Glass Infilteration in Bonding of $BaTiO_3$ and $Al_2O_3$ Layers

  • A novel sintering process is proposed for bonding of $BaTiO_3$ and $Al_2O_3$ layers. Common commercial glass was used and infilterated among filler particles. As the kind of commercial glass, the phenomenon of the infilteration is different. Although Sud-1140 glass forms a glass/filler composite, it is not completely infilterated into the filler particles at $900^{\circ}C$. However as the increase of sintering temperature the infilteration of glass was improved. In this study, GA-1 and GA-12 glasses were infilterated the more than Sud-1140 glass. However, they are reacted by $BaTiO_3$ layer. The results of the experiment show that constrained sintering and the co-firing of the different materials were possible for glass infilteration using Sud-1140 glass at $1000^{\circ}C$.

당의 종류 및 가열방법에 따른 당침밤 제품의 품질 변화 (The Changes in Quality of Sugars Chestnuts by Sugars and Heating Methods)

  • The effects of sugars and heating methods on the sugar infilteration, hardness, color and organoleptic characteristics were investigated for quality improvement of sugared chestnuts. Among the tested sugars, isomaltooligosugar was the most effective on the rate of sugar infilteration. High temperature increased the rate of sugar infilteration during sugaring process, but color and flavor were deteriorated at 9$0^{\circ}C$. The most suitable temperature for sugaring process was 7$0^{\circ}C$. The product sugared with fructooligosugar recoreded the highest score in hardness, odor and preference than any other sugars tested and increased the rate of sugar infilteration when mixed with sugar at same amount. The changes of soluble solids in chestnuts boiled with microwave oven were ranged from 18。Brix to 32。Brix, while chestnuts heated in general were from 18。Brix to 28。Brix. Chestnuts boiled with microwave heating were sugared rapidly. The hardness of boiled and sugared chestnuts was lower when treated with microwave than with general heating. Hunter's L and b value of sugared chestnut treated with microwave decreased during processing but a value somewhat increased.

  • 무연탄회(無煙炭灰)와 유연탄회(有煙炭灰)를 식양토(埴壤土)에서는 12톤/10a씩 1년 및 3년간(年間) 처리(處理)하고, 사양토(砂壤土)에서는 2년간(年間) 처리(處理)된 토양내(土壤內)의 토심(土深) 30cm, 60cm, 100cm에서의 침투수중(浸透水中) 중금속(重金屬) 함량(含量)을 조사(調査)한 결과(結果)는 다음과 같다. 1. 식양토(埴壤土) 논에서 무연탄회(無煙炭灰) 처리(處理)로 Zn는 무처리(無處理)보다 증가(增加)되었으며 토심(土深)이 깊을수록 증가(增加)되는 경향이나 유의성(有意性)은 없었다. 2. 식양질(埴壤質) 논에서 석탄회(石炭灰)를 3년간(年間) 연용(連用)한 결과(結果), 석탄회(石炭灰) 처리(處理)로 Pb와 Zn는 석탄회(石炭灰) 처리(處理)로 무처리구(無處理區) 보다 다소 증가(增加)되었고 토심별(土深別)로는 Pb만이 100cm 토심(土深)에서 증가(增加)되었으나, 기타 성분(成分)은 석탄회처리구(石炭灰處理區)가 무처리구(無處理區) 보다 감소(減少)되었다. 3. 사양질(砂壤質) 논에서 석탄회(石炭灰)를 2년간(年間) 처리(處理)로 무연탄회(無煙炭灰) 처리(處理)에서는 Cd, Ni, Mn은 유의성(有意性)있게 증가(增加)되었고 심토(深土)에서도 증가(增加)되었으나 기타 성분은 유사하거나 감소되었다.

  • The shrinkage variation of Low Temperature Cofired Ceramics(LTCC) limits the size of the substrates that impose limitations on embedded passive components. This paper focuses on the method of minimizing or controlling planar shrinkage and reducing distortion during firing. The laminated sheets of alumina and glass were sintered at varying temperature, and depending on the amount of the glass ceramics. When the sintered of multi-layer structure with $Al_2O_3/Glass/Al_2O_3$, the glass infiltrated entirely into $Al_2O_3$ layer at the temperature of about $950^{\circ}C$ or higher.

