Examining the Relationships Between Instagram Use, Perceived Social Support, and Psychological Well-Being

  • This study examined the relationship between SNS use and individual psychological well-being on Instagram. In particular, this study sorted three types of perceived social support-informational, companionship, and self-esteem-to investigate how they influenced individual life satisfaction and loneliness. Results from a survey of 174 college students showed that: (1) frequency of Instagram use was a significant predictor of all three types of perceived social support; (2) status updates had positive effects on perceived self-esteem support, while posting photos was a significant predictor of perceived companionship support; (3) browsing others' profiles was a significant negative predictor of perceived self-esteem support and finally (4) perceived companionship social support had a positive effect on life satisfaction, whereas self-esteem social support had a negative effect on loneliness. These findings imply that Instagram users obtain specific types of social support depending on which activities they engage in and that different types of social support have different effects on well-being.

  • 이 연구는 조직의 성과를 극대화 할 수 있는 방안으로 개인의 직무만족과 조직몰입에 영향을 미치는 요인의 탐색을 통한 대학도서관 인적자원관리 시사점 도출을 목적으로 하고 있다. 대학도서관 조직의 전략과 연계된 조직차원의 인적자원관리 시스템이 조직성과에 미치는 직접적 영향 관계의 분석뿐 아니라 고몰입 인적자원관리 시스템이 조직성과에 영향을 미치는 권한위임, 조직문화, 조직공정성, 이직의도 등의 영향관계를 파악하고자 한다. 또한 조직수준 혹은 개인수준의 성과측정이라는 방식을 탈피하여 조직수준의 인적자원관리가 개인수준의 성과에 미치는 영향을 측정하고자 하였다.

The Impact of Employee Engagement on Employee Performance: A Case Study of Multinational Corporations in Thailand

  • The purpose of this research was to investigate the relationship between employee engagement and individual performance outcomes (including growth, achievement, contribution, and customer satisfaction) in large firms in Thailand, which is rapidly growing as an international business hub. The study took place in Thai offices of multinational corporations, whose performance is both very important for Thailand's overall economy and for the firm's continued presence in Thailand. The study was conducted using a survey methodology. A convenience sample of employees of multinational corporations (n = 423) completed a survey on employee engagement and individual performance outcomes. The data were analyzed using linear regression analysis. The results showed that there was a significant, positive relationship between employee engagement and all four performance outcomes that were targeted. The strongest effect was observed for achievement (β = 0.899), followed by growth (β = 0.887), contribution (β = 0.872), and customer satisfaction (β = .867). These findings indicate that employee engagement is a significant and strong factor that determines the individual performance of employees of multinational corporations. This implies that companies do need to consider how to promote employee engagement. There were some limitations, especially social response bias and the self-reported nature of performance, that limit these findings.

아파트 공간규모의 적정성에 관한 연구 (A Study of Appropriateness of Space in Multi-Family Housing)

  • The purpose of the study was to analyze the appropriateness of space in multi-family housing by examining the current conditions of space, space norms and deficits, satisfaction with and needs for the spaces of individual rooms. The data came from the survey with 412 households living in Haeundae New Town, Busan and were analyzed with descriptive statistics. The appropriateness of space were mainly investigated in terms of housing size, number of bedrooms, and number of bathrooms. In terms of current space conditions, the highest portion of the households live in apartments with $20\sim30s$ pyong, 3 bedrooms, and 2 bathrooms. It was found that the space norms included housing with $30\sim40s$ pyong, 3 bedrooms, and 2 bathrooms. Households in current study tended to have some space deficits, especially in housing size and number or bathrooms. In general, the satisfaction with the current space of individual rooms were generally low except living room and master bedroom. It was also found that the households were more likely to make the second biggest bedroom bigger than now. The stages of family life cycle has significant effects on needs for the spaces of several rooms, such as dining room, room2, and room3.

한의학교육에서 문제바탕학습 시행에 따른 만족도 (Evaluation of the Implementation of Problem-Based Learning in Korean Medical Education)

  • This study aims to evaluate the student satisfaction of problem-based learning(PBL) in Korean medical curriculum. A questionnaire was given to clinical clerkship students of Pusan National University School of Korean medicine. These items covered overall evaluation of module & learning environment, tutoring, individual learning, group learning and effectiveness for clinical clerkship in PBL. By most of all respondents, PBL was recognized as a more effective learning method. Most respondents were satisfied with the group learning, individual learning and effectiveness for clinical clerkship. However, satisfaction was lower for tutors and module. The results of this study demonstrated that the students had a high level of satisfaction in PBL. It might be concluded that PBL was successfully implemented into the Korean medical curriculum.

메타버스 텔레워크 도입과 효과의 향상에 관한 연구: 인지된 업무생산성, 직무성과, 직무만족도를 중심으로 (A Study on the Introduction and Effectiveness of Metaverse Telework: Focusing on Perceived Work Productivity, Job Performance, and Job Satisfaction)

  • With the spread of COVID-19, non-face-to-face social exchanges around the world have increased, leading to a rise in the demand for telework. The recent advancement in technology has facilitated the emergence of metaverse platforms, with telework utilizing the metaverse gaining significant popularity. Such metaverse telework is signaling innovative changes in the business environment, yet sufficient research has not been conducted. This study analyzed the factors affecting the perceived work productivity, job performance, and job satisfaction of metaverse telework users. To achieve this, an online survey was conducted, focusing on individual factors (self-management tactics, sense of belonging, social presence, IT complexity) and situational factors (perceived workload, organizational support, metaverse telework environment, and flexible work arrangements). Out of the total responses, 358 valid questionnaires were used for the analysis, excluding any insincere responses. The SPSS 27.0 software was employed to verify the research hypotheses. This study proposed effective strategies to enhance the efficiency of telework within the metaverse.

