  • A practical multi-spring model is proposed for a nonlinear analysis of reinforced concrete members, especially columns, taking into account the interaction of axial load and bi-directional bending moment. The parameters of the model are determined on the basis of material properties and section geometry. The axial force-moment interaction curve of reinforced concrete sections predicted by the model was shown to agree well with those obtained by the flexural analysis utilizing realistic stress-strain relations of materials. The reliability of the model was also examined with respect to the test of reinforced concrete columns subjected to varying axial load and bi-directional lateral load reversals. The analytical results agreed well with the experiment.

  • Conventional reinforced concrete design codes assume ideal strain evolution in semi-deep beams with externally bonded fiber-reinforced polymer (EB-FRP) web strips. However, there is a strain interaction between internal stirrups and web strips, leading to a notable difference between code-based and experimental shear strengths. Current study provides an experiment-verified detailed numerical framework to assess the potential strain interaction under quasi-static monotonic load. Based on the observations, steel stirrups are effective only for low EB-FRP amounts and the over-strengthening of semi-deep beams prevents the stirrups from yielding, reducing its shear strength contribution. A notable difference is detected between the code-based and the study-based EB-FRP strain values, which is a function of the normalized FRP stress parameter. Semi-analytical relations are proposed to estimate the effective strain and stress of the components considering the potential strain interaction. For the sake of simplification, a linearized correction factor is proposed for the EB-FRP web strip strain, assuming its restraining effect as constant for all steel stirrup amounts.

  • An increase of the interaction speed can lead to the problem of over-relations. Due to psychological and temporal burdens caused by the excessive relationship, users feel fatigue and users are avoiding using SNS. SNS fatigue and SNS anxiety is regarded as SNS stress related to the side effects caused by the SNS use. This study is to approach negative view which is SNS stress and find out causes of stress from the over-relation of interaction. This study used total of 261 samples from Facebook users. As a results, all hypothesis are accepted using SEM(Structural Equation Model). Information sharing and communication have positive effect on social interaction overload and it causes technostress. The results of this study show that SNS characteristics occurs technostress. This study is significant in that it examines that the features of SNS have negative results.

  • The purpose of this study is to find out key factors(specialized knowledge, manner, interaction) of real estate brokerage service quality derived from previous researches and to identify degrees of relations among the key factors and request intention. To do this, first of all, this study makes surveys including variables of estate brokerage service quality, credibility, and request intention. Second, it collects the data from respondents who have visited real estate brokerage firms. Finally, the data are analyzed by applying an exploratory factor analysis and a confirmatory factor analysis which is based on a structural equation modeling. The result of these surveys describes that only the interaction affects the credibility positively and the credibility has positive effects on the request intention. At the same time, the interaction impacts on the request intention directly. Therefore, these analysis results suggest that managers of real estate brokerage firm focus on the interaction of the real estate brokerage service quality factors in order to improve the customers' request intention.

  • Objective: Teacher's professionalism means the ability to apply the knowledge, skills and attitudes related to child care effectively to carry out the child care process. Depending on the professionalism of the teacher, the teacher-infant interaction may be affected and the job satisfaction may be different. The purpose of this study was to investigate the level of perceived level of infant teachers' professionalism and to investigate the effect of professionalism of infant teachers on teacher-infant interaction and teacher's job satisfaction. In addition, through this study, it is aimed to help the infant teachers themselves to measure their own abilities and qualities and to develop individual growth by recognizing the importance of infant teacher's professionalism in the daycare center. Methods: For this study, a questionnaire survey was conducted on 329 infant teachers who were in charge of the ages between 0 and 2 years. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS / WIN 24.0 program. First, the mean and standard deviation of the subfactors of the infant teachers were determined in order to know the level of professionalism, teacher-infant interaction, In order to investigate the relationship between the variables, we conducted a Pearson correlation analysis. Finally, Multiple regression analysis was conducted to examine the effects of the teacher's professionalism on teacher-infant interaction and subfactors, and teacher job satisfaction and subfactors. Results: Teacher professionalism was found to have a positive effect on teacher-infant interaction, and caring interaction and teacher-parent-community relations were found to affect teacher-infant interaction. In addition, teacher professionalism had a positive effect on job satisfaction, and child development, curriculum, and teacher-parent-community relations were found to affect job satisfaction. Conclusion/Implications: Influence of teacher-infant interaction and teacher job satisfaction is different according to subfactors of teacher's professionalism. In particular, this suggests that it is necessary to consider ways to selectively raise the level of teacher professionalism according to the situation of infant teachers in each region.

  • A semi-stochastic process model of reliability was established for hyperbolic cooling towers subjected to combined loadings of wind force, self-weight, temperature loading. Effect of the soil-structure interaction on reliability was evaluated. By involving the gust factor, an equivalent static scheme was employed to convert the dynamic model to static model. The TR combination rule was used to consider relations between load responses. An analysis example was made on the 90M cooling tower of Maoming, Guangdong of China. Numerical results show that the design not including interaction turns to be conservative.

  • Since the Industrial Revolution in the 18th century, the production system adopted mechanization and mass production to popularize and standardize overall society. The architectural space removed basic desire of men on the decoration to neglect historical and regional continuity of the architecture and to make uniform designs, so that human sensibility and emotion were excluded. The architectural space had arbitrary and functionalism features in accordance with such a social change to display abstract space having no personality. The limitation expanded value of the space that was not lot possession and residence but for communication with men to express object factors. However, the object factors of the space were expressed in each factor consisting of either material factors or non-material factors. This study investigated interaction of the space by both expressive interaction and potential interaction to find out key words for making frames of the investigation and to examine cases comprehensively. The purpose of the study was to recover relations between the space and men in horizontal way and mutual communication and to present possibility integrating men and space.

  • Reengineering to object-oriented system is needed to maintain the system and satisfy requirements of structure change. Target systems which should be reengineered to object-oriented system are difficult to change because these systems have no design document or their design document is inconsistent of source code. Using design document to identifying objects for these systems is improper. There are several researches which identify objects through procedural source code analysis. In this paper, we propose automatic object identification method based on clustering of VTFG(Variable-Type-Function Graph) which represents relations among variables, types, and functions. VTFG includes relations among variables, types, and functions that may be basis of objects, and weights of these relations. By clustering related variables, types, and functions using their weights, our method overcomes limit of existing researches which identify too big objects or objects excluding many functions. The method proposed in this paper minimizes user's interaction through automatic object identification and make it easy to reenginner procedural system to object-oriented system.
