The mean and RMS velocity field of the respiratory gas flow in the human airway was studied experimentally by particle image velocimetry (PIV). Some researchers investigated the airflow for the mouth breathing case both experimentally and numerically. But it is very rare to investigate the airflow of nose breathing in a whole airway due to its geometric complexity. We established the procedure to create a transparent rectangular box containing a model of the human airway for PIV measurement by combination of the RP and the curing of clear silicone. We extend this to make a whole airway including nasal cavities, larynx, trachea, and 2 generations of bronchi. The CBC algorithm with window offset (64 $\times$ 64 to 32 $\times$ 32) is used for vector searching in PIV analysis. The phase averaged mean and RMS velocity distributions in Sagittal and coronal planes are obtained for 7 phases in a respiratory period. Some physiologic conjectures are obtained. The main stream went through the backside of larynx and trachea in inspiration and the frontal side in expiration. There exist vortical motions in inspiration, but no prominent one in expiration.

본 연구는 서울지역에 위치한 13개 특급호텔에서 근무하고 있는 274명의 직원들을 대상으로l 호텔기업 리더의 리더십과 조직문화 간의 상관관계를 분석하고, 리더십과 조직문화가 호텔직원의 직무태도에 미치는 영향을 파악하기 위하여 수행되었다. 연구결과 리더십 속성(카리스마/고무적 동기, 서비스/배려, 보상) 모두 조직문화(혁신성, 합리성, 집단성, 관리성)과 유의적인 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났으며 보상과 서비스/배려 속성이 다소 높은 상관관계를 보였다. 또한 리더십이 직무태도에 미치는 영향에 대한 분석결과 보상과 서비스/배려 속성이 직무태도에 유의적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 조직문화가 직무태도에 미치는 영향에 대한 분석에서는 집단성과 관리성이 직무태도에 유의적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

This paper identified the source of inspiration to cooperatively design a fashion collection from US undergraduate clothing design students and addressed how to implement team-based learning strategy to conceptual clothing design in class. Data was collected from the total of 51 students in a senior clothing design course at a large 4-year university in the US. The assigned project for this class was to develop a group collection under a same theme. Each student worked with his/her team member(s) to create an outfit and the entire class worked as a group to create a cohesive collection. The study showed that the sources of inspiration for the themes/concepts came from 11categories: historic era/old Hollywood glamour, shape/line/structure/architectural, fairy tales movies, nature/abstract, circus/mysterious, occasion/place, object, designer/artist, futuristic, culture, and various movies. To implement cooperative learning strategies in the clothing design class, a total of five class presentation/discussion sessions were held for theme/concept decision, fabric decision, design decision, test garment evaluation and design modification, and final products. Throughout the design process, team-based learning strategy promoted students' engagement and participation and inspired their critical thinking skills for making decisions within a team.

This report was conducted to quantify the pulse/respiration ratio and set up the normal range of wan-maeck(緩脈). In order to objectify the pulse diagnosis and use as basic clinical index of Cold-Hot diagnosis, we developed the hardware and software for detection and interpretation of pulse/respiration ratio, pulse/expiration ratio, pulse/respiration ratio, inspiration time, expiration time, respiration frequency, respiration time, duration of one pulse and pulse and pulse rate per minute, The results were as follows; pulse/respiration ratio is $4.30{\pm}1.03$ times, pulse/respiration ratio is $1.60{\pm}0.32$ times, pulse/respiration ratio is $2.37{\pm}0.75$ times, inspiration time is $1.35{\pm}0.20$ sec, expiration time is $1.89{\pm}0.39$ sec, respiration frequency is $17.16{\pm}3.49$ times/min, total respiration time is $3.63{\pm}0.71$ sec, duration of a pulse is $0.86{\pm}0.15$ sec, pulse rate is $71.51{\pm}12.30$ times/min.

This study was to define the factors of inspiration and expression methods of Viktor & Rolf known for distinctive works in order to find the ways of creative fashion designing. For the research method, the literature reviews were done by designer's books, collection reviews, and related articles. To find the ideas of design inspiration, interview data with Viktor & Rolf were used. The results of this study were as follows. Their conceptional attitude and the fashion shows like performance indicated that the designer's introspection became the origin of the concept and the ideas expanded the fields of expression. The expression of surrealistic fantasy was done by free imagination and daydreams, which was appeared as fantastical world beyond the everyday life. The expression of paradox and contrast overcame stereotype views with inversion, paradox, and ironical expression. The distortion of shape and the extreme exaggeration by overlap and repetition had a intention that magnity the miserable self-images on purpose, which had started from the debut and appeared ever after on collections and which sought the practicality, infinity exceeding the standard of ideal beauty. The harmony between classicism and avant-guard originated from the insights of tradition demonstrated the wits of designers showing the unique ideas with the base of classics.

