터빈/발전기 생산업체의 품질검사 관리시스템 개발 (Development of a Quality Inspection Control System for a Torbine/Generator Production Industry)

  • In order to intensify an enterprise competition, quality inspection controls are very important issue. An organization or division of a company hopes which to acquire the quality inspection information be updated in real-time with respect to shop floor. In this paper, we develop a quality inspection control system for a Turbine/Generator production industry. The system compromises inspection scheduling module related to shop floor control (SFC) system, formal documentation control module, and formal inspection control module. In the quality inspection control system, ORACLE RDBMS is used for the database management system and ORACLE DEVELOPER 2000 is used for system development tool. The characteristic of this system is to support so it can enhance productivity and quality through inspection plans related to production scheduling.

부품검사정보를 이용한 조립품 품질관리방안 (A Quality Control Method of Assembly Parts Based on Parts Inspection information)

  • This paper proposes a quality control method of assembly parts based on parts inspection information. We use the parts inspection information for reduction of defective fraction in assembly and prediction of assembly quality. At first, we build the functional relationship between parts and assembled unit by regression analysis. Secondly, if we use the inspection informations of parts which are estimators of means and variances, we can predict the nonconforming probability of assembled unit and propose the best assembly method. In a case study, we showed the efficency of the proposed method in two part assembly.

  • Automatic Vision Inspection (AVI) systems automatically detect defect features and measure their sizes via camera vision. It has been populated because of the accuracy and consistency in terms of QC (Quality Control) of inspection processes. Also, it is important to predict the performance of an AVI to meet customer's specification in advance. AVI are usually suffered from false negative and positives. It can be overcome by providing extra information such as 3D depth information. Stereo vision processing has been popular for depth extraction of the 3D images from 2D images. However, stereo vision methods usually take long time to process. In this paper, retro optical system using reflectors is proposed and experimented to overcome the problem. The optical system extracts the depth without special SW processes. The vision sensor and optical components such as illumination and depth detecting module are integrated as a unit. The depth information can be extracted on real-time basis and utilized and can improve the performance of an AVI system.

사출성형 자동차부품의 외관 비전검사 방법 (Exterior Vision Inspection Method of Injection Molding Automotive Parts)

  • 본 논문에서는 사출성형 자동차부품의 외관 품질과 생산성을 높이기 위하여 사출성형 자동차부품의 외관 비전검사 방법을 제안한다. 일반적으로 기존 사출성형 자동차부품의 외관검사는 사람에 의한 매뉴얼 샘플링 검사로 진행된다. 먼저 전자부품(TFT-LCD 및 PCB 등) 비전검사에 활용되는 Edge-Tolerance 비전검사 알고리즘([1]-[4])을 사출성형 부품 외관검사에 적용하고, 그 문제점을 파악하였다. 그리고 그 문제점을 극복하는 새로운 외관 비전검사 방법을 제안한다. 제안된 외관비전검사는 양품 기준영상을 기준으로 검사하고자 하는 부품의 검사영상을 정렬한 후, 부분적인 적응적 이진화 후, 이진블록매칭 알고리즘을 이용하여 양품 이진영상과 검사이진영상을 블록단위로 비교함으로써 불량부분을 검출한다. Edge-Tolerance 비전검사 알고리즘과 제안된 외관비전검사 방법을 실제 개발된 장비를 이용하여 다양한 비교 실험을 통하여 그 효용성을 검증하였다.

  • After building a ship in a shipyard, there are so many repeated inspection of welding seam defects and painting status before delivering to the ship's owner. An inspection on the bottom part of a ship in commercial service should be done in every two years for the purpose of safety and for the prevention of ship speed deterioration. conventional welding seam inspection systems are rely on the visual inspection by human or the ultrasonic inspection for the selective part of a ship. This paper suggests a remote controlled inspection system for the examination of large ships or steel structures. The proposed system moves in contact with the ship under inspection and have a CCD camera to provide visual-guidance information to a remotely located human worker. Additionally this system utilizes a weld line tracking algorithm for an optimal position control. We verified the effectiveness of the inspection system by experimental data.

Bi-directional fault analysis of evaporator inspection system

  • In this paper, we have performed a safety analysis on an automotive evaporator inspection system. We performed the bi-directional analysis on the manufacturing line. Software Fault Tree Analysis (SFTA) as backward analysis and Software Failure Modes, Effects, & Criticality Analysis (SFMECA) as forward analysis are performed alternately to detect potential cause-to-effect relations. The analysis results indicate the possibility of searching and summarizing fault patterns for future reusability.

  • 본 연구를 통해 배출업소 지도 점검 수행, 이력내용 관리 및 활용 등의 전반적인 지도.점검 이행 과정과 배출정보를 관리하고 활용하는데 발생하는 문제점을 도출하고 개선방안을 제언하였다. 업무담당자가 이용하고 있는 배출업소 지도 점검 업무 시스템을 분석하고, 업무담당자 설문 및 면담조사 등을 통하여 업무 및 배출정보 관리 실태를 분석하였다. 시군구행정정보시스템을 구조적, 업무활용 관점에서 구분하여 분석한 결과, 인허가중심으로 설계되어 이용자들은 시스템을 통해 지도 점검 업무의 지원을 받지 못하는 실정이었다. 업무담당자 면담 및 설문조사 결과, 지도.점검 결과의 입력, 배출정보의 지속적 유지관리가 어려운 실정이었다. 이는, 현재 시스템이 제대로 활용되지 않아 발생하는 문제로 볼 수 있다. 이러한 문제점을 토대로 국내에서 운영되는 유사시스템을 분석하여 시사점을 도출하고 개선방안을 제언하였다. 행정업무의 시스템화를 위한 간편한 업무처리화면 구축, 입력사항의 간소화, 지도.점검 및 배출정보 관련 업무 시스템의 연계, 배출정보 통계기능의 구축, 지리정보 기능 구축, 모바일 지도.점검 지원기능 등을 제언하였다.

  • In this paper, an industrial electric endoscope is implemented. Most industrial endoscope that used in domestic are imported and the equipments are divided into several parts. So these endoscopes spend a lot of time, labor and inspection cost on inspection process. This research is accomplished to solve above mentioned weak points and to improve previous inspection systems into embedded systems.

  • Owing to the rapid growth in automated manufacturing systems, screening inspection becomes an attractive practice for removing nonconforming items, and it has been suggested that inspection will essentially become an inherent part of modem manufacturing processes. In this paper, we propose rectifying screening inspections which allow quality practitioners to use performance and surrogate variables interchangeably in real-time applications. Two screening inspections are considered; a statistically-based screening inspection to reduce the current proportion of nonconforming items to a specified AOQ(average outgoing quality) after screening, and an economically-based screening inspection where the tolerance limit is determined so that the expected total cost is minimized. It is assumed that the performance variable and the surrogate variable are jointly normally distributed. For two screening inspections, methods of finding the optimal solutions are presented and numerical examples are also given.
