  • Purpose The purpose of the present study is to analyze the factors influencing the intention to use direct bank continuously from the perspective of service rather than technology. Hygiene factors including economic benefits, privacy, and unverified risks, and convenience of service as a motivator were considered as user's satisfaction. A research model integrating the relationships among user's satisfaction, its determinants, social influence, and continuous intention to use direct banks was proposed. Design/methodology/approach Structural equation modelling for validating the research model was employed. 253 valid data were collected from users of direct bank service in South Korea and China, and used to test six hypotheses. Findings User's satisfaction and social influence were determinants of continuous use intention of direct bank. Convenience of service as a motivator has a significant influence on service satisfaction, while economic benefits, privacy, and unverified risks as hygiene factors have no significant influence on the continuous intention. Managers of direct banks need to implement service differentiation strategies to gain customers' loyalty. Also they seek to find the determinants of social influence. The present study confirmed that there is a big difference between Korea and China in terms of factors affecting the continuous intention to use direct bank.

  • In online competitive social networks, each user can be influenced by different competing influencers and consequently chooses different products. But their interest may change over time and may have swings between different products. The existing influence spreading models seldom take into account the time-related shifts. This paper proposes a minimum cost influence maximization algorithm based on the competitive transition probability. In the model, we set a one-dimensional vector for each node to record the probability that the node chooses each different competing influencer. In the process of propagation, the influence maximization on Competitive Linear Threshold (IMCLT) spreading model is proposed. This model does not determine by which competing influencer the node is activated, but sets different weights for all competing influencers. In the process of spreading, we select the seed nodes according to the cost function of each node, and evaluate the final influence based on the competitive transition probability. Experiments on different datasets show that the proposed minimum cost competitive influence maximization algorithm based on IMCLT spreading model has excellent performance compared with other methods, and the computational performance of the method is also reasonable.

  • This study aims to identify the object relations and PAD factors of Instagram users, apply the object relations to the emotional response (PAD) factors, and empirically study the structural relationship between these factors and satisfaction. To this end, we proposed a research model to which the four factors of object relations theory and the three factors of emotional response (PAD) theory that emphasize the emotions of users are applied. Surveys were conducted on the college students in Seoul and Suwon who had used Instagram. As a result of this study, the following conclusions can be drawn: Non-alienation has a significant influence on pleasure, arousal, and domination. Secure attachment does not have a significant influence on pleasure and arousal, while it does have on domination. Social ability does not have a significant influence on pleasure, arousal, and domination. Egocentrism has a significant influence on arousal, but not on pleasure and domination. Pleasure has a significant influence on arousal and satisfaction. Arousal has a significant influence on domination and satisfaction. Domination has a significant influence on satisfaction. In conclusion, when emotions are shared among the users of Instagram, not alienated, it affects their satisfaction.

  • As competition for better service between corporations is getting fierce, many efforts to improve service quality are being made endlessly. The quality of service is directly associated with customer satisfaction and the employee performance of emotional labor is a key factor to attain a high level of customer review and better corporation image. This study examines an influence of emotional labor on job stress and customer orientation in the context of a service franchise firm. The results are as follow. First, deep acting of emotional labor has a negative influence on job stress, and surface acting of emotional labor has a negative influence on customer orientation. Also, job stress has a negative influence on customer orientation. Second, deep acting of emotional labor does not have a positive influence on customer orientation. Third, surface acting of emotional labor does not have a positive influence on job stress. The findings of this study show that deep acting of service based on an employee emotion can produce the employee's better service attitude by decreasing employees' job stress, but standardized surface acting of service cannot. Therefore, franchisor needs to use employees' deep acting to improve the franchisee service quality.

  • This research conducted an empirical analysis of factors that influence the process of job choices and start-ups among the youth. By conducting a comparative analysis on 6 countries with adequate career systems and booming startup industries (China, Indonesia, the UK, Germany, Israel, the US.). The statistical sample is based on the Global Entrepreneurship Trend Ratio and covers a total of 7,082 youth across 7 countries. Multivariate variance analysis and correlational analysis were conductedto compare the average figures among different countries and analyze the regulation effect of parental influence. Job satisfaction, parental influence, and willingness to change future job were selected as the factors that influence job choices. Korea's job satisfaction was the lowest among 7 countries and a willingness to change future job was the highest. Meanwhile, Korea's parental influence was at a medium level among 7 countries. It was proven that job satisfaction had a quasi-control effect on the process of influencing willingness to change future job. Entrepreneurial education, willingness to start-up, job satisfaction, and parental influence were chosen as the factors that influence start-up. Two-way ANOVA were conducted to comparatively analyze each country's average, mutual influence among different factors, and analyze the regulation effect of parental influence. In all countries, start-up education has the effect of raising the willingness to start-up. Also, it was verified that parental influence had a quasi-control effect in the process of career satisfaction influencing the willingness to start-up. The research results will provide meaningful implications for the government and educational institutes including universities when designing policy directions to guide overall career for the youth in the future.

  • This research focuses on the perceived marketplace influence(PMI: A belief that recognizes the effect that an individual's actions will have on the behavior of other consumers in the market and thus drives them to act on fair trade consumption) of consumers who may act as a more fundamental explanatory alternative to the gap in attitudes and behaviors of fair trade products. The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between consumer's self - determination psychological needs (autonomy, competence, relevance), influence (personal influence, market influence), and the assets of fair trade products. As a result of the empirical analysis, it was found that among the major psychological needs related to self-determination, the variables other than competence and the perceived influence relations of consumers can be directly formed, and the perceived consumer effectiveness(PCE) has a positive influence on perceived marketplace influence(PMI). It is also found that the perceived influence of consumers(PCE, PMI) has an influence on the consumers' perceived equity of Fair Trade products. The results of this study will provide an opportunity to theoretically explain the gap between consumers' attitudes and behaviors of Fair Trade products, which is a part of ethical consumption, and provide important implications for the establishment of marketing strategies.

  • This study aims at grasping the influence of antecedents within SCM to information sharing and cooperation as well as the influence of information sharing on cooperation among the small & medium-sized manufacturing industries, thus ultimately opening the way to the study on the influence of major activities such as information sharing and cooperation within SCM on the business performance by classifying such influence into low perspectives of BSC. The results of this study revealed that the antecedents such as commitment and cultural similarities exercised a significant influence on information sharing while mutual trust and the size of a corporate weighing with cooperative activities. It also identified the fact that information sharing bore a significant influence on cooperation in terms of relationships among activities. For the relationships between the SCM activities and performance, cooperation proved significant to all four balanced scorecard performances with little significant influence of information sharing on balanced scorecard performance. However, taking into consideration of the significance of information sharing on cooperation as well as the significant influence of cooperation on balanced scorecard performance, it fumed out that information sharing also effected a indirect influence on such four types of balanced scorecard performance. In this regard, based on the results of this study, it was identified that information sharing and cooperation, major activities within SCM, had either direct or indirect influence, through the influence of antecedents, on the business balanced scoreboard performance measured from a customer perspective, a business process perspective, an innovation and teaming perspective and a financial perspective.
