Purpose: This study was conducted to determine the influence of ego-identity, parenting efficacy, and stress coping style on depression in mothers of toddlers. Methods: This was a cross-sectional, descriptive study. Data were collected from 164 mothers of toddlers, and analyzed using descriptive statistics, the t-test, analysis of variance, Pearson correlation coefficients, and multiple regression analysis using SPSS for Windows version 24.0. Results: The factors influencing depression in mothers of toddlers included ego-identity, economic status, and perceived health status. These variables explained 60.0% of depression in mothers of toddlers. Conclusion: Lower ego-identity was associated with more intense depression. Therefore, healthcare providers should develop intervention programs that can improve ego-identity to decrease depression among mothers of toddlers.
Purpose : This study identified the factors affecting the clinical competence of emergency unit nurses caring for foreign patients. Methods : This study utilized a descriptive correlation design. Participants were 112 emergency unit nurses working in different hospitals designated as the government's emergency medical centers and agencies in 2018. Factors that affect the clinical competence of subjects showed intercultural communication (β=0.38, p=.001). Conclusion : It is necessary to develop programs to improve intercultural communication, factors that influence clinical competence of emergency unit nurses, and apply them to practical fields.
To investigate the effect of spatial variability on hydraulic properties of unsaturated soils, a numerical model is set up which can simulate seepage process in an unsaturated heterogeneous soil. The unsaturated heterogeneous soil is composed of matrix sand embedded with a small proportion of clay for simulating the heterogeneity. Soil-water characteristic curve and unsaturated hydraulic conductivity curve of the unsaturated soil are expressed by Van Genuchten model. Hydraulic parameters of the matrix sand are considered as random fields. Different autocorrelation lengths (ACLs) of hydraulic parameter of the matrix sand and different proportions of clay are assumed to investigate the influence of spatial variability on the equivalent hydraulic properties of the heterogeneous soil. Four model sizes are used in the numerical experiments to investigate the influence of scale effects and to determine the sizes of representative volume element (RVE) in the numerical simulations. Through a number of Monte Carlo simulations of unsaturated seepage analysis, the means and the coefficients of variations (COVs) of the equivalent hydraulic parameters of the heterogeneous soil are calculated. Simulations show that the ACL and model size has little influence on the means of the equivalent hydraulic parameters, but they have a large influence on the COVs of the equivalent hydraulic parameters. The size of an RVE is mainly affected by the ACL and the proportion of heterogeneity. The influence of spatial variability on the hydraulic parameters of the heterogeneous unsaturated soil can be used as a guidance for geotechnical reliability analysis and design related to unsaturated soils.
The existing methods for determining influence in social networks do not accurately determine the influence of users because they do not delete or update existing relationships before they stop in the face of an increasing number of inactive users on social networks. In this paper, we propose a user influence detremination method using the temporal k-shell decomposition technique based on the creation date of users of social networks. To solve the problem of increasing influence of old users in social networks, we apply k-shell decomposition and age-specific order centrality as attenuation coefficients due to aging in neighbors. The age-decaying k-shell decomposition and age-specific order centrality are searched for influential users at the present time by applying the attenuation coefficient and age-dependent weights. Various performance evaluations are performed to show the superiority of the proposed method.

The purpose of this study was to identify the effect of job characteristics, career commitment, and the fitness relationship between the two variables on the nurses' job attitude(job involvement and job satisfaction). Data were collected using self-reporting questionnaire taken by 594 nurses working at eight university hospitals in Seoul and Chungbuk area. Data were analyzed using t-test, ANOVA, factor analysis, Cronbach's alpha coefficients, multiple regression through SAS program. The results of the study were as follows : 1. Three dimensions(task significance, skill variety, autonomy) of five core job characteristics have positive influence on job involvement and only one dimension(autonomy) of five core job characteristics has positive influence on job satisfaction of nurses. 2. The level of career commitment have positive influence on both job involvement and job satisfaction of nurses. 3. There were significant differences between ${\lceil}$high job characteristics-high career commitment${\rfloor}$ groups and ${\lceil}$high job characteristics-low career commitment${\rfloor}$ groups for job involvement and job satisfaction in nursing organization.
