이중 속도 제어 구조에 의한 서보 제어기의 비선형 마찰 토크 보상 (A Nonlinear Friction Torque Compensation of Servo System with Double Speed Controller)

  • 회전형 전동기와 볼스크류 및 타이밍 벨트를 이용한 서보 시스템은 NC, 가공기, 로봇 및 공장 자동화를 포함하여 산업 시스템 전반에 널리 사용되고 있다. 하지만, 동력의 전달에서 발생하는 비선형적인 마찰 및 댐핑현상은 제어 시스템 전체의 성능을 감소시키고, 특히 저속 정역 운전에서 그 영향이 크게 나타난다. 본 논문에서는 서보 제어시스템에서 발생하는 비선형적인 마찰 토크의 보상을 위해 가중치를 가지는 이중 제어 구조를 적용하였다. 본 논문에서 제안된 이중 제어 구조는 서보 제어 시스템에서 널리 사용되는 PI 속도 제어기 내부에 비선형적인 마찰 토크의 영향을 보상하는 내부 제어기를 가지는 구조이다. 특히, 내부의 제어기는 마찰 토크에 의한 시스템의 속도오차에 대하여 가중치를 가지는 구조로 설계되어 있고, 제어기의 이득은 외부 속도 제어기의 이득에 대하여 비례적으로 적용되므로, 안정성이 매우 높고 구조가 매우 간단하다. 본 논문에서 제안된 이중 제어 구조에 의한 비선형 마찰 토크 보상 방식은 시뮬레이션 및 실험을 통하여 그 성능을 검증한다.

Neuro-controller for a XY Positioning Table

  • This paper presents control designs using neural networks (NN) for a XY positioning table. The proposed neurocontroller is composed of an outer PD tracking loop for stabilization of the fast flexible-mode dynamics and an NN inner loop used to compensate for the system nonlinearities. A tuning algorithm is given for the NN weights, so that the NN compensation scheme becomes adaptive, guaranteeing small tracking errors and bounded weight estimates. Formal nonlinear stability proofs are given to show that the tracking error is small. The proposed neuro-controller is implemented and tested on an IBM PC-based XY positioning table, and is applicable to many precision XY tables. The algorithm, simulation, and experimental results are described. The experimental results are shown to be superior to those of conventional control.

Temperature-Compensative Displacement Sensor based on a Pair of Fiber Bragg Gratings Attached to a Metal Band

  • This paper proposes a new temperature-compensative displacement sensor with a pair of fiber Bragg gratings (FBG) attached to the inner and outer surfaces of an elastic metal band. The sensor can be also used as a temperature sensor with high sensitivity. The FBG pair shifted Bragg wavelengths in the same direction according to changes in the temperature. However, because the pressure of the metal band shifted a pair of Bragg wavelengths in the opposite direction, the displacement sensor could compensate for the effect of the temperature change in the proposed FBG pair. Results of the experiments showed that the two FBG displacement sensors responded linearly and symmetrically with respect to the displacement, and the displacement could be obtained using the difference between the two Bragg wavelengths.

  • In this paper, a systematical controller design method for a twostage grid-connected photovoltaic power conditioning system is proposed. For a pre-stage boost converter to achieve the stable operation in the entire region of solar array, the digital resistive current mode controller is used. This algorithm is very simple to implement with a digital controller and there is no power stage parameter dependency in the controller design. For a post-stage single-phase full-bridge inverter, a PI controller with a feedforward compensation for the inner current control is employed. Furthermore, in case that the operating point of the solar array under varying environmental conditions is higher than the required voltage for the inverter current control, the bypass mode for the boost converter is possible for the more efficient operation. The proposed control scheme is validated through the experiment of the prototype two-stage power conditioning system hardware with a 200W solar array.

  • For high density optical storage, there should be a high NA objective lens and a shorter wavelength laser diode. To secure the disc tilt margin related to the coma aberration, moreover, it's difficult to apply the tilt compensation mechanism into the portable PC. In this paper, we proposed the 3-axis asymmetry pickup actuator with high efficiency symmetric magnetic circuit, which consisted of the top cover type inner yoke for high magnetic flux density, the coil stack unit for the 3-axis independent operation and vertically polarized magnets. This newly suggested actuator features DVD-RAM recording, we achieved the high focus & track AC sensitivity and the greatly stabilized system.

  • Whereas the linear PID controller is widely used for control of industrial servo systems a high precision positioning system is not easy to control only with the PID controller due to uncertain nonlinear dynamics such as friction backlash etc. As a viable means to overcome the difficulty a learning control scheme is proposed in this paper that is simple and straightforward to implement. The proposed learning controller takes full advantage of current feedback capability of the inner-loop of the control system in that electrical motor dynamics as the well as mechanical part of X-Y positioning system is included in the learning control scheme, The experimental results are given to demonstrate its feasibility and effectiveness in terms of convergence precision of tracking and robustness in comparison with the conventional control method.

  • In this paper, we consider the adjustment of convergence on Color Display Tube (CDT). Convergence is a measure of how well the red, green and blue beams are physically aligned with each other to strike the same area on the screen. When misconvergence (convergence error) occurs, one way of compensating it is to attach several ferrite sheets on the inner part of Deflection Yoke (DY). We suggest an optimization model of misconvergence compensation process and report test results for 81 DY samples. As a result, more than 90% of the samples could be made to satisfy the required convergence criteria.

  • 온도보상용 적층 칩 캐패시터 제작에 있어 다음과 같은 실험 결과를 얻을 수 있었다. 적층 칩 캐패시터의 제작에 있어 용량은 재료자제의 유전율과 압력 조건에 따라 변화함을 볼 수 있으며 설계시 이를 고려해야 한다. 또한, 외부 전극의 경우 glss frit 선정이 중요한 변수임을 확인하였으며 $T_s$에 따라 glass frit을 선정하여야하며 열충격 및 소결성 향상을 위한 glass을 동시에 적용하는 것이 유리함을 확인하였다. Ni 내부전극 적용시의 고주파 특성을 검토한 결과 Pd 전극과는 유사한 경향을 보이나 Ag-Pd에 비해서는 우수한 손실특성을 보여주고 있다.

  • This report describes CRDCM(Counter Rotating DC Motor) that we have designed, manufactured and tested. CRDCM have two rotating rotors: one is a outer rotor as field set, another is a inner rotor as armature set. One of the most difficult problem is an elimination of the centrifugal force acting on brush when outer rotor is rotated. We solved a problem for centrifugal force of commutation brush by compensation set of counter mass through trial and error. It was verified the performance of motor at present.
