A Research of the Logistics Legal System in China-Korea FTA

  • Purpose - This paper mainly studied the role of the logistics legal system in promoting international transport logistics, building marine economy international cooperation demonstration zone and deepening the economic and financial cooperation etc between China and Korea. Research design, data, and methodology - The study conducted a survey on China and Korea's 2012-2017 years data. After empirically analyzing the data, we believe that cultural industry in Korea and China will maintain its growth momentum. Results - This study explored the way to establish an integrated logistics system between China and Korea to match the e-commerce certification system, online payment system and logistic distribution, thereby gradually promoting economic development and logistics integration in Asia. Conclusions- China-Korea FTA can encourage private flow to take on enterprises. In terms of improving logistics efficiency, reducing logistics costs and establishing a unified logistics industry standardization system. This will accelerate logistics industry integration in Northeast Asia, build a unified logistics management center in Northeast Asia, and promote a new model of integrated logistics cooperation in Northeast Asia. Therefore, it has a practical and reference significance.

  • The main object of this work is the development of an intelligent multi-sensor integration and fusion model that uses fuzzy inference system. Sensor data from different types of sensors are integrated and fused together based on the confidence which is not typically used in traditional data fusion methods. The information is fed as input to a fuzzy inference system(FIS). The output of the FIS is weights that are assigned to the different sensor data reflecting the confidence En the sensor´s behavior and performance.   • To develop timely an optimal fan, a design system and a new manufacturing process used step by step have to be integrated. A small sized optimal fan for refrigerators, that was the goal on this project, was developed by the following principal processes. All processes are technologically linked in many directions: The existing fan was measured through reverse engineering. The measured data was used for the basic source of 3D design. The performance tests were carried and used as the data for the evaluation of the existing fan. Flow analysis by FANS-3D/sup [1]/ was performed at the given information (pressure drop and flow rate) to find out the configuration of optimal fan design. The flow patterns were investigated to measure the performance of fan through numerical experiment. The grid point data obtained by the above analysis turned into 3D high efficiency fan model by using CATIA. The product was manufactured by RP process (SLS, SLA) and tested the characteristic curves of the developed fan to compare with the existing fan. The modification of fan design were all examined to see any change in performance and checked to find any deficiency in assembling the fan into a duct. After the plastics flow analysis of the injection molding cycle to ensure acceptable quality fan, an optimal mold was processed by using tool-path for the newly designed fan.

  • In a mediator based information integration system that integrates information distributed on various data sources as a common data model, there are many researches on a common data mode providing a reservation of integrated data semantic, and on a resolution for a conflict caused by integrating various data modes. This paper proposes the DataBlender system that minimizes the semantic losses and provides an easy resolution for a conflict using the XML technology like as XML Schema, XQuery. Futhermore, it provides an integrated query facility usable in the mobile environment. So it becomes a foundation for a next Internet business environment.

  • The integrated global position system (GPS) and inertial navigation system (INS) has been considered as a cost-effective way of providing an accurate and reliable navigation system for civil and military system. Even the integration of a navigation sensor as a supporting device requires the development of non-traditional approaches and algorithms. The objective of this paper is to assess the feasibility of integrated with GPS and INS information, to provide the navigation capability for long term accuracy of the integrated system. Advanced algorithms are used to integrate the GPS and INS sensor data. That is fuzzy inference system based Weighted Extended Kalman Filter(FWEKF) algorithm INS signal corrections to provided an accurate navigation system of the integrated GPS and INS. Repeatedly, these include INS error, calculated platform corrections using GPS outputs, velocity corrections, position correction and error model estimation for prediction. Therefore, the paper introduces the newly developed technology which is aimed at achieving high accuracy results with integrated system. Finally, in this paper are given the results of simulation tests of the integrated system and the results show very good performance

  • An Integrated Management Platform, which plays a core role in managing u-City, intelligently control various infra-structure components by accommodating a large number of sensors and devices; and analyzing data received from these sensors and devices through wired/wireless sensor networks. In this paper, the services provided by the integrated management platform for u-City are classified into common application service, operational management service, and platform gateway service, and furthermore detailed functions for each service are defined. These functions, through their roles and information flows, will clarify the requirements of the integrated management platform, and through their addition and modification will be utilized as a reference model for the functional organization of the integrated management platform.

