  • The printed electronics field using ink-jet printing technology is in the spotlight as a next-generation technology, especially ink-jet 3D printing, which can simultaneously discharge and precisely control various ink materials, has been actively researched in recent years. In this study, complex structure of an insulating layer and a conductive layer was fabricated with photo-curable silica ink and PVP-added Cu nano ink using ink-jet 3D printing technology. A precise photocured silica insulating layer was designed by optimizing the printing conditions and the rheological properties of the ink, and the resistance of the insulating layer was 2.43 × 1013 Ω·cm. On the photo-cured silica insulating layer, a Cu conductive layer was printed by controlling droplet distance. The sintering of the PVP-added nano Cu ink was performed using an IPL flash sintering process, and electrical and mechanical properties were confirmed according to the annealing temperature and applied voltage. Finally, it was confirmed that the resistance of the PVP-added Cu conductive layer was very low as 29 μΩ·cm under 100℃ annealing temperature and 700 V of IPL applied voltage, and the adhesion to the photo-cured silica insulating layer was very good.

  • Litho printing ink vehicles based on rosin modified phenolic are faster drying, have better durability, are harder and glosser and have greater resistance to water than ones based on ester gums. Ink-Water balance and rheological properties are important in litho printing process. These physical properties is concerned with molecular weight of Resin to use vehicle. So this paper was studied about the effects of changing molecular weight of Rosin modified phenolic on surface tension, viscosity, pseudoplasticity and printability of Litho Inks. The results were as follows. 1) The surface tension of model inks depended on the molecular \veight of the resin : Dispersion componnent of ink increase but non dispersion component decrease as molecular weight of Resin increase. 2) Water pick-up of litho ink is more fast balance, using low molecular weight of Resin. 3) Viscosity, Yield value and Newtonian value of model inks increase as molecular weight of Resin increase. 4) The litho ink prepared with the modified phenolic of which molecular weight is about 20000 showed the highest printing density and gloss.

  • Laboratory test method which determines the emulsification rate of dampening solution and ink has been described In lithography using the mutual repellence of oil and water, the emulsification is produced by dispersion of dampening water and ink because of the printing pressure on a practical press. Rheological properties of Ink-Water balance are the important factors in lithographic printing. The emulsification theory and laboratory test method deduced from Surland and Kim. It is shown that the emulfisication curves relate to the rates of change in the emulsifide ink\`s flow properties, to the shear stability of the emulsion formed To study on the factors determining the emulsion velocity, we have measured water pickup and calculated emulsification velocity constant \`k\` and activation energy.

  • Printing inks are mainly composed of pigment and vehicles. Among these components, the Vehicle affect the rheologic property of the ink the most but pigment content or characteristic also affect to the fluidity property not less than the vehicle. In the study, with the same vehicle on each sample, by making the sample to increase pigment content gradually. It can be examined the influence of the pigment to the fluidity of ink. In result we found that the viscosity value of the low shear rate rang has relatively higher value with increasing the pigment content in the ink. According to higher pigment content, yield stress and thixotropy index increases gradually. Structure recovery of the ink is that, the higher pigment content's ink, the less changing shear rate, and it takes less time to recover.

  • Ink-jet printing technology, which utilizes a digitalized design to print fine ink directly on a substrate, has been of interest in various industries due to its high efficiency and adaptability to various materials. Recently, active attempts have been made to apply ceramic materials having excellent heat resistance, light resistance, and chemical resistance to the ink-jet printing process. In this study, ceramic ink was synthesized by combining ceramic pigments with UV curable polymer. 3D printability at various contact angles between ceramic ink and substrate was analyzed in detail. Rheological properties of the synthesized ceramic ink were optimized to meet the requirements of the ink-jet printing process, and the contact angle of UV curable ceramic ink was controlled through surface treatment of the substrate. The potential for additive manufacturing of ceramic material using ink-jet printing was investigated by analyzing the effect of contact angle control on ceramic ink droplets and their 3D printability.

  • The Lithographic ink is composed of pigment, vehicle and additives. In especially, the vehicle is the most important element and consist of vegetable oils, mineral oils and resins. Varnishes have to resist certain forms of chemical and physical attack during ink manufacturing process and printing process So this varnish cooking is very important. In this paper, effects of cooking conditions of varnish using phenolic modified rosin ester on physical properties of the vehicle were studied. The varnish cooked according to temperature and time were compared in order of average molecular weight by the GPC method. and the rheological properties were found by rotational rheometer. And the emulsion behavior were compared by high speed emulsification tester which were set on 1200 rpm and $40^{\circ}C$ temperature (Novomatics Lithotronic). We displayed viscosity against tack(Inkometer Thwing-Albert M-106) by diagram.

  • According as gradually increasing the demand for Eco-friendly products it has been progressed fairly development at a field of printing and printing inks. The Inks are used by soy oil beginning of ink industry for preventing environment. Now it is possible to make Eco-friendly inks with vegetable ester. So it is not necessary to use petroleum-based solvents for preventing environment. But There is some problems if using vegetable ester to inks. Vegetable ester has high solubility, it causes misting and low viscosity of the Inks. So resin is required high performance. Thus, in this paper, I studied about the properties variation of the Varnish and inks According to using the phenolic modified rosin ester and Soy oil Methyl esters. The compared in order of average molecular weight by the GPC method, rheological properties were found by rotational rheometer, and emulsion behavior were compared by high speed emulsification tester.

  • The emulsification of lithographic printing inks are very important to determine printing quality. In this study, we measured the variation of water pickup according to the hardness of water in dampening solution. In order to observe the rheorogical properties of the emulsified inks, we measured the viscosity, the elastic return, the thixotropy area and yield stress value of the emulsified inks. In this paper, we found that the water pickup of the ink increase the hardness of water with the amount of dampening solution. Also, The viscosity, the yield stress value and the thixotropy area were increase by the water pickup of the ink.
