Employment number by areas is composed of various factors for groups and time series. In this paper, we use the panel data for finding various variables and using this, we analyzed the factors that is major influence to employment number by areas. For analysis we looked at employment number by areas, the region for analysis consist of seven groups, that is, the metropolitan city(such as Busan, Daegu, Incheon, Gwangiu, Daejeon, Ulsan.) and Seoul. Analyzing period be formed over a 63 time points(2005.01.- 2010.03). We examined the data in relation to the employment number by occupational job, unemployment rate, monthly household income, preceding business composite index, consumer price index, composite stock price index. In looking at the factors which determine employment number by areas job, evidence was produced supporting the hypothesis that there is a significant negative relationship between unemployment rate and monthly household income the consumer price index. The consumer price index and composite stock price index are significant positive relationship, preceding business composite index is positive relationship, it are not significant variables in terms of employment number by areas job.

In this paper, we suggest the method for a mobile robot to move safely from an initial position to a goal position in the wide environment like a building. There is a problem using odometry encoder sensor to estimate the position of a mobile robot in the wide environment like a building. Because of the phenomenon of wheel's slipping, a encoder sensor has the accumulated error of a sensor measurement as time. Therefore the error must be compensated with using other sensor. A vision sensor is used to compensate the position of a mobile robot as using the regularly attached light's panel on a building's ceiling. The method to create global path planning for a mobile robot model a building's map as a graph data type. Consequently, we can apply floyd's shortest path algorithm to find the path planning. The effectiveness of the method is verified through simulations and experiments.
Considering the rising interest in environmental, social, and governance (ESG) globally, various studies have shown that ESG practice increases firm value; however, there is still much debate. This study focuses on the relationship between ESG practice and firm value. Further, we identify the mechanisms constituting this relationship to address relevant research gaps. Specifically, this study examines the connection between ESG practice and corporate valuation, emphasizing the mediating role of a company's reputation. Using panel analysis of data from 145 Korean firms (2014-2021), the study reveals that ESG practices notably enhance firm value, signaling their significance to stakeholders. Corporate reputation acts as a bridge between ESG efforts and value, with corporate reputation's influence varying across industries. This research presents broad implications for both academic and industrial fields, highlighting the strategic importance of ESG in enhancing firm value.

This study attempts to explore the difference of innovation sources between high-tech industry and mid-tech industry through patent analysis. After extracting 119 corporates, commonly surveyed in 2007 HCCP(Human Capital Corporate Panel) and 2005~2006 Korea Innovation Survey, their patents applied for the Korean Intellectual Property Office in 2007~2012 are analysed mainly through negative binomial regression model. Analytical results shows that external information source could be opposite effects to technological innovation depending on technological level and industrial characteristics. The current results are still bounded in the statistical significance, mainly due to the limited observations and information.

The aim of this study is to shed light on factors that influence securing of university research grants. For this purpose, this study emphasizes the role of management capability of industry-university cooperation foundation in securing research grants. We analyze whether the potential capabilities influence research grants using panel data from 194 universities during 2016 to 2018. The results obtained from the Driscoll & Kraay standard errors (DKSE) indicate that a number of variables including the portion of industry-university collaboration professors, academic performance of professors, and the number of paid researchers are positively associated with the amount of external research grant approved. However, the percentage of employees employed for less than two years is negatively related with securing external research grants. Once the dependent variable is measured by the total university research grants, the negative coefficient of employees with short-term career disappears. Instead, the percentage of employees who are in charge of research planning and management and the total number of employees involved in industry-university collaboration foundations are negatively related with the total university research grant amounts.

This study examines the effect of fintech on retail banks stock return listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period of 2016-2018 as today's new technology lead to the emergence of fintech companies playing the same role as retail banks in the financial industry. This study is conducted quantitatively using monthly data from January 2016 to October 2018 and uses fintech as independent variable, proxied by fintech funding frequency and fintech funding value. Data transformation is conducted due to data volatility. The data of fintech funding, both frequency and value, is transformed into standardized fintech funding and growth of fintech funding. The data is obtained from Crunchbase, while the data of stock returns is obtained from Investing. This study further analyzes the data using Fama French Three-Factor Model and panel data regression. We found that fintech has no significant effect on retail banks' stock returns listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period of 2016-2018. The findings of the study provide some useful insights in understanding fintech companies' current position to retail banks in Indonesia. This study also suggests banking institutions, fintech companies, policy-makers, and others to take advantageous steps in building inclusive financial sectors.

China has become the second largest economy since 2010. China's economy is supported by the rapid growth of its automobile industry. The rapid growth of the automobile and tire industry will increase the natural rubber (NR) demand as its primary raw materials. Although as a significant producer, China cannot fulfill the consumption by its domestic production. Thus China relies heavily on import from Southeast Asia countries as the primary producers of natural rubber in the world. China and Southeast Asia are dependent on their economy in terms of the availability of natural rubber as raw materials. But the economic slowdown in China since 2008 is expected to affect the international trading between China and Southeast Asia countries. This research aims to analyze the determinants of NR export from Southeast Asia to China using panel data analysis. The results show NR price, exchange rate, and China's economic slowdown significantly affect NR export to China, while Southeast Asian NR production has no significant effect. China as the main importer of NR from Southeast Asia has a big role in growing NR export in Southeast Asia. If China's economy doesn't improve soon, it will affect the economy in Southeast Asia.
