격자형 용접선 추적을 위한 용접 이동로봇의 모델링 및 제어 (Modeling and Control of Welding Mobile Robot for the Tracking of Lattice Type Welding Seam)

  • This paper presents the motion control of a mobile robot with arc sensor for lattice type welding. Its dynamic equation and motion control method for welding speed and seam tracking are described. The motion control is realized in the view of keeping constant welding speed and precise target line even though the robot is driven along a straight line or comer. The mobile robot is modeled based on Lagrange equation under nonholonomic constraints and the model is represented in state space form. The motion control of the mobile robot is separated into three driving motions of straight locomotion, turning locomotion and torch slider controls. For the torch slider control, the proportional integral derivative (PID) control method is used. For the straight locomotion, a concept of decoupling method between input and output is adopted and for the turning locomotion, the turning speed is controlled according to the angular velocity value at each point of the comer with range of $90^{\circ}$ constrained to the welding speed. The proposed control methods are proved through simulation results and the results have proved that the mobile robot has enough ability to apply the lattice type welding line.

  • 본 논문에서는 자기부상 시스템에서 널리 채용되고 있는 흡인식 자기부상 시스템의 제어특성을 개선하기 위한 연구를 수행하였다. 흡인식 자기부상 시스템은 그 특성 상 제어계의 불안정성을 내재하고 있기 때문에 일반적으로 산업현장에서 널리 사용되는 비례적분제어방식(PI)이 아닌 비례적분미분제어방식(PID)을 이용하여 제어 시스템을 구성한다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 PID 제어방식의 제어특성을 개선하기 위하여 외란관측자를 이용한 제어기를 제안 하였으며 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션과 실험을 통하여 그 특성을 확인하였다.

  • In this paper, a zero torque control scheme adopting current sharing function (CSF) used in integrated Switched Reluctance Motor (SRM) drive with DC battery charger is proposed. The proposed control scheme is able to achieve the keeping position (KP), zero torque (ZT) and power factor correction (PFC) at the same time with a simple novel current sharing function algorithm. The proposed CSF makes the proper reference for each phase windings of SRM to satisfy the total charging current of the battery with zero torque output to hold still position with power factor correction, and the copper loss minimization during of battery charging is also achieved during this process. Based on these, CSFs can be used without any recalculation of the optimal current at every sampling time. In this proposed integrated battery charger system, the cost effective, volume and weight reduction and power enlargement is realized by function multiplexing of the motor winding and asymmetric SR converter. By using the phase winding as large inductors for charging process, and taking the asymmetric SR converter as an interleaved converter with boost mode operation, the EV can be charged effectively and successfully with minimum integral system. In this integral system, there is a position sliding mode controller used to overcome any uncertainty such as mutual inductance or DC offset current sensor. Power factor correction and voltage adaption are obtained with three-phase buck type converter (or current source rectifier) that is cascaded with conventional SRM, one for wide input and output voltage range. The practicability is validated by the simulation and experimental results by using a laboratory 3-hp SRM setup based on TI TMS320F28335 platform.

  • This paper presents yaw vibration control performances of railway vehicle featuring controllable magnetorheological damper. A cylindrical type of MR damper is devised and its damping force is evaluated by considering fluid resistance and MR effect. Design parameters are determined to achieve desired damping force level. The MR damper model is then incorporated with the governing equations of motion of the railway vehicle which includes vehicle body, bogie and wheel-set. Subsequently, computer simulation of vibration control via proportional-integral-derivative (PID) controller is performed using Matlab. Various control performances are demonstrated under external excitation by creep force between wheel and rail.

A Study on Longitudinal Phugoid Mode Affected by Application of Nonlinear Control Laws

  • Relaxed Static Stability (RSS) concept has been applied to improve aerodynamic performance of modern version supersonic jet fighter aircraft. The T-50 advanced supersonic trainer employs the RSS concept in order to improve the aerodynamic performance. And the flight control system stabilizes the unstable aircraft and provides adequate handling qualities. The T-50 longitudinal control laws employ a proportional-plus-integral type controller based on a dynamic inversion method. The longitudinal dynamic modes consist of short period with high frequency and phugoid mode with low frequency. The design goal of longitudinal control law is optimization of short period damping ratio and frequency using Lower Order Equivalent System (LOES) complying the requirement of MIL-F-8785C. This paper addresses phugoid mode characteristics such as damping ratio and natural frequency that is affected by the nonlinear control laws such as angle of attack limiter, auto pitch attitude command system and autopilot of pitch attitude hold.

