PUMA robot에서의 RCCL(robot control C library)의 구현 (Implemention of RCCL on PUMA)

  • RCCL(Robot Control C Library) is general purpose robot control language. It is programmed with C language and composed of C library. So it is well portable and supports sensor integration control and high level force control algorithms. We implemented RCCL on PUMA. We developed servo controller of DDC(Direct Digital Control). We used intel 8097BH one chip micro controller as CPU. One digital servo board controls three motors. Host computer is IBM PC 386DX-33 with RCCL.

  • Fieldbus is a low level serial digital network which will be used for factory automation. This paper describes lower layer implementation of a Fieldbus network interface. Physical layer provides hardware interface between IBM-PC and Fieldbus. Also, physical layer uses manchester coding, shielded twisted pair lines and RS-485 electrical standard. Data link layer includes Intel's iDCX96 real time executive for 8797 one chip microcontroller and Fieldbus data link protocol software.

  • IT technologies(Chips, Grid and e-Science) are rapidly changed from 1965. In 1965, Intel co-founder Gordon Mooresaq the future. His prediction popularly known as Moore's law, state that the computer chips double in power every 18 months Grid computing offers a model for solving massive computational problems by making use of the unused resources of large numbers of disparate, often desktop, computers treated as a virtual cluster embedded in a distributed telecommunications infrastructure. In this paper, I will discuss current status of supercomputing technology and haw we can use these on CFD. Functionally, one can classify Grids into several types:

  • For the position control of BL-DC motors, 2.phi.-3.phi. conversion unit, hysteresis band device, and PWM pulse generation are required. By utilizing a single-chip processor INTEL 8097BH, we cover all required functions. As a result, no analogue device is employed in this control scheme, so that it makes BL-DC motor controller simple and flexible. Furthermore, the single-chip processor is utilized for the nonlinear coordinate transformation which is necessary for the linearization of the motor system.

  • This paper describes the design of EFbus(ETRI Fieldbus), EFbus was designed from the interim results of international Fieldbus standardization in IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission) and proposals of many companies. The design was performed and described on the basis of three layered architecture. Application layer S/W runs on IBM PC and provides services which is similar ED MMS in MAP to user application Data linklayer runs on Intel's iDCX96 real time executive and uses centralized media accesscontrol method. Physical layer uses Manchester encoding & decoding, twisted pair fines and RS485 electrical standard.

  • This paper presents the development of a microcomputer-aided design program for a digital control system. The program has been written in GWBASIC language which is suitable for Intel 8086II CPU with 640KB memory. By utilizing this program, sampling time, the number of bits A/D and D/A converter, and the stability for the digital control system carl be determined, To demonstrate the utility of this program, a microcomputer controlled precision temperature control system has been employed as an example.

  • 본고에서는 최근 학계에서뿐만 아니라 Intel, nVidia 등의 반도체 설계업계에서도 차세대 system-on-chip (SoC) 구조로 제안하고, 실제품 설계까지 진행 중인 many-core SoC의 research challenges를 알아본다. 이러한 challenges는 architecture, software, application의 3가지 면에서 살펴보는데, 각 분야에서 주요 문제들을 고찰하고, 이 문제들을 해결하기 위해 현재 진행 중인 주요 연구 방향들을 살펴보고자 한다.

  • 본 논문은 실시간 시스템에서 중요한 요소인 타이머 운용에 관련된 방법중 Linux를 위한 접근 방법을 분석한다. 현재 표준 PC는 ISA 버스와 연결된 8254 프로그래머를 카운터를 통해 시스템의 시각부분을 처리하고 있다. 이 경우 ISA 버스의 특성상 10us (in PentiumPro 200MHz) 정도 소요시간을 가지게 된다. 보다 높은 microsec 수준의 실시간성을 요구하는 경우 이러한 근원적 시각처리 방안을 개선함은 필수적인 요소이다. 이를 위해 리눅스에 적용 가능한 타이머 운용방안 들로서 표준 8254 타이머, 펜티엄 프로세서의 TSC 이용방법 및 Intel SMP 보드의 APIC 타이머에 의한 방법들을 비교 분석하였다.

  • In this study, physical and data link layer protocols of FOUNDATION Fieldbus are implemented. INTEL386EX and 80196KC are used fer the CPU of PC interface board and sensor interface module, respectively The physical layer protocol of FOUNDATION Fieldbus is developed by using FB3050 chip, the fieldbus communication controller ASIC. The data Link layer protocol of FOUNDATION Fieldbus is implemented by software.

  • This paper presents the automatic monitoring system for the small and medium sized manufacturing system. The monitoring system was composed of main controller, network card and monitoring sub controller for the unit machine. PC was used for the main controller and monitoring controller, which has the same hardware with the network card, was developed using Intel 80196 microprocessor.