구조방정식을 이용한 치과위생사의 전문직업성, 자기효능감이 직무만족에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Professionalism and Self-efficacy on the Job Satisfaction of Dental Hygienists Using the Structural Equation Model)

  • 본 연구는 구조방정식을 이용한 치과위생사의 전문직업성, 자기효능감이 직무만족에 미치는 영향을 파악하고자 616명을 대상으로 설문조사 하였으며, SPSSWIN 18.0과 AMOS 20 통계프로그램을 이용하여 분석한 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 1. 치과위생사의 전문직업성은 3.34점, 자기효능감 3.76점, 직무만족도 3.36점으로 나타났다. 2. 연령이 많을수록, 교육정도가 높을수록, 기혼인 경우, 근무경력이 많을수록 전문직업성, 자기효능감 및 직무만족도 정도가 높은 것으로 나타났고, 통계적으로도 유의한 차이를 보였다. 3. 본 연구모형은 전문직업성과 자기효능감의 상관계수는 .69, 전문직업성$\rightarrow$직무만족도 경로에서는 .33, 자기효능감$\rightarrow$직무만족도 경로에서는 .59로 정의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 즉 전문직업성과 자기효능감과의 상관관계는 어느 정도 있는 것으로 나타났고, 전문직업성 보다는 자기효능감이 높을수록 직무만족도가 증가하는 것으로 볼 수 있다. 직무만족은 조직 내의 다양한 환경과 개인의 내적 요인에 영향을 받는다. 직무만족이 중요한 이유는 의료서비스의 질생산성과 함께, 치과위생사 개인의 삶의 질과도 연관되기 때문이다. 변화하는 시대에 대응하기 위해서는 치과위생사의 직무만족도를 증가시키기 위한 조직의 변화와 노력뿐만 아니라, 치과위생사들의 직업에 대한 확신, 전문직업성과 자기효능감을 향상시키기 위한 노력이 함께 동반되어야 한다.

  • 본 연구는 국제여객터미널 대합실의 환경요소와 감정, 만족 간의 영향관계에 대하여 알아보고자 하였다. 구조모형 검증결과 첫째, 대합실의 물리적 환경요소는 감정에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 대합실의 사회적 환경요소는 감정에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 감정은 만족도에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 환경적 요소는 감정에 영향을 미치는 중요한 요소이므로 장소의 특성에 따라 환경적 요소들에 대한 관리가 요구된다. 또한 환경적 요소는 감정을 매개로 만족도에 영향을 미치게 되므로 관광객들의 감정에 부정적 영향을 미치지 않도록 국제여객터미널 관련 주체는 대합실 환경에 대한 지속적인 관심과 관광객들의 이용 만족도를 향상 시킬 수 있는 환경마련에 노력해야 할 것이다.

  • 본 연구는 국제여객터미널 대합실의 환경요소와 감정, 만족 간의 영향관계에 대하여 알아보고자 하였다. 연구대상은 일본으로 출국하기 위하여 대기하고 있는 관광객을 대상으로 하였고, 자료 수집은 자기기입방식을 이용한 설문조사를 이용하였다. 그리고 설문지의 통계처리는 SPSS 18.0을 이용하였고, 가설검증을 위하여 AMOS 18.0을 이용하여 분석하였다. 구조모형 검증결과 첫째, 대합실의 물리적 환경요소는 감정에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 대합실의 사회적 환경요소는 감정에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 감정은 만족도에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구를 통해 환경요소는 감정에 영향을 미치는 중요한 요소임을 알 수 있다. 그러므로 장소의 특성에 따라 환경적 요소들에 대한 관리가 요구되어진다. 또한 환경적 요소는 감정을 매개로 만족도에 영향을 미치게 되므로 관광객들의 감정에 부정적 영향을 미치지 않도록 국제여객터미널과 관련된 주체는 대합실 환경에 대한 지속적인 관심과 관광객들의 이용 만족도를 향상시킬 수 있는 환경마련에 노력하여야 할 것이다.

20~30대 여성의 수영경력과 신체적 자아개념에 따른 수영복 선택기준과 구매만족도 (Selection Criteria and Swimsuit Purchase Satisfaction of Female Consumers According to Swimming Experiences and Physical Self-concepts)

  • This study analyzed the relationship among swimming experiences, swimsuit selection criteria, swimsuit purchase satisfaction level, and the physical self-concept of female consumers. This study was based on a descriptive survey method using a questionnaire. The survey was conducted from June 15 through July 20, 2012, and the sample consisted of 330 female consumers in their 20s and 30s residing in the Seoul and Gyeonggi area. Factor analysis and Cronbach's ${\alpha}$ coefficients, ANOVA, Duncan's Test, and multiple regression analysis were employed for the data analysis. The results revealed that individual self-concepts on health, sports competence, and fitness were influenced by swimming experiences. There was a tendency for those with a longer period of swimming experience to have a higher level of brand consideration as a swimsuit selection criterion; in addition, they showed a higher satisfaction level with swimsuits. Individual physical self-concept influenced the consideration given to each swimsuit selection criterion as well as swimsuit purchase satisfaction level. The findings of the study reflect the possibility of utilizing swimming experiences as a criterion for swimsuit market segmentation. Attention to the quality of swimsuits as well as to the physical self-concept of consumers are required for marketing activities.
