집단에너지산업의 국민경제적 파급효과 분석 (The Economic Effects of Integrated-Energy Business : An Input-Output Analysis)

  • 정부는 에너지 절약시책의 일환으로 제1,2차 석유파동 후 1983년에 목동신시가지에 집단에너지 사업을 도입하였다. 이후 집단에너지산업의 공급규모는 꾸준히 증가추세를 보이고 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 2009년도 산업연관표에 근거한 투입산출분석을 이용하여 집단에너지산업의 국민경제적 파급효과를 분석하고자 한다. 수요유도형 모형을 이용하여 집단에너지산업에서의 생산 혹은 투자가 다른 산업에 미치는 영향에 대하여 논의한다. 공급유도형 모형을 적용하여 집단에너지산업에서의 공급지장이 다른 산업에 미치는 효과에 대해 살펴본다. 레온티에프 가격모형을 이용하여 집단에너지산업의 가격 변동이 다른 산업의 산출물 가격에 미치는 영향에 대해 검토한다. 특히 집단에너지산업을 중심에 놓고 이를 외생화하여 분석하는 접근방법을 취했다. 분석 결과를 요약하자면, 집단에너지산업은 낮은 생산유발효과, 높은 공급지장효과, 낮은 물가파급효과, 낮은 전방연쇄효과, 낮은 후방연쇄효과를 가진다. 이러한 정량적 정보는 집단에너지산업을 위한 정책결정에 있어서 유용하게 활용될 수 있다.

  • Necessity to install control towers has been studied to acquire overseas energy resources and to secure funds. At present, domestic energy companies do business independently. Institutions which support plant EPC companies as partners of package deal are separated. This causes the low records at package deal for overseas resources acquisition. Except UK and USA, nations which have major companies developed overseas energy resources early by promoting a large national company. Consequently, they currently have good records. This study suggests the necessities to install integrated control tower for overseas energy resources acquisition and securing funds and the following are the ways ; 1) promote a large national company by consolidation of separate energy companies, 2) install plant EPC promotion department which support private plant EPC companies, 3) make a integrated control tower in high level government office to connect between a large national company and plant EPC promotion department.

  • 국내 ESCO 사업은 에너지효율향상 제도 중에 하나로 1992년도에 도입되어 시행되고 있다. 현재 스마트그리드, 신재생에너지 등의 에너지시장 여건의 변화와 수요반응의 중요성이 부각되었다. 이에 사업 모델의 다양화 요구됨에 따라 해외 사례를 통한 국내 활용방안을 검토하였다. ESCO 산업이 활성화되었다는 유럽이나 미국에서의 사업영역은 에너지 공급 설비 및 공급 서비스부터 최종 사용자까지를 포함한 전 영역의 에너지 설비의 효율 개선 조치를 포함한다. 이런 ESCO 해외비즈니스 모델은 다양한 유형으로 구분이 가능함을 알 수 있으며, 그 유형을 프로젝트 수행방식, 공급자 수요관리, 파이낸싱의 방법, 기후변화 및 배출권 등, 신재생에너지, 에너지투자, IT연계관련, 신 ESCO사업, 기타의 기준으로 구분하였다. 본 연구에서는 각각의 비즈니스 사례 적용방안으로 국내에서도 IEC (Integrated Energy Contracting) 계약방식을 활용하는 것을 제안한다. 또한 에너지절약이라는 목표달성을 위해 개별사업유형의 나열함으로써 이를 허용하는 형태는 오히려 관련 시장 활성화를 가로막는 장애요인으로 작용하고 있는 바, 현행 에너지이용합리화사업을 위한 자금지원지침을 개정방안으로 투자사업 및 설치사업 모두를 포함하는 다양한 에너지절약사업을 대상사업으로 추가하되, 네거티브시스템(Negative system)의 도입을 제안한다.

A Case Study on Energy focused Smart City, London of the UK: Based on the Framework of 'Business Model Innovation'

  • We see an energy fucused smart city evolution of the UK along with the project of "Smart London Plan (SLP)." A theoretical logic of business model innovation has been discussed and a research framework of evolving energy focused smart city is formulated. The starting point is the silo system. In the second stage, the private investment in smart meters establishes a basement for next stages. As results, the UK's smart energy sector has evolved from smart meter installation through smart grid to new business models such as water-energy nexus and microgrid. Before smart meter installation of the government, the electricity system was centralized. However, after consumer engagement plan has been set to make them understand benefits that they can secure through smart meters, the customer behavior has been changed. The data analytics firm enables greater understanding of consumer behavior and it helps energy industry to be smart via controlling, securing and using that data to improve the energy system. In the third stage, distribution network operators (DNOs)' access to smart meter data has been allowed and the segmentation starts. In the fourth stage, with collaboration of Ofwat and Ofgem, it is possible to eliminate unnecessary duplication of works and reduce interest conflict between water and electricity. In the fifth stage, smart meter and grid has been integrated as an "adaptive" system and a transition from DNO to DSO is accomplished for the integrated operation. Microgrid is a prototype for an "adaptive" smart grid. Previous steps enable London to accomplish a platform leadership to support the increasing electrification of the heating and transport sector and smart home.

