The objective of this study is to develop highway advisory radio service for road safety oriented system design of the point by regional groups or geographical distributions. To develop these highway advisory radio service, traffic information provided service areas, responds for incident and accident, and road condition in service sections based on traffic information of highway advisory radio service. This study contributes to service of traffic information for safety driving, which is transport congestion areas and recognition of traffic congestion status in advanced traffic information service. As result of this study, systematic design of the advanced highway and traffic safety guides to management systems by highway advisory radio service.

This dissertation searched for a social function and role of university, and problems of information-oriented universities through the analysis of the present conditions of university ERP systems in Korea. The purpose of this study is to find main success factors by investigating case studies on university ERP systems (university own development systems, Korean ERP systems, foreign ERP systems, etc.) and by referring to documentary records on the existing research. Especially this study observed university management. from an innovative aspect by studying success factors for information-oriented university connecting general functions of universities like education, research, and administration service, etc. This study result will suggest outline effective and practical implementation strategies for university administration information systems.

Aspect-Oriented Software Development is new software development method. It has many advantages related to software performance, maintenance and repair. Also it offers modularization method to a existing programming language for secondary function such as security and fault tolerance. But the present problem is that we have to use new aspect-oriented programming language. Further more when we apply Aspect to legacy system, we have to recompile the source code in order to build software system based on AOSD. In this paper, we propose and design Connector that can be composed with Aspect in legacy system dynamically. To elaborate this work, we use the information of operations about Core and Aspect, and the information of pointcut described with XML. We validate that the proposed Connector has features such as no need of new compiler, no recompilation and no modification of legacy system through case study.

본 논문에서는 SOA(Service Oriented Architecture) 기반으로 국가 R&D 정보의 종합 조회 기능을 제공하는 국가 R&D 정보시스템(RnDIS: R&D Information System)을 설계 및 구현하였다. 물리적으로 분산되고 각각 별도의 DB를 구성하여 활용하는 이질적인 4개의 응용시스템의 기능을 효과적으로 연계 및 활용하기 위해 유연하며 확장이 용이한 SOA를 채택하였다. 서비스의 식별, 정의, 분석 등의 개발을 위해 CBD 방법론을 확장한 새로운 서비스 개발방법론을 정의 및 활용하였으며, RnDIS를 위해 4개의 어플리케이션 서비스와 4개의 비즈니스 프로세스 서비스를 정의 및 설계하였다. 어플리케이션 서비스는 기존의 자바코드로부터 WSDL(Web Service Description Language)을 생성하는 래핑(wrapping) 방식을 사용하여 구현하였며, 비즈니스 프로세스 서비스는 BPEL(Business Process Execution Language) 엔진을 이용하여 어플리케이션 서비스를 조합하는 방식을 이용하여 구현하였다. RnDIS는 NTIS(National Science and Technology Information System) 공식 홈페이지(http://www.ntis.go.kr)의 종합검색 메뉴로 시범서비스 되고 있으며, 향후 서비스 대상 데이터의 확장과 기능 추가를 통해 정식 서비스를 오픈 할 예정이다.

IDEF is a widely used methodology for traditional structured software development. As object-oriented softwares are widely used, an object-oriented version of IDEF, IDEF4, is developed. UML is de facto standard for object-oriented software development methods. Whereas IDEF is widely used for CALS/EC, UML is used for general object-oriented software development. Most software developers are not familiar with IDEF4 but familiar with UML. Moreover, UML has many CASE tools. So we can develop software efficiently if we convert IDEF4 model to UML model. In this paper, we transform IDEF4 models to UML models. We explain the rules and methods to convert IDEF4 model to UML model and applied the transform methods and rules to a case study.

In recent studies, there has been much interest in knowledge sharing between the company and customer. Yet, there is little empirical work on the impact of the factors on CRM performances. The purpose of this study is empirically analyzing the effects of organizational factors of knowledge management, CRM system factors, and trust on CRM performances. The findings indicate that 3 factors (knowledge-oriented organizational culture/characteristic, technical systems, trust) are significantly related to CRM performances. However, the relationships between other factors (knowledge-oriented leadership, knowledge-oriented strategy, education & reward) and CRM performances are not significant.

Building a knowledge base effectively has been an important research area in the expert systems field. A variety of approaches have been studied including rules, semantic networks, and frames to represent the knowledge base for expert systems. As the size and complexity of the knowledge base get larger and more complicated, the integration of knowledge based with database technology cecomes more important to process the large amount of data. However, relational database management systems show many limitations in handing the complicated human knowledge due to its simple two dimensional table structure. In this paper, we propose Object-Oriented Knowledge Store (OOKS), a knowledge base model on the basis of a frame sturcture using an object-oriented database. In the proposed model, managing rules for inferencing and facts about objects in one uniform structure, knowledge and data can be tightly coupled and the performance of reasoning can be improved. For building a knowledge base, a knowledge script file representing rules and facts is used and the script file is transferred into a frame structure in database systems. Specifically, designing a frame structure in the database model as it is, it can facilitate management and utilization of knowledge in expert systems. To test the appropriateness of the proposed knowledge base model, a prototype system has been developed using a commercial ODBMS called ObjectStore and C++ programming language.

Recently, due to the popularity and explosive growth of the Internet, information exchange is increasing dramatically over the Internet. Also the XML is becoming a standard as well as a major tool of data exchange on the Internet. so that in retrieving the XML document. the problem for speeding up evaluation of path-oriented queries is a main issue. In this paper, we propose a new indexing technique to advance the searching performance of path-oriented queries in document databases. In the new indexing technique, an abbreviation-path file to perform path-oriented queries efficiently is generated which is able to use its hash-code value to index keys. Also this technique can be further enhanced by combining the Extendible Hashing technique with the abbreviation path file to expedite a speed up evaluation of retrieval.

Recently, Internet solution market is focused on competition in Electronic Commerce (EC) rather than necessity and effectiveness of EC. In this paper, we propose a policy-oriented matching agent system that makes EC market active.