The Internet possesses not only features of mass media but also features of word of mouth communication. Communication channel is considered as one of most important variables in diffusion process. In this paper, we examined functionality of technology diffusion on the Internet through the use of meta tags. We have measured the coefficients of the Bass diffusion model which has been well-established in new product diffusion. This research shows that the Bass model is appropriate for describing technology diffusion on the Internet. The external influence as represented by the coefficient of innovation was found to be much smaller while the internal influence dominates in all meta tag diffusion. In meta tag diffusion, the internal influence as represented by the coefficient of imitation was increased at least twice bigger than that of consumer durables and information technology. Collecting necessary data in social sciences research can be a burden. This research shows that it can be alleviated through the use of software agents over the Internet. The research made use of software agents for collecting longitudinal data from publicly accessible archive such as Archive.org.

Machine tool design concepts have evolved towards high efficiency, accurate precision. high structural integrity, and multi-functional systems. Like many other structures, machine tools are also composed of many parts. When these parts are assembled, many kinds of joints are used. In the finite element analysis of these assembled structures, most joints are commonly considered as rigid joints. But, to get the more accurate solution, we need to model these joints in a appropriate manner. In this study, rational dynamic modeling and analysis method for complex structures are studied with special attention to slide way joints. For modeling of slide way joints, a general modeling technique is used by influence coefficients method which is applied to the conversion of detailed finite element model to the equivalent reduced joint model. The theoretical part of this method is illustrated and the method is applied to the structure with slide way joint. In this method. the non-linearity of the contact surfaces is considered within a proper range and the boundary effect of the joint model can be eliminated. The proposed method was applied to finite element modal analysis of a clamp jointed cantilever beam and slide way joints of the vertical type lathe. The method can also be used to other kinds of joint modeling. The results of these analysis were compared with those of Yoshimura models and rigid joint models. which demonstrated the practical applicability of the proposed method.
Porous concrete having continuous voids is gaining more interest as an ecological material. It has several useful functions such as water and air permeability, sound absorption, etc. Its strengths are considerably lower than those of conventional concrete due to the large and continuous voids in it. This study has been carried out to investigate the influence of mix factors and mixture proportion of aggregate on the strengths and water permeability of porous concrete. And it has been carried out to investigate the evaluation of void of porous concrete by the ultra-sonic pulse velocity. The results f this study are as follows: 1) The theoretical void ratio has greater influence than any other factor on the strengths and water permeability of porous concrete. And it is a little affected by the replacement proportion of silica-fume and mixture proportion of aggregate. 2) Because the coefficients of correlation between the void ratio and ultra-sonic pulse velocity were relatively high, it will be possible that the void ratio is predicted by the ultra-sonic pulse velocity.
Current article proposes a cheap prototype of an embedded wireless sensor to monitor concrete structures. The prototype can measure temperature and relative humidity concurrently at a controlled through smartphone time interval. It implements a maturity method to estimate in-place concrete strength, which is considered as an alternative for traditional shock impulse method and compression tests used in Kazakhstan. The prototype was tested and adequately performed in the laboratory and field conditions. Tests aimed to study the effect of internal and ambient temperature and relative humidity on the concrete strength gain. According to test results revealed that all parameters influence the strength gain to some extent. For a better understanding of how strongly parameters influence the strength as well as each other, proposed a multicolored cross-correlation matrix technique. The technique is based on the determination coefficients. It is able to show the value of significance of correlation, its positivity or negativity, as well as the degree of inter-influence of parameters. The prototype testing also recognized the inconvenience of Bluetooth control due to weakness of signal and inability to access several prototypes simultaneously. Therefore, further improvement of the prototype presume to include the replacement of Bluetooth by Narrow Band IoT standard.
Objectives: The purpose of this study was to investigate the influence of fall-related knowledge and fall prevention self-efficacy of care-givers working in long-term care hospitals on fall prevention behaviors and fall management behaviors for older adults with dementia. Methods: Participants were 125 care-givers working in long-term care hospitals. Data were collected with structured questionnaires from August 7 to 14, 2018. Data were analyzed by t-test, ANOVA, $Scheff{\dot{e}}$ test, Pearson's correlation coefficients, and multiple regression analysis using SPSS 18.0. Results: Fall prevention self-efficacy influence fall prevention behaviors(${\beta}=.55$, p<.001), while fall-related knowledge impacted fall management behaviors(${\beta}=.43$, p<.001). Conclusions: The results suggest that an education program for fall prevention of older adults with dementia in long-term care hospitals should focus on improving the fall-related knowledge and fall prevention self-efficacy of care-givers to increase both the fall prevention behaviors and fall management behaviors of care-givers.