태양광발전시스템의 건물 적용에 대한 인식 조사 연구 (A Survey of the Recognition of Photovoltaic System for Building Application)

  • This study aims to investigate and analyze the overall recognition of the photovoltaic system for the application of BIPV(Building Integrated Photovoltaic) in Korea. For this purpose, a survey was carried on through questionnaires answered by 6 groups of experts such as construction engineers, registered architects, mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, university or college professors, and others who are ranked high in their companies or universities or colleges and who mostly seem to be eager to participate in the development of the PV system and to make a business of the system. The results of the survey are as follows: 1. About 95% of those experts who answered the questionnaire have known about renewable energy, and 93% of them are interested in solar energy as alternative energy 2. Host experts have a lot of information on the solar energy system, but have scanty information on the PV system. 3. The experts in the educational and research field have researched for the reasonable period of the participation in the development of the PV system and the period of making a business of the system. They judge that companies in the mechanical and electrical field will participate in the development of the PV system and will make a business of the system in 5 years. 4. The experts have thought that the PV system is designed not for economy but for the environment of the earth and that PV system technology in Korea is much lower than that in the advanced countries. 5. The experts hesitate to participate in the development of the PV system and to make a business of the system because they have little confidence in the economy of the PV system now and because they have thought that they will bear a great financial burden of construction cost 6. The experts judge that it is most desirable to apply the PV system to the rooftops of buildings. And they are greatly interested in the BIPV.

가스엔진 구동 건물에너지 통합 공급시스템 개발을 위한 기술동향 사례연구 (Integrated Building Energy Supply System : An Overview of Technical Trends for Gas Engine Driven Combined Heat and Power System)

  • Power consumption in Southeast Asia is steadily increasing due to industrialization and the effects of hot and humid climates. However, there are not enough energy generation facilities and infrastructures to meet the growing demand because it is difficult to secure the construction and operation costs of the transmission and distribution systems. This study aims to develop a gas engine driven heat pump system that supplies heating, cooling and electric power to buildings. This system, besides its normal function to produce heat, has the capacity to generate electricity on a household level. This paper investigates similar cases overseas before developing the system. Through the investigation of commercialized similar systems, the level of technology and market trend of development system were identified. Features and specifications of commercial and industrial systems will be used for system development.

광역에너지이용 네트워크 구축 기술개발 (Development of Technology for Network Construction using Wide Area Energy)

  • 에너지원의 다양화와 효율적인 이용을 위하여 광역지역의 통합에너지관리 시스템 구축이 요구되고 있다. 본 보문에서는 이러한 필요성에 부응하여 광역에너지 네트워크 구축에 필요한 핵심기술을 발굴하여 이를 종합적으로 현장에 적용하는 기술개발 을 수행하고 있다. 이를 위해 IT기술과 접목한 광역 네트워크 열공급 최적화 통합시스템 구축 기술, 발생되는 배열을 이용한 열펌프와 같은 미활용에너지 이용기술, 다양한 열원을 이용한 열수송 및 축열 기술 등 새로운 시스템을 개발하고 이를 현장적용을 통해 경제성을 평가하여 최종적으로 실용화할 수 있는 사업화 모델에 대하여 기술하였다.

  • Even though most of domestic corporations are doing various activities to reduce disasters, it is true that those are actually limited to some parts of business or the formalities in order to obtain specific certificates. For that reason, this writer study a efficient utilization of a guideline about accident provision and business continuity management for less disasters of companies, prevent interruption of critical mission. In short, it is required to operate an effective disaster recovery system and safety management system integrated by a mutual recognition on the relevant parts and different parts. And there is a need to establish a integrated recovery center in order to manage disaster recovery system realistic and effective.

  • Korea Water Resources Corporation (KOWACO), the only organization specialized in water resources management in Korea, is planning to establish a centralized control system for a related operation. in the central control room, of decision making as to water management and electric power generation. This plan is intended to convert the existing on-site operation system in each multi-purpose dam across the nation into a central operation system in the Corporations head office, for which Generation Integrated Operating System (GIOS) will be established control center in the Corporations head office and modernized nine (9) power stations. substations (RDAC). This article discusses realization of GTOS, especially real-time operation of hydropower plants and a specific architectural features for system communication.

현장 작업자 변화관리 프로그램 IFI 방법론의 적용 사례 연구 (Application Case Study of Change Management Program IFI(Integrated Field Innovation) Methodology of Field Workers)

  • The driving force of the manufacturing field is members' mind-set and activity. However, there is no appropriate program of change management for workers who work in the manufacturing field. Most of the small group activities were focused on the fixed tools and processes to make improvement only, not the change itself. Therefore, it was difficult to have self generating energy without actually motivating people of change. Study of IFI(Integrated Field Innovation) means change of management. This study will introduces IFI which is a new methodology of change and innovation of workers, and will describe how workers participated in the activities voluntarily. The principle of IFI is that letting employees to find the problems of the sites -anything that makes employees considering as the problem while they are working- and solve those problems through any tools own their own. Workers do not have to waste their time on bounding by unnecessary tools and processes. There are several cases that company "D" has been actually applied the IFI methodology in 2008. Through these cases, IFI proved that it was a optimized methodology for workers who work in the manufacturing field.
