  • In this paper, we propose the method of stereo images composition using adaptive dense disparity estimation. For the correct composition of stereo image and 3D virtual object, we need correct marker position and depth information. The existing algorithms use position information of markers in stereo images for calculating depth of calibration object. But this depth information may be wrong in case of inaccurate marker tracking. Moreover in occlusion region, we can't know depth of 3D object, so we can't composite stereo images and 3D virtual object. In these reasons, the proposed algorithm uses adaptive dense disparity estimation for calculation of depth. The adaptive dense disparity estimation is the algorithm that use pixel-based disparity estimation and the search range is limited around calibration object.

  • The vergence controls of the parallel stereoscopic camera need only the disparity information of left and right images in horizontal direction. This paper proposed past and precise disparity value for stereoscopicimage pair in horizontal direction and the algorithm which can abstract disparity information through the HCF(Hybrid Cepstral Filter) for sign information. The proposed disparity information- extracting algorithm can obtain accurate disparity value of horizontal direction and signinformation by using both the one dimension cepstral filter which uses vertical projection data of left and right Image and the two dimension cepstral filter which uses down sampled image.

  • Pulfrich effect implies the possibility that motion information is processed by the system that processes depth information, and this possibility by supported by various neurophysiological studies. Although Pulfrich effect is processed by the system that processes binocular disparity, the representative depth information, there has not been a psychophysical research to determine the characteristics of the interaction between Pulfrich effect and binorular disparity using a stimulus containing the two information sources. Present research examined the characteristics of the interacation between Pulfrich effect and binocular disparity by nenuring the depth and rotation direction of a rotating cylinder comprised of random dots under two different conditions: 1) consistent rendition where the Pulfrich effect and binocular disparity depth the depth and rotation direction of the cylinder in a consistent manner 2) inconsistent rendition where they did not. , The perceived depth of the cylinder in the consistent condition was larger than that in disparity/Pulfrich effect only condition. Interestingly, the perceived rotation direction of the cylinder in the inconsistent condition was modulated by the relative strength of the disparity and the Pulfrich effect. These results imply that binocular disparity and Pulfrich effect are processed by a common neurophysiological methanism.

  • In this paper a hierarchical stereo matching algorithm based on feature extraction is proposed. The boundary (edge) as feature point in an image is first obtained by segmenting an image into red, green, blue and white regions. With the obtained boundary information, disparities are extracted by matching window on the image boundary, and the initial disparity map is generated when assigned the same disparity to neighbor pixels. The final disparity map is created with the initial disparity. The regions with the same initial disparity are classified into the regions with the same color and we search the disparity again in each region with the same color by changing block size and search range. The experiment results are evaluated on the Middlebury data set and it show that the proposed algorithm performed better than a phase based algorithm in the sense that only about 14% of the disparities for the entire image are inaccurate in the final disparity map. Furthermore, it was verified that the boundary of each region with the same disparity was clearly distinguished.

  • This paper describes an image disparity estimation method using region-based stereo matching. Region-based disparity estimation yields a disparity map as the unit of segmented region. However it estimates disparity imprecisely because it not only has matching errors but also applies an identical way to disparity estimation, which does not consider each type of matched regions. To solve this problem, we proposes a disparity estimation method which considers the type of matched regions. That is, the proposed method classifies whole matched regions into a similar-matched region, a dissimilar-matched region, a false-matched region and a miss-matched region. We then performs proper disparity estimation for each type of matched regions. This method minimizes the error in estimating disparity which is caused by inaccurate matching and also improves the accuracy of disparity of the well-matched regions. The experimental results show the improved accuracy of the proposed method.

  • Disparity space image (DSI) technique is a method of establishing correspondence between a pair of images. It has a merit of generating a dense disparity map for each pixel. DSI has a cost function to be minimized, and it needs empirical weighting factors for occlusion penalty and match reward. This paper provides theoretical basis for the weighting factors, which depend on image noise and contrast between an object and background.

  • The range-based method is easy to get the 3D data in detail, but the image-based is not. In this paper. employing the magnifying lens. the new approach to get the 3D data in detail is suggested. The magnifying lens amplifies the disparity in stereo vision system and the amplification of disparity is to increase the resolution of the depth. We mathematically and experimentally verifies the fact to amplify the disparity and suggests the method to improve the original 3D data with the detail 3D data.

  • This study aimed to analyze the keyword related to Health Disparity in Korea through the method of keyword network analysis and to establish a basic database for suggesting ideas for prospective studies in physical education. To achieve the goal, this study crawled co-occured keyword with 'health' and 'disparity' from news casted in 20 different channels. The duration of the news was 3 months, from September 11th, 2018 to December 11th. The results are as follows. First, among the news during recent 3 months, there were 1,383 keyword related to health disparity and this study selected 173 keyword which had co-occured over 3 times. Second, the inclusiveness of the network was 97.674% and the density was .038. Third, analyzing news related to health disparity, 'mortality' was the most co-occured keyword and 'disparity', 'reinforcement', 'the most', 'health', '6 times', 'Seoul', 'half', 'medicine', and 'local' were shown similarly. And common keyword in 4 centrality were 13 keyword. Lastly, by analyzing eigenvector centrality, significantly different result has shown. 'Disparity' was the most co-occured keyword. Based on this result, this study showed the necessity for reinforcing the public physical education in public education system in Korea. In order to achieve it, the field of physical education must look beyond present elite-focused physical education to public physical activity.

  • This paper is concerned with the applicability of the chi-square approximation to the six disparity statistics: the Pearson chi-square, the generalized likelihood ratio, the power divergence, the blended weight chi-square, the blended weight Hellinger distance, and the negative exponential disparity statistic. Three dimensional contingency tables of small and moderate sample sizes are generated to be fitted to all possible hierarchical log-linear models: the completely independent model, the conditionally independent model, the partial association models, and the model with one variable independent of the other two. For models with direct solutions of expected cell counts, point estimates and confidence intervals of the 90 and 95 percentage points of six statistics are explored. For model without direct solutions, the empirical significant levels and the empirical powers of six statistics to test the significance of the three factor interaction are computed and compared.