Innovation is considered as key to ensure continuous advancement and firm progress in any field. Robotics, with no exception, has gained triumph and approval based on its strength to address divers range of applications as well as its capacity to adapt new ways and means to enhance its applicability. The core of novelty in robotics technology is the perpetual curiosity of human beings to imitate natural systems. This desire urges to continuously explore and find new feet. In the past, contemporary machines, in different shapes, sizes and capabilities, were developed that can perform variety of tasks. The major advantage of these developments was the ability to exhibit superior control, strength and repeatability than the corresponding systems they were replicating. However, these systems were rigid and composed of hard an underlying structure, which is a constraint in bringing into being the compliance that exists in natural organisms. Inspiration of achieving such compliance and to take the full advantage of the design scheme of biological systems compelled researchers and scientists to develop systems avoiding conventional rigid structures. This ambition, to produce biological duos, needs soft and more flexible materials and structures to realize innovative robotic systems. This new footpath to craft biological mockups facilitates further to exploit new materials, novel design methodologies and new control techniques. This paper presents an appraisal on such innovative comprehensions, conferring to their design specific importance. This demonstration is potentially useful to prompt the novelty of soft robotics.

In terms of expression, beauty illustration has become more diverse and innovative. Because of continued unique creative activities, more novelty has been pursued. In this study, beauty illustration in new artistic and decorative images was used to investigate the basic concepts of art activities, illustration and beauty illustration and make up for beauty illustration which adheres to traditional and classical expressions. In this study, the following results were obtained: First, in terms of expression of beauty illustration, the work with art expressions are still poor compared to other fields such as fashion illustration. Therefore, it is necessary to attempt beauty illustration of a new image which expresses artistic emotions. Second, by using an artistic technique called 'paper sculpture', a semi-solid shape has been completed, and a decorative beauty illustration was created. People get new inspiration through beautiful and innocent art pieces, which in turn motivate to create new expression. New art activities which take a human body as an art support beauty activities through picture and more sensitive inspiration. It was attempted to express other emotion and beauty by observing a single piece of work. A new possibility in beauty illustration which is differentiated from other art activities is proposed and its domain is developed.

This study examined concepts and expressional relations with Rene Maggritte works that had influence upon design expressions of Shiro Kuramata who brought name of things to the extreme to give new values and functions at the end. Rene Maggritte who was a representative surrealism painter in Belgium had a lot of influence and inspiration on the art world including pop art and conceptual art in the middle of the 20th century and so many modern artists. Rene Maggritte unreasonably placed object of ordinary things that people could know to combine them and to make people's thought be free from ideas. Shiro Kuramata worked at wide areas including the space, lighting, furniture and products to be well known as a designer who could create concepts. Shiro Kuramata designed indoor space and furniture not by making forms but by being free from customary names and concepts of things to examine substance and to discover unlimited possibility and to create new visual functions. And, such a thing made people be free from names and concepts that they cognized for a long time, and it brought freedom to things. This study investigated correlations of work concepts and expressions of Rene Maggritte and Shiro Kuramata to bring new inspiration and expansion to people's thought methods and design methodology regarding concepts of things.

PURPOSE: This study measured the external pressure on abdomen during maximal inspiration. The study determined the correlation between the diaphragmatic contraction pressure and the lung capacities to verify whether or not the measured pressure values can represent diaphragmatic contractility. METHODS: The study included 32 healthy subjects (16 males and 16 females). The researchers fabricated their own diaphragmatic pressure belt (DiP Belt) to measure DCP. DiP Belt device was fixed on the front of the abdomen and the diaphragmatic contractility was measured during maximal inspiration. The lung capacities were measured using a portable digital spirometer device (Pony Fx, COSMED, Italy). A digital spirometer is a device that is used to test the flow of air entering and exiting the lungs. RESULTS: DCP showed significant positive correlations with vital capacity (VC), inspiratory reserve volume (IRV) and inspiratory capacity (IC). Among values of lung capacities, IC showed especially strong positive correlations with the DCP (r =.714, p<.010). For the males, DCP showed significant positive correlations with IRV and IC, and DCP showed significant negative correlation with the expiratory reserve volume (ERV). For the females, DCP showed significant positive correlation with tidal volume (VT), but any significant correlation was not found with any of the other values of lung capacities. CONCLUSION: DCP showed high correlations with IRV and IC associated with inspiratory capacity. Therefore, The DiP Belt can be looked upon as a simple device that is very useful for measuring diaphragmatic contractility.

The article substantiates the need and shows the features of introducing SMART management into the system of public management of regional development in the context of strengthening the national security of Ukraine. Disclosed are such provisions as: goal-setting; state mission; state mission in Ukraine; goals of the Ukrainian state; strategic management priorities in Ukraine. Differences between the purpose of the organization and the purpose of the state are determined. The characteristic of the goal at the state level is given. The management standards in SMART management are characterized. The issues of the exhaustibility of existing SMART criteria are reviewed and it is proposed to supplement them with two such as: inspiration (inspiration) and ity (ethics). Two main principles are defined (evaluated (assessment), reviewed (review)), which must be observed when introducing SMART management into the system of public management of regional development in the context of strengthening the national security of Ukraine.
