  • The traditional economic evaluation methods do not seem to consider derivative efforts-productivity improvement, quality improvement.-which may be occured by AMS introduction. Current evaluation methods are based on mass production with known characteristic and stable technology. Recently, expert suggest that these assumption-stable production and mass production-are realized to be a limited in substantial economic evaluation analysis. Therefore, the problem of traditional evaluation methods suggested in this thesis and decision in the case studies are derived using two complementary economic analysis methods-AHP method, modified economic evaluation model- and traditional evaluation method. After three methods are compared and evaluated in the view of practical economic evaluation, AHP method is intended to be introduced as a new economic evaluation method.

  • To keep an enterprise's competitiveness on the condition of the automatic manufacturing system such as FA, FMS and CIM, all the maintenance problems should be considered seriously in not only in production and maintenance but also in related industrial productivity. This paper presents the study of equipment reliability improvement for rotary-machine vibration analysis. Based on these analyses, the maintenance management information system, and the machinery condition diagnosis technique are studied by using of the real-time diagnostic. Therefore, it is expected to improve the efficiency of business processes in the production and safety when we use this system.

Production Information Monitoring System for CIM in Footwear Industry

  • This paper presents a production information monitoring system as an infrastructure of CIM system in footwear industry. The system is composed of hardware devices of terminal, communication converter, line controller and software for manufacturing processes. A terminal like a scanner is used for shop floor data input and a line controller is used to link between terminal and server. LAN and RS485 are used for connecting hardware components and deliver their information mutually. In the system, real time production information is acquired from information resources such as group of uppers and soles. The collected production information is delivered to a line controller and analyzed. Server receives information from line controller and machines for production management. Production planning information that is machined in the server is delivered to the shop floor and used for the production management of work in process, and used for improvement of productivity in a footwear production company. The implementation of the developed system shows the effectiveness of the system.

  • This study is the process of making high-definition TV broadcast color correction affects the end result comparison is focus on implement through study. In the production process and the impact on the color Correction in the video as an study for UHD, 4K, 6K video production workflow improvement of an effective program in the present and time and cost in the post production process, color correction for the final video through the production and overcome the failure of further in-efficient color correction study will help you to solve the problem. This study is the color changes over the course of the final video to see how much influence color correction of post-production. Color correction using a program of courses in Visual quality, regularly presented the possibility to retain and make on high definition video production post-production process for color correction method is utilized as the basis of study.

Garlic (Allium sativum) Supplementation: Influence on Egg Production, Quality, and Yolk Cholesterol Level in Layer Hens

  • Forty-eight 40-wk-old Hi-sex laying hens were individually caged in an environmentally controlled house to evaluate the effect of garlic (Allium Sativum) juice administration on egg production, egg quality, and yolk cholesterol. Garlic juice was prepared by blending pealed garlic cloves with distilled water (1:1, w/w). Hens were randomly divided into four equal groups; one served as a control and the other three groups were individually gavaged, 3.75 ml, 7.5 ml, or 15 ml garlic juice, three times a week, which respectively represented 0.25, 0.50 and 1% of body weight. Egg production was recorded on a daily basis; egg weight, albumen height, albumen and yolk pH, Haugh unit, and bacterial count of E. coli-challenged eggs were recorded at day of oviposition (day-1) and after 5 and 10 days of storage at room temperature. Yolk cholesterol content was analyzed for five successive weeks. Garlic juice increased (p<0.05) egg weight and mass with no change in egg production intensity. Garlic juice administration recorded higher (p<0.05) albumen height and improvement in Haugh unit. Also, eggs from garlic-treated hens recorded lower (p<0.05) albumen and yolk pH when compared to eggs collected from control hens. Garlic reduced (p<0.05) the $log_{10}$ of bacterial count in egg contents linearly when challenged with E. coli. Egg-yolk cholesterol content was not influenced by garlic juice administration. It is concluded that garlic juice improved performance characteristics and may increase egg shelf life as indicated by egg quality improvement and lower bacterial count of E. coli-challenged eggs. The levels of garlic juice used in this study were insufficient to influence egg yolk cholesterol.

Mechanism of Mokhyangjoki-san Extract on the Improvement in Cerebral Blood Flow in Ischemic Rats (목향조기산(木香調氣散) 추출물이 뇌허혈 흰쥐의 뇌혈류개선에 미치는 작용기전)

  • This study was designed to investigate the effects of Mokhyangjoki-san extract (MJS) on the improvement in cerebral blood flow (rCBF) in cerebral ischemic rats, and further to determine cytokines production (IL-1${\beta}$, TNF-${\alpha}$, IL-10, TGF-${\beta}$) of MJS. The results in cerebral ischemic rats were as follows ; The rCBF was significantly and stably increased by MJS (10 mg/kg, i.p.) during the period of cerebral reperfusion, which contrasted with the findings of rapid and marked increase in control group. In cytokine production in serum from femoral arterial blood 1 hr after middle cerebral arterial occlusion, MJS significantly decreased IL-1${\beta}$ and TNF-${\alpha}$ production, and increased IL-10 production compared with control group. In cytokine production in serum from femoral arterial blood 1 hr after reperfusion, MJS significantly decreased IL-1${\beta}$ and TNF-${\alpha}$ production compared with control group. IL-10 and TGF-${\beta}$1 production in MJS group were significantly increased compared with control group. These results suggested that MJS significantly and stably increased rCBF by inhibiting the production IL-1${\beta}$ and TNF-${\alpha}$, and accelerating that of IL-10 and TGF-${\beta}$. The result in nerve cells was as follows ; MJS significantly inhibited lactate dehydrogenase activity in vitro in a dose-dependent manner. This result suggested that MJS prevented the neuronal death.

Comparison of Estimation Methods of Primary Production of the Yellow Sea for Geostationary Ocean Color Imager (GOCI) Data (정지궤도 해색탑재체(GOCI) 자료 활용을 위한 황해의 일차생산력 추정방법 비교)

  • To estimate marine primary production, satellite data are essential for providing much better spatial and temporal resolutions. However, primary production estimation for turbid coastal water such as the Yellow Sea still needs much improvement. Here we evaluate currently available methods of primary production estimation in the Yellow Sea. We focus on comparison of eight combinations from four chlorophyll-a algorithms and two primary production algorithms of the Yellow Sea. Estimated primary production by the eight combinations ranged from 96.5 to $610.2\;gC\;m^{-2}\;yr^{-1}$ in the central region of the Yellow Sea. The new chlorophyll algorithms (presently under development by Korea, China, and Japan scientists) are expected to improve the retrieval of chlorophyll-a in turbid regions compared to the standard algorithm but there are certain unresolved problems. The new algorithm for primary production (which uses adjusted physiological parameters with in-situ data) also needs further improvement.

A Study on the Risk Identification Methods for Initial and Mass Production Stage of Military Products Using FMEA (FMEA를 활용한 군수품 초도 생산 및 양산 단계의 위험 식별 방안 연구)

  • Purpose: It can deduce improvement plan that recognizes any risk factors in initial production and mass production by using FMEA and through this process, the appropriate criteria for defence items can be established. Methods: It proposes two methodology - Apply DT/OT data achieved from the beginning mass production stage based on FMECA data of the design stage, to risk management, and risk management plan that reflected line and field faliure data in case of is offered. Results: It proposes the risk management plan through Bayesian method and the risk identification that considered MTTF estimated value in case of initial production process. In case of mass production process, both risk identification by using fault occurrence frequency scores and Byaesian method, In case of the Initial production and mass production, it proposes use both two methods. Conclusion: A more realistic risk identification method can be applied, and by this method the quality improvement effect is expected.