젊은 흰쥐와 늙은 흰쥐에서 인터루킨-1$\alpha$로 유도된 급성폐손상에 관한 형태학적 연구 (Morphological Study of Acute Lung Injury Induced by Interleukin-1$\alpha$ Intratracheally in Young and Old Rats)

  • 인터루킨-1 (IL-1)을 횐쥐의 기관지로 투여하여 급성 폐손상을 유도하고 폐세척액 내의 단백질 함량 측정과 조직학적, 미세구조적 관찰 및 폐조직 내 $H_2O$$_2$ 분포를 관찰하기 위한 세포화학적 실험을 수행하였다. 또한 노화가 급성 폐손상을 가중시키는 한 요소인지를 검토하였다. IL-1으로 유도된 급성 폐손상은 호중구의 침윤으로 인해 산화적 손상이 가해졌으며, 이로 인해 폐포강 내로 단백질 삼출과 백혈구의 유주가 발생하였다. 하지만 노화에 따른 $H_2O$$_2$분포 양상은 IL-1 투여군 4개월, 20개월간의 차이를 인정할 수 없었다. 따라서 본 연구결과를 통하여 급성호흡곤란 증후군 환자의 폐세척액에서 증가하는 IL-1을 흰쥐의 기관지 내로 투여하여 유도된 급성 폐손상은 호중구의 침윤으로 인한 산화적 손상이 매우 큰 원인으로 작용함을 형태적으로 확인할 수 있었으며, 노화 자체가 급성 폐손상을 가중시키지는 않는 것으로 사료되었다.

  • This research introduces some preliminary results of bank filtering intake method adopted ill Backam area, Yongin city. This bank infiltration had been supplied to water resources of 750 m$^3$/day to Backam-myun, in 2002. It is believed that the bank infilteration method can afford to supply backam-myun people, Youngin city. The analysis of pumping data along the river shows the water supply pattern. Monitoring data of 1-6 pumping stations on the decline of water table along river sides and basic data on hydrogeologic properties are used to analyze the spatial disturbance range of groundwater systems due to the river pumping system.

공통의 Glass를 이용한 LTCC 이종소재의 무수축 접합 (Bonding of Different Materials Using Common Glass in Zero Shrinkage LTCC)

  • 공통의 glass를 이용한 LTCC 이종소재의 무수축 접합 가능성을 확인하기 위하여 2종의 상용 glass를 이용하여 소결온도를 변화시키면서 미세구조 및 결정구조, x-y축 방향의 수축율을 관찰하였다. 실험 결과 GA-12 glass는 강유전체 $BaTiO_3$와 glass의 composite개념을 이용한 접합에 적절하지 않은 것으로 판단되었으며, GA-1 glass의 경우는 $750^{\circ}C$$800^{\circ}C$ 사이에서 glass의 충분한 침투조건이 확인되며, 결정구조 에서도 glass/$BaTiO_3$ composite이 형성되므로 layer 간의 delamination은 발견되지만 x-y축 방향의 무수축 접합의 가능성이 확인되었다.

조선시대 내지봉수에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Inland Signal-fire in Chosun Dynasty)

  • This research was to analyze the inland signal-fire which is the main facility of military protective duty for safety of land in chosun dynasty. The results of this research were described separately as follows. 1. Five types of site plan of signal-fire were observed, which is circle, oval, rectangular, indeterminate form. The majorities were oval type. 2. Plan configuration of brazier which is separated with circle, rectangular type roughly was constructed with circle type generally. The height of brazier was about 3~4.5m. The diameter of brazier was 1.5~2.5m. Building base that protect ground moisture and infilteration of rainfall was found in 5 inland singal-fire, the height of it was about 0.3m~2.5m. 3. The heigh to protective wall remained until present was about 1m, the depth was about average 1.2m. 4. Entrance was mainly stairs or open type and average width was 1.0~1.2m. However the depth was almost observed as 1m, originally, it was estimated it has more depth. 5. The storage of inland signal-fire has rectangular dimension, several types of $1.8{\times}1.2m{\sim}5.7{\times}4.4m$, square(間) of $1{\times}1{\sim}2{\times}1$. The building material was stone and located below or near the brazier.

The Effect of Quercetin in Corneal Opacity Induced by Mitomycin-C

  • This study examined the effects of quercetin on corneal opacity caused by corneal edema by suppressing the damage on corneal endothelial cell, which was induced by mitomycin-C (MMC). In the MMC-treated group, the number of keratocytes was noticeably fewer compared to that of other groups. Although this group showed normal amount of fiber in the corneal stroma, the thickness was shown to be very thick and the alignment of the corneal endothelial cells that worked as the barrier against aqueous humor was irregular. According to such results, it was known that corneal opacity induced by MMC is not caused by proliferation of keratocytes, but by corneal edema triggered by the infiltration of aqueous humor. In the MMC+quercetin and quercetin+MMC-treated groups, the number of keratocytes was higher and polymorphonuclear leukocytes infilteration was lower significantly compared to that of the MMC-treated group. Although the amounts of fiber and endothelioid cell arrangement were normal, there was more space observed in the corneal stroma. Nonetheless, these groups showed significantly lower stromal thickness compared to that of the MMC group. In conclusion, quercetin has the effect on the reduction of corneal opacity caused by corneal edema that work MMC-induced damage to the corneal endothelial cells.
