  • This study examines a business survey on the utilization of fishery by-products with the aim to assess the feasibility of incorporating these by-products into various industries. The research involved surveying 312 biocompanies across the country and conducting an empirical analysis based on the collected data. South Korea, a leading seafood-producing country with a developed seafood processing industry, provides conditions necessary to utilize seafood by-products as raw materials for the marine bioindustry. Among the surveyed biocompanies, 38.5% expressed their intention to engage in industrial activities involving the use of fishery by-products in the future, indicating a significant level of interest within the bioindustry in utilizing marine and fishery by-products. Companies showed interest in diverse materials, such as scales, fish bones, skin, and kelp holdfast beyond those currently defined under the Fisheries By-products Recycling Promotion Act (officially unnamed, 2021). This suggests a need for improvements in the regulatory framework to accommodate these diverse biomaterials. Furthermore, we propose enhancing the efficiency of fishery by-product utilization by focusing on regional specialization in marine bioindustry. This involves utilizing existing legal framework for upcycling fishery by-products and fostering a regionally specialized marine bioindustry.

  • Given the further promotion of economic globalization, China's financial market has also expanded. However, at present, this market faces substantial risks. The main financial and economic risks in China are in the areas of policy, credit, exchange rates, accounting, and interest rates. The current status of China's financial market is as follows: insufficient attention from upper management; insufficient innovation in the development of the financial economy; and lack of a sound financial and economic risk protection system. To further understand the current situation of China's financial market, we conducted a questionnaire survey on the financial market and reached the following conclusions. A comprehensive enterprise questionnaire from the government's perspective, the enterprise's perspective and the individual's perspective showed that the following problems exist in the financial and economic risk prevention aspects of big data and Internet of Things in China. The political system at the country's grassroots level is not comprehensive enough. The legal regulatory system is not comprehensive enough, leading to serious incidents of loan fraud. The top management of enterprises does not pay enough attention to financial risk prevention. Therefore, we constructed a financial and economic risk prevention model based on big data and Internet of Things that has effective preventive capabilities for both enterprises and individuals. The concept reflected in the model is to obtain data through Internet of Things, use big data for screening, and then pass these data to the big data analysis system at the grassroots level for analysis. The data initially screened as big data are analyzed in depth, and we obtain the original data that can be used to make decisions. Finally, we put forward the corresponding opinions, and their main contents represent the following points: the key is to build a sound national financial and economic risk prevention and assessment system, the guarantee is to strengthen the supervision of national financial risks, and the purpose is to promote the marketization of financial interest rates.

  • This study aims to develop yoga wear for active senior women aged 50-60 who engage in social activities based on time and economic availability. With the rapid growth of the elderly population, active seniors have become prominent consumers, showing a keen interest in cultural and sports activities, particularly yoga, which suits their physical structure and characteristics. Despite the increased interest in home training and healthcare post-pandemic, research on active senior's athleisure wear remains insufficient compared to younger demographics. This study conducted a literature review to understand the characteristics of active seniors and their needs for yoga wear, followed by a survey of 24 women aged 50 and above who practice yoga. The survey was conducted to assess yoga participation, current yoga wear usage, and design preferences. Results indicated that most respondents practiced yoga for less than a year, primarily for health and stress relief. While 65.2% were aware of specialized yoga brands, only 50% wore them, citing high prices and size mismatches as barriers. Functionality was the most critical factor affecting yoga wear purchase decisions, followed by design, material, and color/pattern preferences. Preferred top designs included V-neck, crew neck, and cowl neck with three-quarter sleeves, while leggings with a full-band waist were favored for bottoms. The study highlights the need for affordable, functional, and size-diverse yoga wear for active senior women, suggesting that modern, sophisticated designs are more appealing to this demographic. These findings provide essential guidelines for developing yoga wear that meets the specific needs of active senior women. As a result, this research has suggested three different yoga wear designs for active seinor women, using 3D Clo.

  • Isochrysis sp. is a sea microalga that has become a species of interest because of the extreme lipid content and rapid growth rate of this organism indicating its potential for efficient biofuel production. Using genome sequencing/genome-scale modeling for the prediction of Isochrysis sp. metabolic utilities there is high scope for the identification of essential pathways for the extraction of byproducts of interest at a higher rate. In our work, we design and present iIsochr964, a genome-scale metabolic model of Isochrysis sp. including 4315 reactions, 934 genes, and 1879 metabolites, which are distributed among fourteen compartments. For model validation, experimental culture, and isolation of Isochrysis sp. were performed and biomass values were used for validation of the genome-scale model. OptFlux was instrumental in uncovering several novel metabolites that influence the organism's metabolism by increasing the flux of interacting metabolites, such as Malonyl-CoA, EPA, Protein and others. iIsochr964 provides a compelling resource of metabolic understanding to revolutionize its industrial applications, thereby fostering sustainable development and allowing estimations and simulations of the organism metabolism under varying physiological, chemical, and genetic conditions. It is also useful in principle to provide a systemic view of Isochrysis sp. metabolism, efficiently guiding research and granting context to omics data.