  • This paper presents the straightness compensation system which is a device for improving the machining accuracy of ultra-precision machines by synchronizing the position of diamond tool tip with machine error motion. Sine it is actuated by piezoelectric actuator with highly nonlinear hysteresis characteristics, the feedback control schemes such as Proportional Integral(PI), are required and realized by measuring the displacements of diamond tool tip. for the better tracking performance, the controller was implemented using TMS320C32 32bit floating-point DSP which is fast so that the real-time control is possible. In addition, stand alone type DSP board was chosen fur the easy assembly into the ultra-precision machines. The experimental results show good command tracking performance and the motion error of the machine is satisfactorily compensated during the machining process.

  • A scheme of IEVSC(Integral Error Variable Structure Controller) is proposed for the DC servo systems with the disturbances which does not satisfy the matching condition. The structure of IEVSC is composed of state observer, VSC, and servo compensator which is designed for the output variable enhances the robustness against all type of disturbances. The performances of proposed IEVSC are verified through simulations for the DC servo motor.

  • 본 논문은 연구용으로 개발된 호버링 타입 무인잠수정을 소개하고 기본적인 운동성능에 대한 시뮬레이션 및 실해역 실험결과를 서술하였다. 본 연구에서 개발된 무인잠수정은 수평 및 수직 추진기를 이용하여 4자유도 운동을 제어 할 수 있으며, 실험이 용이하고 운용하기 쉬운 구조의 테스트 베드용으로 설계하였다. 본 논문에서는 실해역 실험 이전에 무인잠수정의 6자유도 운동방정식을 전개하고 Matlab/Simulink를 이용하여 시뮬레이션 프로그램를 구성하였으며, 이를 통하여 설계된 무인잠수정의 기본적인 운동성능을 확인하였다. 또한 무인잠수정이 주어진 임무를 수행하기 위하여 PID 제어기 및 Fuzzy PID 제어기를 설계하였고 설계된 제어기의 성능을 시뮬레이션을 통하여 확인하였다. 실제 제작된 무인잠수정의 운동성능을 확인하기 위해 실해역에서 실험을 수행하였으며, 설계된 PID 제어기 및 Fuzzy PID 제어기를 이용하여 경유점 제어를 수행하였고 그 결과 조류 외란이 존재하는 실해역 상에서 적절한 제어성능을 확인 할 수 있었다.

채터링 저감특성을 갖는 정현파형 브러시리스 직류전동기 (BLDC Motor)의 적분 슬라이딩 모드 속도제어기 설계 (Design of a Integral Sliding Mode Speed Controller having Chattering Alleviation Characteristics for the Sinusoidal type Brushless DC Motor)

  • 본 논문에서는 정현파형 브러시리스 직류 전동기의 속도제어를 위해 두 개의 스위칭 라인에 의해 구성된 채터링 둔감영역을 갖는 가변구조 속도제어기를 설계한다. 슬라이딩 모드 과정중 과도상태에서 발생하는 고주파 채터링을 저주파로 한정시키기 위해 데드 존(Dead Zone) 함수의 도입을 제안하고, 정상상태에서의 채터링 감소 및 정상상태 오차를 제거하기 위해서는 제어입력에 지변이득을 적용한다. 제안된 데드 존 함수는 두 개의 스위칭 함수로 구성된 슬라이딩 영역을 표시하며 이 영역에 시스템의 상태가 존재 시 제어구조를 비례-적분 제어기로 변경하여 채터링이 발생하지 않으며 이 영역의 이탈 시만 가변구조제어를 적용하므로 채터링이 발생하게되어 과도상태의 고주파 채터링을 저주파로 감소시킬 수 있다. 설계된 속도 제어기에 대해 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션과 실험을 통하여 그 성능을 보인다.
