Professional Mobility as a Factor of Professional Success of a Modern Specialist in the Conditions of Distance Learning

  • The article considers the training, competitiveness of specialists, professional mobility, professionalism and competence of specialists in the context of distance learning. The advantages of distance learning are shown. The characteristic features of distance learning in the preparation of students and in the implementation of these technologies in the educational process of higher educational institutions are determined. Competitiveness, professional mobility, professionalism and competence of a specialist are qualities that determine a person's life and work success. Professional mobility is interpreted as a systemic quality of a specialist's personality, which includes a whole range of knowledge, skills, abilities, personal qualities, value orientations, and so on. The vision of mobility of specialists by foreign scientists is presented. It is noted that the classification of professional mobility presented in the article makes it possible to organize various movements from a single position, to present them as separate manifestations of the general process of professional and pedagogical mobility, to determine which type of mobility ensures the performance of certain social functions. It was found that mobility can be differentiated into differentiated and intergeneration. According to the subject, individual and group mobility are distinguished; according to the direction - internal and external. The classification of employees according to their attitude to mobility is shown, which can be divided into the following groups: actually mobile; potentially mobile; actually stable; potentially stable.

가상 지식실행공동체에서 개인요인과 사회관계요인이 지식공유 활동에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Individual and Social Factors on the Knowledge Sharing Activities of the Virtual Community of Practice)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 가상 지식실행공동체에서의 개인의 지식공유와 지식의 활용에 영향을 미치는 요인이 무엇인지 알아보고, 조직에서 지적자원의 지속적인 확보 및 관리를 위한 전략적 시사점을 제공하는 것이다. UPOW라는 가상 지식실행공동체 사용자들을 대상으로 실증분석한 결과, 지식공유 자기효능감과 지식공유 즐거움은 지식공유행위의 두 가지 차원 중 공유된 지식의 질에는 영향을 주지만, 지식공유행위의 양과는 직접적인 관련이 없음을 발견하였다. 또한, 사회적 상호작용 강도와 구성원 신뢰는 공유된 지식의 질과 지식공유행위의 양에 유의한 영향을 미치며, 공유된 지식의 질과 지식 공유 행위의 양은 지식활용에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

농업인의 개인역량과 조직성과간의 연관관계 분석 (An Impact Analysis of Famer's Individual Competency on Agricultural Organization's Performance)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 농업인의 개인역량이 농업인이 속한 조직의 성과에 얼마나 영향을 미치며, 조직성과에 큰 영향을 주는 개인역량의 도출을 통해 농업조직의 성과 향상을 통한 국내농업의 경쟁력제고에 기초자료를 제공하고자 하였다. 본 연구 분석결과 11개의 농업인 개인역량 중 "관리능력, 고객만족, 마케팅, 정보획득"은 조직성과에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, "전략적사고"는조직성과에 부(-)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었다. 또한, 다소 예측하기 힘든 추상적 역량인 "팀워크, 창조성, 혁신성, 실행성, 유연성"은 통계적 유의성이 없는 것으로 나타났으나, 농업인들에게 내재되어 있는 중요 역량으로 조직성과 향상을 위해 장기적이고 지속적인 교육을 통한 농업인 개인역량 강화가 필요할 것으로 판단된다.

중소기업을 위한 프로젝트 수행역량 평가모델 (A Project Competency Assessment Model for Small and Medium Enterprises)

  • The competitiveness of modern organizations highly depends upon organizational competencies rather than individual competencies. However, most of previous studies on project success focused on individual competencies, such as project manager's competency and leadership. Even though there are some assessment models for the organizational project competencies, they are limited in specific organizations and industries. Furthermore, it is difficult to apply them to domestic companies, especially to small and medium enterprises because some assessment items are inappropriate for them. The purpose of this study is to propose an organizational project competency assessment model that is suitable for evaluating small and medium enterprises. First, the assessment areas and items for each area are determined through extensive investigation of previous models including OPM3, CMMI, and PMBOK. Next, the weights of assessment areas and items are decided by AHP analysis of experts response in the field of the project management. Finally, a project competency assessment model with assessment sheets is proposed. The model proposed in this study might support managers of small and medium enterprises to find pros and cons of project competencies and to establish improvement plans.

정보활용능력에 대한 자기효능감과 학업성취도간 상관관계 연구 (A Study on the Relationship Between the Self-efficacy on the Information Literacy and the Level of Academic Achievement)

  • 개인의 정보활용능력은 단기적으로는 현안 문제를 해결하고 장기적으로는 평생학습을 가능하게 해줌으로써 개인의 경쟁력에 많은 영향을 미칠 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 중요성이 부각되고 있는 정보활용능력이 개인의 성과와 상관관계를 가지는지를 대학생 집단을 대상으로 검증해 보았다. 개인의 성과 지표로는 실험집단이 대학생인 점을 고려하여 학업성취도인 평점평균을 채택하였다. 검증결과 정보활용능력(information literacy)에 대한 자기효능감(self-efficacy)과 학업성취도간에는 상관관계가 있음을 확인하였다. 또한 이러한 상관관계는 지속되는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 이 연구를 통해 정보활용능력이 개인의 성과에 영향을 미친다는 것을 확인하였고 이는 정보활용능력 관련 교과의 개설에 대한 당위성을 제공할 수 있을 것이다.

