It is difficult for systematic and flexible control reflecting regional characteristics with only public policies that control the landscape. Also, in the event that there is no preceding quantitative index calculation, it is impossible for the public society to come to an agreement. Therefore, the development of a shielding analysis simulation methodology that makes data processing modeling that can be interlinked with the urban information system is a very meaningful study. Thus, this study presents urban space shielding simulation technologies and quantitative analysis methodologies using 3D graphic engines and deduces the optimal design by integrating the data of the geographic information system (GIS) in order to suggest the potential as an analysis model that can be used in future urban information systems.

Electrocardiography (ECG) is a widely accepted approach for monitoring of cardiac activity and clinical diagnosis of heart diseases. Since cardiologists have been well-trained to accept 12-lead ECG information, a huge number of ECG systems are using such number of electrodes and placement configuration to facilitate fast interpretation. Our goal is to design a wireless ECG system which renders conventional 12-lead ECG information.We propose the three-pad ECG system (W3ECG). W3ECG furthers the pad design idea of the single-pad approach. Signals obtained from these three pads, plus their placement information, make it possible to synthesize conventional 12-lead ECG signals.We provide one example of pad placement and evaluate its performance by examining ECG data of four patients available from online database. Feasibility test of our selected pad placement positions show comparable results with respect to the EASI lead system. Experimental results also exhibit high correlations between synthesized and directly observed 12-lead signals (9 out of 12 cross-correlation coefficients higher than 0.75).

Video data occurred in multimedia documents consist of a large scale of irregular data including audio-visual, spatial-temporal, and semantic information. In general, it is difficult to grasp the exact meaning of such a video information because video data apparently consist of unmeaningful symbols and numerics. In order to relieve these difficulties, it is necessary to develop an integrated manager for complex structures of video data and provide users of video digital libraries with easy, systematic access mechanisms to video informations. This paper proposes a generic integrated video information model(GIVIM) based on an extended Dublin Core metadata system to effectively store and retrieve video documents in digital libraries. The GIVIM is an integrated mo이 of a video metadata model(VMN) and a video architecture information model(VAIM). We also present design and implementation results of a video document management system(VDMS) based on the GIVIM.

Data fusion is method to combination data. The purpose of this study is to design and implementation for street fashion information analysis system using data fusion. It can offer variety and actually information because it can fuse image data and survey data for street fashion. Data fusion method exists exact matching method, judgemental matching method, probability matching method, statistical matching method, data linking method, etc. In this study, we use exact matching method. Our system can be visual information analysis of customer's viewpoint because it can analyze both each data and fused data for image data and survey data.

This study is the part of development of information management system for irrigation facilities. It describes the design and prototype presentation of WISIF(Web-based geographic Information System for Irrigation Facilities). WISIF manages the IFDB(Irrigation Facilities DataBase) and offers geographic information of irrigation facilities from IFSDB(Irrigation Facilities Spatial DataBase) through World Wide Web. GeoMedia Web Map software of Intergraph is used to offer geographic information to users. GeoMedia Web Map generates vector format, so called ActivCGM. The file generated in ActiveCGM format can be downloaded fast since its size is so small and generated as an interactive map file since its format supports hyperlink.

It is not easy for the user to find the information that is appropriate for the user among the suddenly increasing information in recent years. One of the ways to help individuals make decisions in such a lot of information is the recommendation system. Although there are many recommendation methods for such recommendation systems, a representative method is collaborative filtering. In this paper, we design and implement the movie recommendation system on user-based collaborative filtering of apache mahout based on mongoDB. In addition, Pearson correlation coefficient is used as a method of measuring the similarity between users. We evaluate Precision and Recall using the MovieLens 100k dataset for performance evaluation.

In shipbuilding, diverse manufacturing techniques for automation have been developed and used in practice. Among them, however, the hull forming automation is the one that has not been of major concern compared with others such as welding and cutting. The basis of the development of this process is to find out how to extract thermal forming information. There exist various methods to obtain such information and the 3D design shape that needs to be formed should be extracted first for getting the necessary thermal forming information. Except well-established shipyards which operate 3D design systems, most of the shipyards only rely on 2.5D design systems and do not have an easy way to obtain 3D surface design data. So in this study, various shipbuilding design systems used by shipyards are investigated and a 3D design surface data extraction method is proposed from those design systems. Then an example is presented to show the extraction of real 3D surface data using the proposed method and computation of thermal forming information using the data.

Globalization of Economic activities have increased Company's interests about International Logistics Management. Expansion of International trade depends on International Logistics which can overcome distance and time. In In-cheon, There are many small scale and minor Freight Forwarders take advantage of being linked with a port, an airport but their inefficient paper works cause raising of Logistics costs and losing of competitive power. In this study, we design a web based ocean forwarder information system for freight forwarder to solve these problems. So, this system will provide decreasing operation time, human resources, and accessing easily because of web based system, and finally decrease logistics cost and improve national competitive power.
