This study was conducted to analyze the impact of industrial park development on the livelihood of people living around the industrial parks in the Central region of Vietnam. The data was collected from 394 households living around these industrial parks; using the data, the authors employed a quantification model among factors affecting the income of families living in the surroundings of industrial parks and they calculate the adaptive capacity of households to consider the impact of the development of industrial parks on people's livelihood. Research findings show that industrial park development has both positive and negative impacts on the livelihood of people living around the industrial parks. Specifically, the factors that positively affect the income of households living around industrial parks include the area of land acquired due to the construction of industrial parks, the transportation system after the industrial park has located there, and the number of jobs available when the industrial park is being built. The factor that negatively affects the income of households living around industrial parks when they are under construction is the number of unemployed laborers. The study also calculated that the adaptive capacity of the people after the industrial park development is a coefficient of 0.376.

20세기 산업화가 심화되는 과정에서 산업과 주거가 분리 개발되면서 여러 문제를 발생시키고, 새로운 산업 성장에 따라 산업단지의 복합화가 요구되었다. 이와 함께 지속가능한 산업단지를 조성하기 위한 필요성도 강조되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 지속가능한 복합산업단지의 조성을 위하여 이론 고찰을 통하여 복합산업단지의 개념을 파악하고 선행연구와 전문가FGI를 통해 계획요소를 선정하였다. 그리고 국내 외 사례의 적용현황을 비교 분석하여 측면별 시사점을 도출하고 계획방향을 제시하였으며, 이를 통하여 국내 복합산업단지 조성을 위한 기초자료로 활용하는데 연구의 의의가 있다.

본 연구는 포항철강산업단지를 대상으로 부산물 발생 현황과 현재까지 구축된 산업공생 네트워크를 분석하는데 목적을 두었다. 포항은 경상북도 시군 중 사업장 폐기물 발생량과 재활용 제외 폐기물 발생량이 모두 가장 높았으며, 대부분이 포항철강산업단지에서 발행하였다. 부산물 발생량을 조사한 결과 재활용을 제외한 폐기물 발생량의 대부분은 광재류가 차지하고 있으며 폐목재류, 분진류, 폐합성수지, 폐합성고무의 순으로 나타났다. 포항철강산업단지 입주기업간 구축된 부산물 거래 공생맵을 작성한 결과 부산물 중 폐내 화물 및 슬래그를 이용한 부산물 거래가 가장 활발하게 이루어지는 것으로 나타났다.

본 논문은 생태효율성 지표 작성을 통하여 여수산업단지(여수산단) 지표를 개발하였다. 여수산단 매출의 경우 원화의 가치와 원부원료의 수출입 원가 변동 폭이 큰 관계로 제품의 가치(기능)에서 제외하고 대신 총 생산액, 에틸렌 생산량, 경질유 생산량으로 제품의 기능 부문을 구성하고, 환경부하로서는 현재 공식적으로 입수 가능한 자료인 전력 소모량, 용수 사용량 및 폐수 배출량을 사용하였다. 2004년을 기준으로 할 때 2006년의 환경경제효율 지수를 계산한 결과 0.954로 지수가 나빠졌으나, 여수산단의 생태산업단지사업이 성공할 경우 2015년에는 지수가 1.153으로 약 15% 정도 개선될 것으로 예측되었다.

Recently, SID (Sustainable Industrial Development) or green growth is the major concern of industries. EIP (Eco Industrial Park) is one of the important part of SID which aims to improve eco-efficiency of resources such as material, energy and water. In this study, current status of Banwol & Sihwa industrial complex relating EIP was investigated and the plan to design of Banwol & Sihwa EIP was suggested.