The Polarization of Wealth: The Effect of Support of Knowledge Management on Knowledge Management Activity and Company Performance

  • This study attempts to verify effects of CEO' supports, compensation and educational training and those of individual annual salaries and company's sales on promotion of knowledge management expected to contribute to enhancing construction industry's competitiveness, from the perspective of person-organization fit. For the analysis, a total of 368 effective questionnaires were used to conduct independent sample t-test, regression analysis and hierarchical moderated regression analysis. The findings show that individual annual salaries have a positive relationship with company's performance and company's sales also have positive relationships with both knowledge management activities and company performance, and CEO's supports, compensation and educational training are important factors that can improve knowledge management activities. In addition, the principle that the rich get richer and the poor get poorer is also operated in construction industry, as in other industries. Therefore, members in a company should conduct optimal strategies to enhance the knowledge management activities through selection and concentration, while governmental agencies require the establishment of IT system for it and supports for related cost and consulting of it.

Why Have Policies to Support Small and Medium Sized Retailers not Been Successful in South Korea?

  • Purpose: Support policies for small and medium-sized retailers (SMSRs) have been promoted in various ways over the past 20 years, but they are generally regarded as unsuccessful. The purpose of this study is to analyze the process and impact of policy changes, identify the reasons for the lack of success, and explore policy alternatives. Research design, data and methodology: This study explored major policies in various categories such as the retail industry, traditional markets, and Micro-Enterprises from the mid-1990s to the present. It also analyzed the short- and long-term impacts of major policies at the retail format level like SMSRs, using data from Statistics Korea's service industry survey. Results: This research found that sudden shifts in policy philosophy conflicted with the existing market structure and reduced the effectiveness of policies. It also found that policies aimed at improving competitiveness at the SMSRs-level had some effect, while polices aimed at supporting expenses at the individual store-level were difficult to achieve their intended purpose. Conclusions: The failure of the policy to support SMSRs is fundamentally due to the late response and conflicts between policies. It was also not successful due to the policy's focus on individual store-level expenses and maintaining employment rather than structural improvements of SMSRs format.

배출권거래제의 국제적 적용이 한국산업과 무역에 미치는 효과 (The effect of international linkage of emissions trading markets on Korean industries)

  • In this study, I focus on analyzing how the effects of implementing ETS are different depending on whether Korean ETS linking with carbon markets in other countries. The global computable general equilibrium (CGE) model built in this study analyzes the chages in the production and trade of industrial sectors according to the international linkage of ETS compared to the reference scenario of emissions reduction targets and implementation of ETS. From the analysis of internatioanl linkage of carbon markets scenarios, Annex B countries-South Korea carbon market linkage with individual ETS in China worse the economic outcomes in South Korea the most. This means South Korea lose the international competitiveness compared to China in this scenario. On the other hand, Annex B-China carbon market linkage with Korean individual ETS implementation reduce the decreases in production and trading. The most effective way is to join a global emissions trading market with China. The results are consistent in most industries of South Korea. These results are caused by that the supply of emission allowance is increased and the price of emissions allowances is dropped by China's participation to the carbon market, which can be understood to reduce the carbon reduction cost for industrial sectors. In addition, it can be also concluded that the determinant of the negative impact of ETS on changes in production and trade is more sensitive to the price of emissions allowances than to the characteristics of production and trade structure.

젖소의 사양관리 시스템 개발 (Development of a Stockbreeding Management System for Dairy Cattle)

  • The agriculture and fishery share in the Korean GDP is continuously decreasing after 1960s. Furthermore the proportion of these industries in the GDP has diminished as low as 10 percent in recent years. However, the stockbreeding sector in these industries are considerably expanded. More than 50 percent of the whole farmhouses are involved in the livestock farming, and the stock farming portion is steadily increased in its size and scope. Thus, the mechanization and the automization of stockbreeding equipments are greatly required to reduce down production cost, as well as to win the competitiveness in the global market. From this aspect, developed in this paper is a stockbreeding management system (SMS) for dairy cattle, which can be used in small and medium sized dairy farms. First, the basic schema of the stockbreeding management system are addressed in view of stockbreeding management for individual dairy cattle. Electronic identification (EI) systems and sensory devices have changed stockbreeding management strategy from group stock control into individual stock control manner. The SMS receives stock body measurement data through the sensory devices such as weight, temperature, and milk conductivity meters. A common database then integrates those measuring data together so that the SMS can determine the appropriate solution on each stock's breeding such as feeding and milking. Thus, each stock can be supervised by a sophisticated SMS that provides the best solution to the stockbreeding throughout the stock's whole life-cycle. Secondly. six major submodules of the SMS, based on the EI and sensory devices, are proposed. They are individual stock management, disease management, health management, feeding management, milking management, and a propagation management submodule. Finally, a prototype system for the SMS is demonstrated. The system is developed using Delphi 2 client-server system run under the Windows 95 environment.

개화기 과부개가 담론분석 -신문과 신소설을 중심으로- (A study of discourses on remarriage of the widows during the enlightenment period -Based on newspapers and Shinsoseol-)

  • This paper serves to analyze discourses on remarriage of the widows at the beginning of the modernization era or during the enlightenment period of Korea (1860-1910). The discourses of newspapers and Shinsoseol which are the text of this study have been analyzed with the qualitative research technique. The major conclusions that are derived from the study are as follows: First, intellectuals during the enlightenment period claimed the unfairness of the prohibition from remarriage of the widows with especially focusing on financial difficulty and life-long loneliness of the young widows. Second, permission of remarriage of the widows was explained not with the point of vies of individual life of widow, but with the point of vies of strengthening the international competitiveness. Third, the discourse claimed that the widow should hold the power of decision of remarriage. Forth, the discourse emphasized the etiquette of the wedding ceremony in remarriage of widows. Fifth, the point that the faithfulness was not easy for a usual widow to obey made the faithfulness noble ethical principle of Korea society.
