  • This paper compares domain combination based protein-protein interaction prediction method with domain based protein-protein interaction method. The prediction accuracy and reliability of the methods are compared using the same prediction technique and interaction data. According to the comparison, domain combination based prediction method has showed superior prediction accuracy to domain based prediction method for protein pairs with fully overlapped domains with protein pairs in learning sets. When we consider that domain combination based method has the effects of assigning a weight to each domain interaction, it implies that we can improve the prediction accuracies of currently available domain or domain combination based protein interaction prediction methods further by developing more advanced weight assignment techniques. Several significant facts revealed from the comparative studies are also described in this paper.

  • The limitation of a human's visual perception is considered to be 60 frames per second, This study investigated the effects of fast update rates (above 60 fps) in terms of interaction accuracy. Initial experiments showed that the interaction accuracy increased at rates faster than 60 fps. We assumed that either or both of the following two situations would cause such an effect: the user could recognize rendering rates faster than 60 fps, or the input processing rates were significant for the high accuracy. To evaluate the significance of these events, we conducted a second and third experiment. Although the display refresh rate was also fixed at 60 fps (by disabling the vertical sync), the rendered image actually differed for 60 fps and 150 fps. This research shows that faster update rate is necessary to achieve high interaction accuracy, and its limit is far over the usually considered 60 fps.

  • Most of the research on three-dimensional interaction field have showed different accuracy in terms of sensing, mode and method. Furthermore, implementation of interaction has been a lack of consistency in application field. Therefore, this study is to suggest research trends of three-dimensional interaction using meta-analysis. Searching relative keyword in database provided with 153 domestic papers and 188 international papers covering three-dimensional interaction. Analytical coding tables determined 18 domestic papers and 28 international papers for analysis. Frequency analysis was carried out on method of action, element, number, accuracy and then verified accuracy by effect size of the meta-analysis. As the results, the effect size of sensor-based was higher than vision-based, but the effect size was extracted to small as 0.02. The effect size of vision-based using hand motion was higher than sensor-based using hand motion. Therefore, implementation of three-dimensional sensor-based interaction and vision-based using hand motions more efficient. This study was significant to comprehensive analysis of three-dimensional motion recognition for interaction and suggest to application directions of three-dimensional interaction.

  • The product of stereolithography is consist of gathering the single strand. Therefore the accuracy of the shape is related to the linear shrinkage of the single strand. The resin temperature change affect on curing properties. This article will propose the interaction between material temperature and shape accuracy by resin temperature control. The main concern of this article is related to the improvement of end product's shape accuracy by the persuit for the filles curing criterion.

  • The Lattice Boltzmann Method has developed for solving the Boltzmann equation in Cartesian domains containing immersed boundaries of arbitrary geometrical complexity moving with prescribed kinematics. When a immersed boundaries are sweeping the fixed fluid node, refilling the node information in a vicinity of fluid nodes is one of the important issues in Lattice Boltzmann Method. In this study, we propose a simple refill algorithm for the particle distribution function based on a proper velocity, density and strain rate to enhance accuracy and stability of the method. The refill scheme based on a asymptotic analysis of LBGK model has improved accuracy than interpolation schemes. The proposed scheme in this study is validated by the simulations of an impulsively started rotating circular cylinder to investigate adaptability for fluid-structure interaction (FSI) problem. This refill scheme has improved stability and accuracy especially at high Reynolds number region.

  • As the electronic market grows, the vendors establish internet shopping mall with a plenty of electronic catalogs and prepare to respond rapid electronic market growth. Consequently, building attractable electronic catalogs is very important to give a customer satisfaction. Based on prior researches, this study suggest a research model to understand the factors of electronic catalogs and their impact on the customer's relationship quality. As a result, this study confirmed that accuracy, timeliness, interaction, presentation, and information structure of electronic catalog were important factors. Presentation is the most important factors of electronic catalog. Information structure and accuracy also heavily impact on user satisfaction. And their impact on the customer satisfaction and trust were proved to be substantial. These results will contribute to provide implicit guidelines to the developers of internet shopping malls.

  • In this paper, the finite element method is applied to investigate the effect of the lateral boundary in homogenous soil on the seismic response of a superstructure. Some influencing factors are presented and discussed, and several parameters are identified to be important for conducting soil-structure interaction experiments on shaking tables. Numerical results show that the cross-section width L, thickness H, wave propagation velocity and lateral boundaries of soil layer have certain influences on the computational accuracy. The dimensionless parameter L/H is the most significant one among the influencing factors. In other words, a greater depth of soil layer near the foundation should be considered in shaking table tests as the thickness of the soil layer increases, which can be regarded as a linear relationship approximately. It is also found that the wave propagation velocity in soil layer affects the numerical accuracy and it is suggested to consider a greater depth of the soil layer as the wave propagation velocity increases. A numerical study on a soil-structure experimental model with a rubber ring surrounding the soil on a shaking table is also conducted. It is found the rubber ring has great effect on the soil-structure interaction experiments on shaking table. The experimental precision can be improved by reasonably choosing the elastic parameter and width of the rubber ring.

  • Recently, many general-purpose packages for fluid-structure interaction problems have been announced. However, they have a lot of limitations to model structures in the fluid-structure interaction problems reasonably. Utilizing general-purpose packages such as MSC/NASTRAN and SYSNOISE, in this paper, a method to slove the radiation scattering problems with some accuracy in the fluid-structure interaction problems was developed. Using a simple model, the results from the presented method here are compared with those from SYSNOISE. The result shows quite a good agreement between the two methods. The problems, which could not be solved by SYSNOISE, were tried to solve with the presented method and results were presented. It was proved that this method could be safely used to solve fluid-structure interaction problems.

  • This study aims to apply the Generalizability Theory (G-theory) for estimation of reliability of evaluation scores between raters on Patient Dentist Interaction. Selecting a number of raters as multiple error sources, this study was analyzed the error sources caused by relative magnitude of error variances of interaction between the factors and proceeded with D-study based on the results of G-study for optimal determination of measurement condition. The estimated outcomes of variance component for accuracy among the Patient Dentist Interaction evaluation with G-theory showed that impact of error was the biggest influence factor in students. The second influence was the item effect, and the rater effect was relatively small. The Generalizability coefficients for case1 and case2 which were estimated through the D- study were calculated relatively low.

  • A high-order accurate Euler flow solver based on a discontinuous Galerkin finite-element method has been developed for the numerical simulations of blade-vortex interaction phenomena on unstructured meshes. A free vortex in freestream was investigated to assess the vortex-preserving property and the accuracy of the present flow solver. Blade-vortex interaction problems in subsonic and transonic freestreams were simulated by adopting a multi-level solution-adaptive dynamic mesh refinement/coarsening technique. The results were compared with those of other numerical and experimental methods. It was shown that the present discontinuous Galerkin flow solver can preserve the vortex structure for significantly longer vortex convection time and can accurately capture the complex unsteady blade-vortex interaction flows, including generation and propagation of acoustic waves.