  • To utilize the hydraulic and hydrological models when simulating floods in agricultural watersheds, it is necessary to consider agricultural reservoirs, farmland, and farmland drainage system, which are characteristics of agricultural watersheds. However, most of them are developed individually by different researchers, also, each model has a different simulation scope, so it is hard to use them integrally. As a result, there is a need to link each hydraulic and hydrological model. Therefore, this study established an integrated flood simulation system for the comprehensive flood simulation of agricultural reservoir watersheds. The system can be applied easily to various watersheds because historical weather data and the SSP (Shared Socio-economic Pathways) climate change scenario database of ninety weather stations were built-in. Individual hydraulic and hydrological models were coded and coupled through Python. The system consists of multiplicative random cascade model, Clark unit hydrograph model, frequency analysis model, HEC-5 (Hydrologic Engineering Center-5), HEC-RAS (Hydrologic Engineering Center-River Analysis System), and farmland drainage simulation model. In the case of external models with limitations in conceptualization, such as HEC-5 and HEC-RAS, the python interpreter approaches the operating system and gives commands to run the models. All models except two are built based on the logical concept.

Development of Integrated Planning Simulation Model for Supporting Rural Village Planning (농촌마을계획 지원을 위한 통합계획모의모형의 개발)

  • This study aims to integrate the simulation models for rural settlement planning (SimRusep) in the district level (Myon) area of rural counties. The SimRusep, which has two modules of key villages selection and spatial planning for the selected villages, consists of four sub-models such as the spatial location-allocation model of center villages (SLAMCV), the potential centrality evaluation model (PCEM), the land use planning model (LUPM), and the 3-dimensional spatial planning modeller (3DSPLAM). Basically, map data of the integrated system which can be operated on the UNIX environment is inputted and treated using GIS (ARC/INFO) and then its village planning results is graphically presented on the AutoCAD. In order to verify the practical applicabilities of the SimRusep, an administrative area, Ucheon-myun, HoengSung-gun, KangWon-do, was selected as a case study area. It was well operated in the strategic application trials considering application of each sub-model in the study area. The operation results of the SimRusep showed the possibilities of realtime simulation from the selection of key village to its final stereoscopic presentation of planned results. Alternative village plan proposals can be swiftly drafted, which means very practical support for decision making process and public participation.

A Mathematical Model for Converting Conveyor Assembly Line to Cellular Manufacturing

  • This paper proposes a mathematical model for converting conveyor assembly line to cellular manufacturing in complex production environments. Complex production environments refer to the situations with multi-products, variant demand, different batch sizes and the worker abilities varying with work stations and products respectively. The model proposed in this paper aims to determine (1) how many cells should be formatted; (2) how many workers should be assigned in each cell; (3) and how many workers should be rested in shortened conveyor line when a conveyor assembly line should be converted, in order to optimize system performances which are defined as the total throughput time and total labor power. We refer the model to a new production system. Such model can be used as an evaluation tool in the cases of (i) when a company wants to change its production system (usually a belt conveyor line) to a new one (including cell manufacturing); (ii) when a company wants to evaluate the performance of its converted system. Simulation experiments based on the data collected from the previous documents are used to estimate the marginal impact that each factor change has had on the estimated performance improvement resulting from the conversion.

  • Data integration is techniques to combine heterogeneous data from different sources, and to allow users to transparently access all data from multiple sources via a single view. The difficulty with data integration is data heterogeneity (i.e. schema heterogeneity, semantic heterogeneity). Richer semantics of data is a major factor in resolving conflicts among heterogeneous data sources. As UML class model represents only schema-based semantics of data, alternative methods such as ontology is useful for representing additional semantics. This paper proposes a method for integrating two data sources with UML class models by using an analysis of their ontologies. In our framework, ontology will be applied to describe semantics of data in each source. Then the ontologies are analysed and compared to determine their similarities and differences. The result of the comparison is used to devise an integrated ontology that will enable querying on the integrated information.
