Chip Process Using an Interlocking-Joint Structure Locally Surrounded by Non-conductive Adhesive)

  • A new flip chip structure consisting of interlocking joints locally surrounded by non-conductive adhesive was investigated in order to improve the contact resistance characteristics and prevent the parasitic capacitance increase. The average contact resistance of the interlocking joints was substantially reduced from $135m{\Omega}$ to $79m{\Omega}$ by increasing the flip chip bonding pressure from 85 MPa to 185 MPa. Improvement of the contact resistance characteristics at higher bonding pressure was attributed not only to the increased contact area between Cu chip bumps and Sn pads, but also to the severe plastic deformation of Sn pads caused during formation of the interlocking-joint structure. The parasitic capacitance increase due to the non-conductive adhesive locally surrounding the flip chip joints was estimated to be as small as 12.5%.

블록포장의 공용성 평가 및 품질기준개선 연구 (A Study on the Performance Evaluation and the Improvement of the Quality Stand ard of Block Pavements)

  • 본 연구에서는 단지 내 아파트 블록포장 50곳의 현장조사를 통하여 주요 파손형태를 조사하여 공용성을 평가하였다. 공용성 평가결과에 따르면, 조사대상지역에서 9년의 공용연수를 가진 블록포장의 유지관리지수는 7.9에서 8.9사이이며, 블록포장의 상태는 양호한 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 건설교통부 '보도설치 및 관리지침'에 10년으로 제시된 보도의 교체주기는 검토할 필요가 있다는 결론을 도출하였다. 또한 블록포장의 공용성을 객관적으로 평가하기 위해서 일본블록포장협회에서 제시한 유지관리 기준과 건설교통부 '보도설치 및 관리지침'의 유지관리기준을 조합하여 국내 현실에 적합한 유지관리기준을 제시하였다. 외국과 비고할 때 국내의 블록포장의 기준에는 내구성 관련기준과 줄눈채움재 및 모래안정층의 품질관리 기준이 명확히 제시되어 있지 않다. 따라서 블록포장의 기대수명과 유지관리비용을 줄이기 위하여, 본 연구에서는 국내외 기준을 비교하여 이러한 기준들을 국내기준에 포함시킬 것을 제안하였다.
