This study examined the effect of home informatization on housewives' home management ability. The questionnaires of 338 housewives who have at least one child were analyzed. LISREL 8.5 version program was used to examine the obtained data. As a result, degree of practical usage of information had positive effect on the home management ability directly. Internet use and information communicative machine usage also had affected the home management ability indirectly.

The purpose of this study is to analyze, centering on the preconditions presented, the actual conditions of fashion merchandising informatization, to find a considerable gap between its preconditions and present situations and to explore the strategic device of fashion merchandising informatization. The study is analyzed through questionary paper to the domestic fashion apparel firms. The collected questionary paper is analyzed with SPSS/PC/sup +/ program and the method of statistical analysis used for this study is t-test, one way ANOVA and frequency analysis. There was a considerable gap between its preconditions and present situations analyzing the actual condition of fashion merchandising infomatization centering on its preconditions. The strategic devices of fashion merchandising informations in order to treat, 1. Each apparel company should consider how they classify the informations in order to treat, accumulate, transfer and manage them effectively. 2. In order to make an environment of fashion merchandising informatizations, each company should arrange, expand and utilize informatization instruments. Also they should consider the case to utilize an inside or outside information center effectively.

정보가 하나의 상품이나 전략적 자원으로 가치를 갖게 되면서 기업에도 이러한 정보를 수집, 관리, 활용시키는 기업정보화가 필연적 과제가 되었다. 본 연구에서는 기업정보화의 이론적 근거를 구축하고 설문조사를 통하여 우리나라 기업들의 정보화 실태를 실증적으로 조사·분석하고 이를 바탕으로 기업정보화를 통한 경영 활성화의 방안을 제시하고 있다.

The introduction and application of IT(Information Technology) to a company has become to be viewed as a key factor for the business competitiveness and improved productivity. This study presents an approach to evaluation of a company's informatization level, which is especially appropriate for small and medium enterprises. The proposed evaluation method, based on the traditional questionnaire approaches, considers the various characteristics of the company, e.g., types of business, characteristics of customers, and locations of supply chains etc. A web-based system was developed to enable users to obtain the evaluation results from the evaluation method. The system also provides a function to produce valuable strategies for informatization by utilizing the case base which will be cumulated by repetitive evaluation requests. Finally, a real case was analyzed in order to verify the practicality of the evaluation system.

Over the past ten years, a new knowledge-based information society is coming up with a new paradigm shifted from the Industrial Society. According to this paradigm, Korea's policies of informatization on public administration affairs are shaped and promoted by several responsible bodies, including the Ministry of Government administration and Home affairs, the National Computerization Agency, as well as central and local Governments. But most informatization actions, especially standard information system projects, have done separately by the Ministries of central government. Besides, because of the absence of informatization strategy in local governments such as cities, counties, etc., they pursue separately various informatization projects on administration affairs by divisions. It is a critical problem not to manage systematic and unified promotion of information systems policies on administration affairs in local government. As an initial attempt to tackle the problem listed above, by introducing systems thinking this paper puts an effort to find some tentative answers to solve the problem possibly raised about the impact by Standard Information System Policy on which little research has been conducted so far. The findings presented in the paper would perhaps provide some ideas and directions for further study.

중소기업 정보화 수준 분석은 기업의 성과 분석과 경쟁력 강화를 위한 지표로써 의미가 크다. 그런데 최근에는 개인정보보호의 중요성이 부각되면서 보안 및 정보보호를 위한 인프라 및 마인드도 매우 중요한 지표로 인식되고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 중소기업의 정보화 수준 분석에 있어서 개인정보보호 관련 활동을 어떻게 평가할 수 있는지의 여부에 중점을 두고 연구를 수행하였다.

By investigating various information promotion plans by Taegu Metropolitan City Government, Kyungbuk Provincial Government or by the ministry of Agricultural, Forestry, and Fishery Affairs, this paper intends to analyze current trends of information approached from wider perspective, and to propose multi-layered alternatives which improve informatization promulgation in rural areas of Taegu, Kyungbuk areas. This research proposes following 6 alternatives, as informatization strategies to develop rural economics ; (1) construction of Agricultural Techno Park to advance and develop informatization in rural areas, (2) construction of communication super highway to strengthen information infrastructure, (3) construction of region-specific information system to provide agricultural information unique to its region or areas, (4) provision of agriculture-related information by establishing regional information centers separated by regions like North, South, Eastern regions etc., (5) establishment information, (6) establishment of information gallery of village to provide information needed. And this research also investigates specific contents progresses of various plans by various actors.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of home informatization on the family system. This study is based on the systems approach. A family system is composed of two major subsystems-personal and managerial. Managerial subsystem is concerned to instrumental function, such as time management and financial management. Personal subsystem is concerned to expressive function, such as family relations and interactions. So this study attempts to analyze the effects of Internet on the family system through time management, financial management, and family relations. The results from reviewing several related researches are that home informatization through Internet use has changed time management, financial management, and family relations. Finally this study suggests three plans of home informatization for contributing to improve the quality of family living.

Information technology becomes more important to small and medium-sized enterprises. Due to the limit of manpower and capital investment in small and medium sized enterprises, how to successfully implement information systems is very critical issue. Previous research shows that lack of systematic methodology for evaluating and directing informatization is a major obstacle for successful implementaion of information systems. This study developed the methodology for evaluating and directing informatization in small and medium-sized enterprises. Empirical study has been conducted to find out major measurement of evaluation as well as validate the model. Finally the systematic guideline, evaluating information level and directing informatization, has been developed in order to help enterprises successfully implement information systems.

In recent years, many companies have heavily invested in introducing production informatization systems in order to strengthen the competitiveness and to satisfy consumer's desires in quickly changing market environment. However, it is not effective due to the lack of understanding of systems and of non-existence of an optimal system for each company. Therefore, in this paper, manufacturing companies were classified according to its properties; size of the firm, type of business, production method and job production. After that, a model has been built to calculate the production informatization level, and it has been applied to 450 companies. Results of 450 surveys would be the base for figuring out strategies of introducing the production informatization to the companies which are wishing to build production informatization systems. Finally, Developed in this paper rule base system refer customized guideline to company that wants to adapt production information system.
