자연환기 시스템을 이용한 고층 공동주택의 환기성능 향상에 관한 연구 (A Study on Improving Ventilation Performance in High-rise Residential Building by Natural Ventilation System)

  • This study focuses on developing natural ventilation system which is able to satisfy the good indoor air quality and air speed. The natural ventilation system developed in this study is for double window façade and it has two operation modes for summer and winter. Operational sections of the devices have been analyzed by CFD simulation to calculate discharge coefficients of openings and estimated indoor air speed. For the analysis of the appropriate installation area ratio for each room and the optimum installation area, TRNFLOW simulation has been used. As the results, we could see that the natural ventilation system can provide the similar pollutant removal performance to 0.7 ACH of mechanical ventilation with appropriate installation area and installation area ratio.

Available Transfer Capability Enhancement with FACTS Devices in the Deregulated Electricity Market

  • In order to facilitate the electricity market operation and trade in the restructured environment, ample transmission capability should be provided to satisfy the demand of increasing power transactions. The conflict of this requirement and the restrictions on the transmission expansion in the restructured electricity market has motivated the development of methodologies to enhance the available transfer capability (ATC) of existing transmission grids. The insertion of flexible AC transmission System (FACTS) devices in electrical systems seems to be a promising strategy to enhance single area ATC and multi-area ATC. In this paper, the viability and technical merits of boosting single area ATC and multi-area ATC using Thyristor controlled series compensator (TCSC), static VAR compensator (SVC) and unified power flow controller (UPFC) in single device and multi-type three similar and different device combinations are analyzed. Particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm is employed to obtain the optimal settings of FACTS devices. The installation cost is also calculated. The study has been carried out on IEEE 30 bus and IEEE 118 bus systems for the selected bilateral, multilateral and area wise transactions.

플러그 내부에서 발생된 소선 단선에 의한 발열특성 (The Thermal Characteristics of Partially Disconnected Wire Happened in Plug)

  • There are over 30[%] of electric fires in Korea happened at wire or wiring devices. For its prevention many safety devices are set up electric equipments. These safety devices are not working in a rated current's condition of electric equipment. But when wire is partially disconnected, electric fire is able to be happened even though current is smaller than a rated current value. This paper studied thermal characteristics and fire ability when wire in plug is partially disconnected. The experiment is progressed a method that inner wire of plug is partially disconnected and after that current that is less than a rated current is flowed. As the result, heating occurred in near of partially disconnected wire makes that outer sheath is melted, plug cover is carbonized, and even sometimes wire is fused. And results of analysis of thermal image of partially disconnected wire happened in plug, it shows a difference to heating distribution and temperature appeared surface of plug depend on a progress of a partially disconnected wire.

  • 뇌서지 보호는 오늘날 대부분의 전기전자기기에 있어 중요한 문제 중 하나이다. 그리고 뇌서지 보호를 위한 대다수 SPD의 가장 주요 부품으로 MOV가 사용된다. 본 논문에서는 다양한 타입의 MOV 기반 SPD를 조사하고 낮은 MLV특성의 부작용에 대하여 실험하였다. 실험결과로서 상대적으로 낮은 MLV특성은 실제 현장에서 발생 가능한 TOV 고장 상태하에서 더 큰 고장률로 나타날 수 있으며, 피보호기기보다 우선하여 소손될 수 있음을 알 수 있다. 결국 안전면에서 SPD는 높은 TOV내력과 신속한 단로기의 동작이 요구된다.

저압 수용가 설비에서 누전차단기와 서지방호장치 사이의 보호협조 (Protection coordination between residual current device and surge protective devices in low-voltage consumer's installations)

  • In this paper, protection coordination between residual current devices and surge protective devices in low-voltage consumer's distribution systems are presented. In the case that a surge protrctive device(SPD) is located on the load side of an residual current device(RCD), when the surge is injected from the source side of the RCD, most of injected surge currents are split into the RCD and the protection coordination between the SPD and RCD is improper, three of 6 specimens experience unintended operation due to test impulse currents. Also when the surges is injected from the load side, a lot of the surge currents is split into the SPD, but a half of test specimens causes nuisance trip. Coordination between SPD and RCD is not valid. When installing SPD, it is important to select SPD after due consideration of the protection voltage level of metal oxide varistor embedded in RCD. It is expected that the results obtained from this work could be useful to improve the protection effects of SPD in low-voltage distribution systems.

  • 본 논문에서는 변전설비 운용의 자동화를 실현하기 위하여 변전설비에서 발생하는 다양한 사고를 판정할 수 있고, 변전설비 사고가 송전설비로 확산되는 경우에 대비하기 위하여 송전설비의 진단기능을 부가시킨 지역급전분소의 운전자 지원을 위한 지능적 통합 고장진단 시스템을 개발하였다. 본 논문에서 제안한 전문가 시스템은 변전설비와 송전설비에서 발생하는 다양한 사고를 진단할 수 있으며, 데이터 이중화 장치를 통하여 감시제어 시스템의 데이터 베이스를 공유하게 함으로서 최소한의 부담으로 기존의 감시제어 시스템에 설치할 수 있도록 하였다. 또한 지식에 포함된 불확실성을 처리하기 위하여 퍼지추론을 수행하였고, 모듈라 프로그래밍 기법과 메타-인퍼런스 기법을 사용하고 있으며, 저가의 개인용 컴퓨터로 구현하였다.

저압용 서지 보호 장치(SPD)의 보호 거리 해석 (Analysis of the Protective Distance of Low-Voltage Surge Protective Device(SPD) to Equipment)

  • Installing surge protection devices for a low-voltage system is important to ensure the survival of electric or electronic devices and systems. If surge protection devices (SPD) are installed without consideration of the concept of lightning protection zones, the equipment to be protected might be damaged despite the correct energy coordination of SPDs. This damage is induced by the reflection phenomena on the cable connecting an external SPD and the load protected. These reflection phenomena depend on the characteristics of the output of the external SPD, the input of the loads, and the cables between the load and the external SPD. Therefore, the SPD has an effective protection distance under the condition of the specific load and the specific voltage protection level of SPD. In this paper, PSCAD/EMTDC software is used to simulate the residual voltage characteristics of SPD Entering the low-voltage device. And by applying a certain voltage level, the effective protection distances of SPD were analyzed according to the each load and length of connecting cable, and the effectiveness of SPD were verified.

  • 본 논문에서는 전자식 안정기의 출력이 개방 또는 단락되었을 경우에 대한 보호 회로를 설계하였다. 전자식 안정기의 출력이 개방되었을 경우 일정한 주기의 고전압이 발생하여 스위치 소자에 전압 스트레스를 가하게 된다. 또한 출력이 단락되었을 경우 과전류가 흐르게 되어 안정기 발열 및 반도체 소자의 수명 감소 등 문제가 발생하게 된다. 이를 해결하고자 TTL 소자 및 수동 소자로 구성된 보호 회로를 제안하였으며 제안된 보호 회로는 저단가 구현 및 높은 신뢰성의 장점이 있다. 제안된 보호 회로를 실제 안정기에 연결하여 상황별 실험을 통하여 유용함을 증명하였다.

  • We present the method to obtain four speckle patterns with relative phase shift of ${\pi}/2$ passive devices such as wave plate and polarizer, and calculate the phase at each point of the speckle pattern in shearographic system using Wollaston pin And, we analyzed the phase error caused by wave plates used in the proposed method by Jones matrix.
